You’ve nailed it….the beauty of the show for me is three fold….the traditional Scottish slang and lives, the genius comedy writing but also the emotional moments of friendship

The bearded chap is Billy Boyd aka Pippin from Lord of the Rings. Considering this show is 20 years old, he had probably filmed it already.
Interesting thing about this episode is this show was relatively unknown before it became a national phenomenon and cemented itself in our culture. Of course it followed chewin the fat but many hadn’t saw it. This was as we know filmed at central station during real commuters travelling and you can see many watching and wondering what’s going on outwith the few extras in this. I’ve always thought just a few years later they couldn’t have done this without closing it down and adding hundreds of extras

Then you must be half-deaf! It's uncomfortable on normal people's ear-drums when you're quietly listening to something and then all-of-a-sudden a booming voice cuts in with what seems like a screaming in your ears!
@@BlueShadow777 no, I got decent or good hearing, just I'm used to those things as quiet video then loud ad, mainly as long as can hear both then I'm normally fine, and yeah I noticed when I watch live streams they seem more audiophile than me as they are way more fussy about how the audio is, think even hearing test I did last said that nothing wrong with my hearing
Forgot I can add often to make me able to relax I watch twitch, a UA-cam or two and do gaming all at the same time (well mainly listen to all at same time as hard to keep eyes on all even with enough screens)
Oh I wish I had script to see what answer phone says as I can hear the time but others say he says central station, I hear "we be arriving on Friday at seven forty five a m"

Rab c nesbit explains it better with the shug in that he moved to England and is àshamed to be called shug they call him Hugh and when he drinks he turns back to shug 😂

@@Davidjohnson-o6g not so much in Scotland, Bob and Bobby are really the English abbreviation of Robert. Rab and Rabbie…sometimes Boab and Boabbie are the more traditional Scottish ones. But never Shug.
