Hey bro, you've put out fantastic content for years. You're stuff lately has been even better. Camera work, sound, content all of it. Between UA-cam and UMSO I have good stuff to look forward to all the time. Thanks!
Well, I don't see any difference between this leverage belt squat machine and just a leverage arm attached to rack uprigjt ?? It looks like this machine pulls you forward too and puts stress in your knees do to angle of leverage arm pulling u forward as you squat:(
If it's not too much trouble, would you be able to provide me with the measurement of that belt in inches from end of ring to end of ring? I hope it's not a bother. Thank you sir
MATT VINCENT Thank you. I am really shocked at the shipping cost of $360 to NJ for the Free Standing J Squat. I know for a fact that Rogue ships their Rhino belt squat which weighs 530Lbs for only $150 to NJ. So I don’t know why the heck Sorniex is changing so much. The unit only weighs less than 80 lbs. I emailed Sorniex but they haven’t responded about the shipping. What do you think ? By the way how much does the Free Standing j squat weigh ?
I've played with landmine hacks for belt squats and they don't feel very good considering this one you use. I saw on their site it says 60% feel weight so I'd need 500lbs to feel like 300lb. In this video you talk about 400lb feel weight I'd like to know how much weight do you put on to feel 400lbs. I see other similar designs that claim up to 90% feel weight so I think Sorinex made a mistake with the 60% or want to undersell for legal reasons.
This is something I need to look at for my basement gym! Need one of these. Gotta save my pennies though at 1100, but I am sure it will be a great add on for my home gym.
Can you go full depth? I have the rep v2 5000 power rack and I watched coop from garage gym reviews on there hip belt squat attachment he said you can't go full depth. I want to invest in a hip belt squat attachment I haven't done back squats in weeks because my back has been bothering me.
Lol i can. But easy enough to stand on a block if need be. Also you can set it up with less chain but then you’re starting from bottom. Some blocks are easy.
Have you measured this to see how it compares to say the rogue belt squat? If this is a 1:1 ratio as in you toss 100 lbs on it your lifting 100 pounds throughout the whole rom I will definitely buy this over the rogue rhino. The foot print is crazy small in comparison to other belt squat systems. Thanks for the video.
I said in the video about this. I’m not putting a scale on it, but 405 feels about the right effort. But beside you don’t have to stabilize you can do more reps. Like smith machine
@@NathanSweet I ended up getting the squat max md. I tried something similar to this but it was from the fabricator that CanditoHD got his from I think(even more compact than the sorinex) and tried the rhino at a buddies gym and it does the job, but it just takes up too much space. The squatmax is brutal though in comparison, doing widowmakers on it made me unable to walk for a couple of days.
@@gagehassan8885 Nice! I haven't bought yet but I'm considering everything (Jsquat, Titan, Squatmax, Rhino, Edge Fitness). I'd get the Rhino if I had space, but I don't, so it looks like Jsquat is best for me. Squatmax looks good and I like that it's 1:1 and straight down, but I don't think I'd like stacking plates vertically in a hole.
What is the name of this equipment, what is the manufacturer's brand?! This video is incomplete. You don't film the equipment properly, are the videos about training or the beauty of your face?
What belt squat belt do you use? Mine hurts and thinking about Spud Inc Pillow Belt.
I use the Sorinex belt squat
Thank you sir , I’m going to look into this been doing mine with land mine . Like your set up much better.

Thanks man trying to step it all up
I love the ranting of standard gym nonsense
I don’t have load it up w a million plates of bullshit lol nailed it
Dude that’s huge for me. I don’t want to carry all the bullshit.
thank you sir I was planing on buying the J squat attachment but I wanted to know if you can put band on this just as the pit shark.
So far no. But i am going to make a change or two for that at my setup
@@matthewpvincent Thank you Man for replying. Great video

Matt, have you used a wenning belt squat? If so is this comparable?
I have it’s a great tool. I think feels very accurate resistance to the barbell.
@@matthewpvincent thank you for the quick response. Contemplating which one to purchase for my home gym.
Hey,
Is yours bolted to the floor or do you just keep a few plates on there?
I was wondering the same thing. I wanna buy this, but I can’t bolt it, so I’m in limbo until I can find out if it’s *really* necessary to bolt it
Stephen L I Have the same question? I wish someone would answer the question. I can’t bolt it down either.
Where can I get a squat belt like yours that has those extensions where the rings hang down lower and away the crotch area? Thanks!
Spud ink

Matthew, you are looking really trim and fighting lean. Inspiring, my friend! Thank you for allowing us to share the journey
Thanks brother hope all is great
Thanks for the video 💪. Is your machine bolted down? I can’t bolt it down in my apartment. Others would like to know also. Thanks
Yeah bolted down you can put enough weight on it to make it not move but boot is better

Where can i find the exact set up you have there on the sorinex website
It’s not built like that on their site. I have put it together
If i use like 6 inch platforms under my feet would i be able to get a bit deeper squat or is there any part of the machine that would get in the way?
It would be fine
Matt I know this is a super
Old video but. Would this work on 5/8 hole spacing?
Whered you get those wedges? Are they the same from Lowe's?
I got them from amazon

I will be at new facility . But currently it isn’t and works fine

Get some

Agree with squat max you need to buy weight and leave it on or at least 60-70% of what you'd use to save time.@@NathanSweet
