Not just for WWE wrestlers, but for anyone who plays professional sports and even actors/musicians (and loads of idiots who win the lottery and are broke in 10 years or less), they are stupid for living a lifestyle like that money is going to come EVERY year. It's finite and ends sooner than later. Live a more moderate lifestyle and bank/invest as much as you can. Especially football and basketball players who get full scholarships to college and have FREE education at their fingertips (though now a days most of these players aren't spending all 4 years in college, but still), take classes in sports/business management and finance so you know how to manage your money and then you won't have to give 20-30% of your earnings to an agent or business manager (and how many times has a pro player been robbed blind by their business manager?).
Yeah, he wasn't nearly as bad as the other three in the ring (Undertaker, Triple H, and Michaels) but he certainly wasn't much better to say the least.
The way his career ended was so bad though. He should’ve been on the level as the undertaker as far as treatment but he was turned into a joke and didn’t protect his character.
Undertaker's final match with AJ Styles was the perfect match for him to retire. he can still be a part of the WWE though just not as an active wrestler. I would however like to see "The Big Red Machine" Kane in one last match.
I just hope they keep it that way with sporadic appearance like WM40 and such. If Vince was still running the show, Undertaker wouldn't said no and God knows what could've happened.

And you could tell how obviously Sting was protecting him through the whole thing, including an embarrassing attempt at a Scorpion Death Lock. Hogan's back was so screwed at that point, it was impossible to put on a high quality show.

Kane past his prime was actually not bad. His new character change was the problem.
