Give us Siri steering from the iPhone and watch. Make warming the car easier without face recognition and extra 2 clicks. Let us choose Ionity as preferred loading station in the app. Let us use drive recorder when the car is parked. Profiles cannot be connected to car keys after 7-21 and first adopters are coldgating because preconditioning the battery is not possible yet. Else: good work, Munich! Regards from Norway!

Remote access to the cars cameras would be an excellent addition
Now, if only it had a contemporary approach to authentication so that every time it was updated (silently) you weren't redirected to the website to authenticate and then have to set a pin - shocking UX
One thing I miss from the old BMW Connected app and iDrive 6 was the ability to share trip details with contacts. I hope that eventually makes a return in the new app and iDrive 7/8!
Please bring back the total electric distance traveled feature! We want to know total we traveled how far per charge. This feature is useful for phev owners which is available from the previous bmw connected app instead

@@reddevilkev Yup, attention to details. While I’m out I always check the app periodically. When I’m home it’s garaged and I still check. With the chip shortage every car is at risk.

the application is quite handicapped in terms of functionality. Compared to the Skoda application, it is a bit lacking.

You should add turn on your car from your phone
Let US PHEV users change the charging voltage restriction via APP. Too many times I'll forget it to the "low" state (for my household socket) even while I'm charging from a "full potential" charger station. Now you can only change it in the car.

I have the app for my X5 but every time I tried to used the ventilation function, it comes up with an error? Called BMW Australia and they said everything is fine on their end when they check my account and it should be working, but it’s not???

@@BMW thanks I did and they suggested could be insufficient battery charge even though I drive my car 3 times a week.
Check your settings in remote start. You have to activate climate/ventilation function. Hope this helps.

It's a pretty poor app. Doesn't even provide information on consumption, which would be basic info for someone who buys a plug-in hybrid or electric. Well, the onboard computer in my g21 330e doesn't show much and the graph is pretty confusing anyway so... Yeah, work harder on that BMW and less on stupid useless selfie modes
