Hi BMW. Can you advise if this will be added to existing orders? I'm waiting on a UK order (another 9 months) for an M240i and if they change to this, I will cancel the order. Don't like that one bit!
I'm in a similar situation: I ordered an M240 before knowing about the arrival of the new Dashboard. Apparently Idrive 8 will be standard for cars produced after July 2022, so probably if you have 9 months ahead of you, you will get it like this... I'm considering cancellation as well.

Yesterday, my 2020 X5, while parking itself, plowed into a bike rack it failed to proximity sense and put a sinking-feeling, permanent scuff on my beautiful white bumper. Unlikely to trust it to park my X5 ever again.
Same thing happened to my 2024X7, and BMW executive customer care just simply says driver should take control and BMW doesn’t assume any responsibility. This is ridiculous
Hello, the video subtitles aren't perfect. At 1:41, it also shows the number "15", which could be the line number and the duration of the subtitle (00:01:55,000 to 00:02:00,000). If possible, can it be corrected?
2 steps forward 3 steps back removing physical buttons is never the right move and moving the adaptive cruise control buttons into the main screen was the dumbest thing ever making it less intuitive

Why would it park forwards if it can park backwards? You have much more control reverse parking

Between vehicles. The system does not recognise the lines, unfortunately.
It works between cars and lines and curbs

If you added the 'Parking Assistant Plus' option to your car , then yes ;)
