Happy New Year everyone! I didn't think I'd be able to find another three clays from Japan but I managed to get some interesting ones here. I really liked the pottery clay as it was the first time I saw those as part of a kit. But I was disappointed that it arrived almost dried up so I couldn't do as much as I'd hoped with it. The Guummy clay was also very interesting to make and the recipe is completely foolproof. It would have blown up 5 years on UA-cam when everyone was into slime. The final tapioca clay looks nice and glossy but has a slightly frustrating, chewing gum-like texture. It also reminds me a bit of the edible "clay" you get in Popin Cookin kits.

These are not affiliate links as I don't have an account with Amazon Japan. As a very rough estimate of the price, I always take off the last two digits in yen to get the equivalent in dollars (eg 400yen = $4, although it's usually slightly less than that $3).

Joanna in 2023: This next clay kit uses star matter as a base. This kit is really fun, but considering each piece has the mass of a thousand suns, it may be too heavy for young children to lift
You should try making slime with these rare clays. It would be fun to see how they turn out
Yeah 👍
Thats what thought😅
You’re definitely a comfort channel for me. I’ve been watching since I was 13 and you still make me so happy to watch
it's been so long since i've watched her, but i think i was just about that age when i started watching her too!!! i was definitely in middle school lol. i just stumbled upon this today and im mad i never stayed caught up 😂😂❤
same i've watched on and off for years! fell in love with the dollhouse videos originally
You can revive dry pottery clay by letting it fully dry then running it through a sieve, then slowly adding water and mixing until you get workable clay again :)
Ohh that makes sense
Every time I see another random Japanese clay review, I legitimately get kinda excited.
im wondering if the ceramic clay can be usable again if way way (WAY) more water is added and massaged in
Hello! Today we’re playing a game of: Does it look edible, and would I eat it?
Ceramic:
Looks Edible ✅
I would eat it ✅
Slime clay:
Does not look very edible ❌
I would still eat it though ✅
Tapioca Clay:
Looks like stretchy candy (Edible) ✅
Would eat it ✅
Thanks for reading.
moral of the story, everything gets eaten. Nothing is wasted
I'm so glad to hear that you'll still be making long-form videos! I recently unfollowed multiple slime channels because they only do shorts now. I'll keep my eyes open for your long-form videos and will be sure to watch them!
It’s always so interesting to see all the different types of clay! Anytime you introduce the next product, it fills me with such wonder 🤩 the feeling reminds me of the time I purchased cork clay from Daiso - another strange clay that I’ve only ever seen at that store
hi pink slime
So glad you'll still be posting videos! I'm not a huge fan of content creators shifting to only shorts :c it's understandable though, but I really love your videos and will always look forward to you posting whether it be videos or shorts! Thank you for all the content over the years, Happy New Year Joanna!!
in ceramics class, I learned that you can soften the ceramic clay by wetting it, and then leaving it alone or wrapping it up. kneading it with your hands dries it up
i really love your clay reviews! please keep posting more of them asap
Thank you for your content last year and I hope to see your creations this new year
15 years old and these clay videos are one of the most entertaining thing on UA-cam to me
I love these clay reviews, happy to see another one! ♥️
Another clay video! I love when you do these, since these types of clay videos are so nostalgic! Reminds me of the early days of your channel!
Yay! I love your videos maquaroon, it’s really cool to see the different kinds of clay stuff, and all the adorable creations you make! ❤❤
Happy 2023! It is always satisficing to watch your videos!
Everything you make is so cute >3
I was very exited for this, not dissapointed!❤
I only found your channel a few days ago and I was watching those previous videos of the different clays from Japan this morning and was thinking that I’d love to see more 😅
I love your videos and voice! Wished you posted more often ❤
Thank you for your content☺
i always get excited seeing your videos in my feed!!! ❤❤❤❤
I absolutely love your soothing voice!😊
I love adding hearty clay to slime and making butter slime!!!
Happy New Year, Joanne 🎉 ✨️ 🧨🎊🥂💖XX
You need blue to make black. Red and green together just make brown, and you added more brown to that. It probably still would have just ended up gray though, so the paint was probably the best course from the start.
agree :)
I love your voice It’s so soothing and soft
Please try this idea
DIY glittery and sparkly ruler ❤😊😊
I've been waiting for a part three
Hi Joanna, happy 2023!
May I know which App do you use to instantly translate from japanese?
Tnx a lot, and I really like your videos! ^^
With pottery clay you can add water and mix to make it softer!
The first clay is such a forbidden snack. You're banging it on the table and I'm still like. Yum. It looks like a giant biscuit, in the pastry sense. Or like pumpkin bread! Edit: And then a forbidden slushee???
As someone who has very sensitive skin and is almost allergic to everything, I do appreciate the comment on the last clay! That’s the main thing that concerns me about wanting to touch them 😅
not sure how packed your work schedule is, but i’d love to see more pokemon diys!! or maybe sanrio :D
I love the Cute slime blob
maybe with the tapioca clay its meant to be played w flour? since thats what youd need to make actual tapioca. maybe then it wouldnt be so sticky :)
Woww! 15 minutes ago! I was waiting for the next video!
Woah they are awesome
I make sculptures from ceramic clay that’s cool you should put the dry clay in the water for a hour
Please make sanrio sock plushiess!

I do handmade jewelry, but I love your videos too because also handmade good idea 👍❤️😘🥰👏
Try drying the slime clay in a mold!
I have actually played with tapioca clay it’s very unique 100 recommend
maybe someone already said this, but the box for the tapioca clay actually says "tapioca slime"!
You can make black with brown and blue
So cute💖
Soooo cool!😄😄😄😄
4:31 'then you have a mystery white powder'
- Maqaroon
Yep saw this video very soon
I already knew about these
Why not try adding slime activator to the clear packet on the slime clay set? If it's really PVA it should come together like a normal slime and your theory would be right XD
when we find ceramic clay that is old, you have to keep the clay in warm water for 24 hours. please try this next time
“White powder”
