The graphite putty is water soluble, so if you knead water into it, it'll soften up, similar to a kneaded eraser.

I'm curious about what will happen if you add some activator to the soap slime - that would confirm if it's PVA or not, of course (which I do wonder if that would eventually negatively affect plumbing?), but knowing what the final texture is like could be interesting too.
