The P7 is such an amazing gun. Totally classic. They have become so collectible and the prices are unbelievable lately. I'm a huge HK fan but still don't have a P7 yet.
I have owned a P7M8 several years ago, and I sold it for 800 dollars and regretted it since then. I have been looking for one, and finally found one at a local firearms show. I gave a pretty penny for it, but I’m glad I have one back in my HK collection. A lot of people think they’re pretty weird, but I think she’s a beautiful piece of German engineering. I guess the old saying is true. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder 😊
I just bought two P7M8s and ordered a Milt Sparks holster. I just HAD to have them and they were well below current market value. I won’t lose money on either for sure- but they were expensive.
I have one that was a NJ State Police trade in. So it has a mill mark to remove the PD embleme and that bronze patina. Because it was an armory trade in, I was able to pay for it back in the early 2000 late 1990 time frame (I don't exactly remember). It's the most accurate 9mm I've ever shot. First time out, the front sight insert popped out, so I had night sights installed.
Traded in a kimber .22 and a old mint colt frontier also .22 and $400 to get a like new PSP. Not sure i got a good deal but it’s a mechanically crisp, precision fit, functionally unique. all steel, accurate, fixed barrel German made gun. Its a forever keeper. Price risen since then....
I remember looking in my dads "Gun Bible" back in the early '90s and thinking they were really really cool. I know they would still be expensive, but I'm surprised no one has made a copy of it.
The P7M13 was used in Diehard by Hans Gruber, and Brigette Nielsen in Beverly Hills Cop 2; a bad guy gun...lol! www.imfdb.org/wiki/Heckler_%26_Koch_P7_pistol_series That link is a great source for firearms in movies.
I know the feeling. I had Colt King Cobras and Pythons back in the early 00's that costed a normal price. Today its insane what they bring. Especially the King Cobra as I remember mine was honestly nothing "that special". I think the 686 was actually a better wheelie but... I guess its that supply and demand thing.
Oh, boy! One of my all time, favorite UA-camrs; showcasing one of my all time, favorite handguns!
thanks man

North of $2000 on gbroker . . .
I honestly cannot believe how much they are going for. Its nuts but hey... I'm not complaining but I would never buy one at 2k.
TheOl1911 You’re a lucky man to have one. Love the channel. You do a great job.
@@TheOl1911 They weren’t cheap new either.
@@TheOl1911I'd snap one up for 2k in a heartbeat.

Finest concealed carry, safe and reliable weapon I have ever owned. “Squeeze Cocker” is a common name other than HKP7M8.
Thanks for this review... Never really warmed up to this one though!
Thanks as always!
It appears your HK P7 looks like it has a different finish? Especially the white lettering. It looks great but different than mine
Cool pistol thanks for sharing it with us. I have seen one or two for sale on armslist for stupid money.
its nuts how much they fetch... reminds me of the Colt Pythons/King Cobras. Nuts how much they can go for
Love that gun doesn't seem to be much recoil. Really different thanks for sharing.
recoil is nothing... very easy to control
