Bekka is an amazingly talented chip off the old block .. daughter of Bonnie & Delaney Bramlett! She does a fresh different blues take on the American era of Fleetwood Mac songs . Back to original English blues FM roots !
bekka is a masterful vocalist...paid dues with delbert mcclinton on the cruise..vince gill.. faith hill...can't imagine a fool dogging her..proud to been there on the cruises...
I just found out Bekka, who sounds fantastic and also sounds a lot and I mean A LOT like her mother Bonnie... ....and that's a goooood thing, sang with Mick Fleetwood and an in an incarnation of Fleetwood Mac. I Don't know how Bekka has stayed so low key.with that voice. Listen to her sing some other non Fleetwood Mac and you'll get a better idea how she fits so nicely in the music world. Hope all's well with her and her family... Yes that's you Bonnie ❤️👍
I agree w Stevie . With these songs , this version just is strange . They should have done all original songs w this group. I can’t even imagine this singer doing dreams , Gypsy, or Rhiannon. I would be inclined to leave the venue. Like well this isn’t right
I think Stevie Nicks was a bit jealous of Bekka, who could literally sing the phone book. Her contributions to Mick Fleetwood’s “Shakin’ The Cage” were smokin’ hot. Bekka didn’t need to wear flared outfits and twirl around. She just needed to step up to the mic and kick ass
No one can replace Stevie nicks. Or Linda. I think if you going to sing other people's songs at least keep it original as possible. She really spoiled the authenticity of this song. 😢 There is no soul in this version. It's just noise and a show off
It's a shame that her being in Fleetwood Mac comes with her being compared....because she did her job here spectacularly. And stepping into this role was courageous to say the least.
Sometimes people notice greatness only when it´s not there and replaced by someone else. I am talking about Dave Mason playing the guitar here and what is missing is LB - now everyone understand the importance and genious of Lindsey Buckinghams! Mason plays ordinary blues licks not caring about the original song idea so much. He is good but not Lindsey level, expecially when it comes to arranging music, hearing what the song needs of the guitar and respecting the song. Bekka sings surprisingly well, and deserves the applause. This is her replacing Christine McVie, not Nicks, as this song is sang by McVie. Of course she aint the perfect solution for replacing Nicks either because her voice is different, but in alternative universe this could be a band, a little different and she could be a real frontwoman.
FM songs in no way complimented Bekka’s beautiful dirty soulful voice. She’s got one of most soulful voices I’ve ever heard and you can’t even tell in this type of pop rock music. Where was Christine? This was her song. So the only og’s in this were John & Mick?
If the guitarist turned down just a bit, he might be able to hear and be able to play in time with the rest of the band rather than rushing every beat.
Singers like Bekka are a dime a dozen. Hell, our local female singers all sound like this and there are many of them. But smooth soulful Christine McVie vocals are rare. You don't realize just how beautiful her voice is until someone "oversings" her songs.
If you want to dig Christine, Stevie or Lindsay are not original members. Fleetwood Mac is a very complex band with a complex history. With Dave Mason and Bob Welch had a Fleetwood Me a hot song. Before Lindsay and Stevie.

This was during a time when Mick Fleetwood 1995-96 was almost flat broke. He slapped together a band, pumped out an album "Time" and quickly went out on a disaster of a tour. Lucky enough to get Buckingham, McVie and Nicks back in 1997 for The Dance album and tour.
Watching her movements reminds me of Hansen the guy who replaced Lou Gramm of Foreigner. Not saying they arent good singers....they just arent good enough to replace the originals. Take journey for instance...they found their Pot of Gold with Arnel Pineda who replaced Steve Perry. He has the right energy, voice and attitude for Journey.
@@mauriceortiz8817 I gotta agree with ya bro. I KNOW they rehearsed before they went out and played live so why didn’t someone stop this from happening? After the first rehearsal they should have known it wasn’t gonna work. And that guitar? I’ve never heard a guitarist play licks that were “annoying” lol. Just awful…what a mistake that was.
She is actually singing Christine Mcvies song part there, not Stevies. Can't compare her to Stevie here. She made the song sound like a country song. Not bad, but no where near as ...you know the rest
It's unrecognizable as the Mac. Stevie Nicks was right - Bekka oversings. And listening to Dave Mason labour through every lick in Blues Rock Guitar 101, and out of tune too, I've never missed Lindsey Buckingham more.
I'm sorry but there is a purpose for a closet and it's to hand shit up. Kinda like journey w/o Steve Perry. Bekka has her own thing, but to step into Stevie's boots ( w/all that fun stashed in em! Lol) never ever gonna happen.
Nope! Check out Rumours of Fleetwood Mac vocalist Jess Harwood. This girl has no equal. Mick Fleetwood knows of this girl so it is hard to imagine why she was not courted for his band... Bekka is an otherwise good but ordinary singer but nothing special for the Mac lineup.....
This song was not meant to be over sung That's why Christie did it so well She was low key This singer seems like she's trying too hard to impress the crowd
They went flat before Bekka started. Whata ya do with that as a singer, but try to push a lil harder. Ya can tell she's got chops, but we're also use to Mcvies simple straight forward approach with no night clubby twists. I can see why Nick's said Bekka over sings, cause that's exactly what's she's doing here.
Dave Mason was absolutely horrible on this. He really sounded like an amateur. I like Bekka’s take on the song, but they sound like a lame cover band in a bar.
dave mason LEGEND! & billy burnette a pro. bekka can SING and best tambourine technique. this is a sad take, too bad. I woulda liked to have attended a show.

Just why isn't Bekka a household name, she is one of the most soulful rock singers anywhere. Fab Lady!!
Love her with Joe Cocker
The lady can sure sing but she's totally the wrong style and vibe for Fleetwood Mac.
She doesn't fit.
I like her much more then Stevie.
I've always liked Christie the most. But Bekka DOES oversing. They were fortunate to have her fill in though
Wish Bekka would come out with an album... we've been waiting years! What a voice.
Stevie Nicks said she oversang. Nowadays, seems like everyone sounds like Bekka. I would say Bekka was ahead of her time. She is a great vocalist.
I agree with that.. sounds horrible

the song she is singing here is/was CHRISTINE McVies Song Lyrics. NOT Stevies. Can't compare her to Stevie there.@@jerviejervie2204
for sure she's a wonderful singer....
This obviously is not Fleetwood Mac, but it's a smoking band. I actually enjoyed their take on this song.

Not so! It's a wonderful live version.
Hi. It is indeed Fleetwood Mac! Bekka, Billy Burnette, Dave Mason, John McVie and Mick Fleetwood. Some chap sitting in in keys.
bekka sang with Johnny Lang.great voice.
I actually dig this version. I know there’s the…but it’s not FM thing. No kidding…not as we know it. But this rendition cooks!
She reminds me of her mother.
She's a phenomenal singer!! ♥️ 💫
She brings the band back to blues roots rather than pop. Different style from McVie for sure. I'll bet in her own element, she is awesome
It's a shame that her being in Fleetwood Mac comes with her being compared....because she did her job here spectacularly. And stepping into this role was courageous to say the least.
Tal cual. Fue un papel difícil y lo hizo tremendamente bien.
Hizo suya las canciones ❤ y le salieron increíbles!!!
Lets face it nicks sings flat
She is excellent

I think she sings better than the other Women that have been in that band.
Bekka es tremenda 🔥❤️🔥

I wish that she would rejoin fleetwood mac
Should of called themselves ‘Fleetwood & Friends’ or something. I doubt John would have minded
No way...what was Fleetwood Mac thinking
She's great for what she does, and I'm a big fan of her mom, Bonnie Bramlett, of Delaney and Bonnie, but this was a tough moment for Fleetwood Mack.
That would have happened regardless of this shitshow. It just damaged the brand.
Some how, I don't think her sound is quite coinside ing with the true sound. Sorry 😐

Dave Mason is horribly out of tune!
So is she ...
@@BradleyRath I disagree. I think she sounds amazing.
To each their own ...
Sounds like a badly rehearsed bar band

le echa mucha crema, nunca entendio lo que era Fleetwood Mac
it took so much years for me to appreciate that band, here in this video the singer Bekka been only one year +/- with the band....
Great. Guitar mixed too high but nice
My first thought. Way too overbearing
@@rogerboorman7639 ....and all over the place..... The wrong place 🤪
It sounds like it's taken straight from the monitor mixing desk.
Christine McVie had such a smooth voice. It reminded me of a flute. This is too much and doesn’t do the song justice
Fleetwood Mac without Christie mcvie Lindsay Buckingham and Stevie Nick's is just a cover band.
If your a fan of Fleetwood Mac, You can't complain about the quality of this band ua-cam.com/video/TYcsinwKWME/v-deo.htmlsi=niaxuu8v35csxwEJ
where’s christine?

Vibes not the same without Nicks voice … like a cover song 😵💫😵💫
Nicks doesn't sing this song.
This is a McVie song... and she sings it very well.
It's unrecognizable as the Mac. Stevie Nicks was right - Bekka oversings. And listening to Dave Mason labour through every lick in Blues Rock Guitar 101, and out of tune too, I've never missed Lindsey Buckingham more.
LOL the Dave Mason comment got me. Hella true. Not what I expected from Dave, he’s usually killer.
Exactly, big mistake calling it Fleetwood Mac
Bekka is a much better singer than Stevie.
Five times the vocalist than Nicks. Christine McVie was a much better musician period. Bekka Bramlet came from music royalty and it shows.
Nopa
I'm sorry but there is a purpose for a closet and it's to hand shit up. Kinda like journey w/o Steve Perry. Bekka has her own thing, but to step into Stevie's boots ( w/all that fun stashed in em! Lol) never ever gonna happen.

Yeah, oversinging IMHO; just as Nicks characterized her. I miss McVie's smoky smooth take.
Another low point for FM.
Is this a cover band?
Yes for sure over singing
Dave Mason was absolutely horrible on this. He really sounded like an amateur.
I like Bekka’s take on the song, but they sound like a lame cover band in a bar.
Like you're better..🤣🤣🤣
Weird version of mac
dave mason LEGEND! & billy burnette a pro. bekka can SING and best tambourine technique. this is a sad take, too bad. I woulda liked to have attended a show.
Maybe they'd be better playing other music
Sad Fleetwood Mac cover band. "Thanks for coming in. We'll call you if we need to."
The guitarist is horriblely over-playing.
Better than Nicks
What planet do you live on??!!
Wow he really said better then Nick's?? Not hardly
Wait let me put my earplugs in maybe if she had her own song she might be good but to me she ruined this one
You're right. Much better. I liked the Real FM with Peter Green..
I agree. Nicks is quite overrated as a singer. She had the twirling, charismatic witchy thing down to a T but she’s not even good at that anymore
Hermosa linda simpatica y una gran cantante igual que su madre , que alegria a la vida .
I thought it was a coverband back then and I still think so
Ummm ... No.
I feel like I'm watching karaoke. You can't just replace Stevie Nicks or Christie McVie
Horrible. Some things just shouldn’t be touched. This isn’t Fleetwood Mac.
This s just awful! I love Bekka on Winds of Change.... but this, please stop.
Her voice wasn't a good fit for Fletwood Mac
Love Bekka, but she just didn’t have the mellowness needed for this group.
Nah, way over the top.
She could not sing her way out of a wet paper sack
