- My patients are now asking me questions about who is getting sick after their COVID vaccine. We know that breakthrough infections occur but who is ending up in the hospital or dying while fully vaccinated? Stats are not available currently on the CDC website or elsewhere that I’ve seen. I discuss a recent study published in the Lancet which is peer-reviewed to give you an idea of who is getting sick after their COVID vaccine.

I am a consultant in Internal Medicine with special medical interests in gastroenterology, cardiology, and echocardiography. I am a a full-time practising physician in these areas. I was an undergraduate at the University of Toronto, Trinity College where I received a number of scholarships including one for top student at Trinity College. I attended medical school at the University of Toronto graduating with a gold medal. My internship was completed at McMaster University in Hamilton followed by a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Western Ontario in London. I then completed a fellowship in General Internal Medicine at the University of Western Ontario. I am an active echocardiographer who has been certified and recertified by the National Board of Echocardiography. I am certified in cardiac sonography and have trained and completely educated a number of cardiac sonographers. I am the medical director of my cardiology laboratory which was established in 2001. My laboratory performs echocardiography and stress echocardiography amongst other tests. I maintain my certification in the American Board of Internal Medicine. Who dies fully vaccinated? Colin Powell. I find it interesting how people dying of terminal illness
are listed as covid even though they didn't have it. I guess those hospital payouts for covid deaths

I would like to know what the number of deaths are or hospitalizations for people who have survived COVID and have natural immunity and have been reinfected. I find it extremely disturbing that no one talks of natural / herd immunity whatsoever because there is no money in natural immunity.
The CDC just released the results of a study that shows natural immunity (unvaccinated people who have had Covid and recovered) are significantly more likely to get Covid compared to vaccinated people. This proves that the vaccines protect people more than natural immunity.

Honey everything we put in our bodies can have a side effect. Aspirin can cause ,an upset stomach. Everyone i know,myself included,had no side effects. Wanna know the side effects of Covid?

Here in the Philippines, number of casualties who are fully vaccinated were never reported in the open, even in the daily updates from government daily data report. We in the community level are very much aware of what's happening within surrounding.
If the goal is to get it into as many people as possible in order to stop this, why aren’t poor countries being vaccinated?
Seems like it’s only important to vaccinate countries who can pay for the vaccine that matter. That isn’t going to stop anything, which makes one wonder…. why are we doing this?
Because a different part of the population will start complaining that they should get the vaccine first.
The reason is lobbyists. Governments should be issuing emergency patent waivers, but won't, because they would lose campaign donations.

That's similar to the carbon based climate change -the real problem are countries like China and India. With China and India still building or supporting coal-fired power plants makes it pointless for small countries that barely contribute to atmospheric carbon to do anything other than for show.
I've heard that the number of hospitalizations is skewed by as much as half. Many people go to the emergency for something completely unrelated, such as a broken arm, and they happen to test positive for covid so they are counted.
Report says 20%, which is less than 1/2.

Ive been a medical researcher since 1978. I raised beautiful, super healthy kids with zero vaccines. They never had to go to an MD or hospital, ever.
You're aware that the CDC stopped recording break-through infections back in May, right? Why do you think they did this?
It was done to again skew the data being presented to the public, making it appear that the vaccines were doing a fantastic job when in reality it's the double jabbed people who are repeatedly catching the Virus.

That's something that really grates on me, why double jabbed people get away with not having to take LFTs when we all know that the injectable therapeutics do not prevent transmission. @@guy000001 yes it is true information. Death and morbidity report on may 27 I believe from memory. The CDC report states as of the end of April that breakthrough were no longer going to be tracked. I’ve been calling this one out for months. It’s buried a bit but it is there.
Also, the Red Cross quit letting its blood donors know if they have Covid 19 antibodies after they donate. After donating in April I was told I tested positive for antibodies. Again 2 months later. The 3rd time, they said they're not giving out that information anymore. Why?
Why don't you tell the "Real" numbers on people who died of covid and people who died with covid. The actual death rate is much, much lower for total population

They are. If you die of COVID-19 in the hospital, the hospital gets $50,000 per bed per patient who dies of Covid. If doctors cannot find a cause of death they are being pressured to put down Covid as a cause. Doesn’t sound like a very honest process to me. Just one man’s opinion.
The death rate per 100,000 is similar in 2020 and 2021 going alll the way back to 1960...I am ALOT more worried about plastics in our oceans and landfills than I am of a corona v.i.r.u.s.

Strangely, no matter what, if you tested positive for covid 19, whatever your other condition or injury was, you were always listed as corona dead when you died.

Interesting observation about "vaccine equity" and rich countries having access to vaccines while poor countries do not. On the other hand there is no "equity" discussion about poor countries having access to HCQ and Ivermectin while rich countries do not. Is "vaccine equity" more a matter of which countries generate the most profit since poor countries are always provided meds at huge discounts?
Which countries have the workforce to produce the materials needed to make vaccines? Which countries are exporting the component parts of the vaccines? What would happen if these factories closed down due to lack of manpower?
Apparently research in South Africa said that only 20% are jabbed, but numbers of "cases" are going down.
Look at Israel (whose data the CDC are ignoring) 90% fully jabbed (and are now going towards their 4th jab) make up 85% of hospitalisations!
As a matter of fact India produced and provided millions of free vaccines to many poor countries in 2020 itself. How did the western world react to it?

So what if those vaccines already helped many poor nations, so what if those vaccines already been given to 100 crore+ Indians (yes a world record!) with an efficacy rate of > 90%, yet in some way WHO is not happy!

Only India has so far given millions of its own vaccines free to poorer countries but much of the west n China actually criticized India for that! India is also leading efforts to lift IP (intellectual property) rights for covid vaccines to make them accessible and cheaper. But rest of the world is not yet supporting! I live in Argentina. 50% of the people got vaccinated with Sputnik. The use of antibiotics like Azytromycin for covid is widespread here. Even though we vaccinated late, we get like 5 deaths per day. Barely noticeable.

"this speaks to the success of the vaccines" - well Doc, given that you can get 2 shots and still be considered unvaccinated, I would say those stats are bogus. I would also say that counting deaths "with" vs "from" covid would have greatly reduced the numbers we were told pre vaccine as well as test kits being recalled because of false positives, is also a consideration. I am also told that negative effects of the vaccine are being severely under reported so there is that. All in all, I can agree with this assessment.

The shots are not good for old people with decreasing imunnue system, shots speed this up, leaving the patient open to infection, and ADE, YOUR CHOICE.
Dr. Moral did not say that people who had two shots were considered unvaccinated - he said they were not considered fully vaccinated if their second vaccination had taken place less than 14 days previously. This is because it takes 14 days for the vaccine to get a good grip.
I personally know 10x more with adverse vaccine reaction, then I know who have had COVID. If you include all the associates, that number goes up 4 times.
Same, my aunt died..never had heart issues. My mother is not doing well, she had all her labs done and heart checked before she retired. She gets both shots and has all these issues. I told her to do a d dimer test, the labs refuses to. Her doctor ordered a CV blood test and those numbers were very high. She is being put on a heart monitor. She WAS totally fine before moderna!!!
Same here. I now know two people who’ve died of heart complications, one person with recurring ocular occlusion, a woman whose kidneys shut down and two males with severe testicular pain since their shots. Still don’t know one person to be hospitalized with the disease. I’m not trying to be that guy, but it just makes me wonder…

I think it would be helpful to know the vitamin D contents of these patients. Vitamin D is well recognized as an immunomodulatory hormone. However bc it offers no financial incentive, is often ignored or downplayed, IMO.
one study as far i understand that only looked peoples skin color and determinated that those "who" should have bigger amount of d vitamin by "the color". According to this study now no importance of d vitamin is down played. No one has never said that taking d vitamin can save you, but if you have low level (determinated only by blood test) you are more likely to end up in hospital. My bf is dark and didnt take d vitamin at all, me totally white took d vitamin all winter. His blood test- dangerly low d vitamin, me really good level of vitamin D.
@@mrsmerily Actually there are numerous studies that show a strong correlation of vitamin D deficiency and C-19 symptom severity. For intervention studies, Castillo et al 2020 and Nogues et al 2021 demonstrated that people who were given calcifediol (a fast acting metabolite of vitamin D) upon admission to hospital had much less chance of a ICU visitation and death.
If you have C-19 then it’s a race against time so that’s why calcifediol is to be administered ASAP. Prior to getting C-19 however, having elevated vitamin D levels affords one the same protection of modulating the immune system and thereby reducing C-19 symptom severity. So keep on taking the supplements (5,000 IU/d) and get your boyfriend to wise up!
Conventional vitamin D supplements take a few weeks to produce the therapeutic internal hormone whereas calcifediol takes only hours to produce the same therapeutic hormone. Hence why using it in a hospital setting is so advantageous and necessary.

Please pray for me I’m losing my faith! Recently I was fired for not getting the vaccine I was worried about side effects. I have lupus and been struggling for years with all my meds, aches and pains. I’m a single mother with two autistic boys now with no income. We are running low on food and daily necessities. I feel so alone, and embarrassed.

Vitamin D helps for both, your lupus and most likely against COVID-19. Take minimum 4k which is the upper limit but 10k are scientifically safe as well according to several guidelines. God bless

Natural Justice, if someone die with in 24-48 hours they have to compensate, otherwise no Govt has no moral right to ask for vaccination and relating it to job. We have to fight in this legal point not religion etc etc. If govt agree, we can go for vaccination otherwise no need. If Govt knows that many deaths immediately after vaccination and says it will happen , what nonsense? Supreme Court cannot deny this right in a democratic framework. we have 3 guys out with covid right now at my work...they are all vaccinated. The other guys (unvaccinated) are working double shifts to cover for them.
I know two people who are nurses, both of them fully vaccinated and got deathly ill. Ironically, they had to get antibody infusions that were donated from unvaccinated people lol. They had no antibodies. And then blamed unvaccinated people for getting sick. These are two nurses I would never trust caring for me in a hospital setting. They have a bias against unvaccinated people. I have full strong antibodies a year after getting the bioweapon virus. I spoke to a nurse at a local clinic, she told me she has no antibodies after her shots. And all of the people coming in to get tested for antibodies, none of the vaccinated people have any. It's the unvaccinated ones like me who have all the strong ones. And the director of the clinic trying to talk them into believing it's normal for vaccinated people not to have antibodies.

Dr Moran, I applaud you for the videos you post and the tremendous work you do. I’m not anti vacs and I’m very much pro science, however, would you recommend that I take a covid vaccine having previously had acute DVT’s with no medical explanation for having them ?
I'm pro science too. That's why I'm so opposed to this vaccine. Science invites discussion, debate and questions. That is taboo regarding this one.
I would be very interested to know of the hospitalized how many were Covid recovered from a previous infection. I suspect that number would be much less than even the vaccinated that were admitted.

Hi Dave Stewart, I too would love access to that data!, however I suspect it is not and will not be available!. For a start we still do not have any reliable way to tell if a person has actually been infected!, the PCR testing is completely useless!, while infected people will produce a lot of positive tests there are many more from people with only mild exposure. We do not know which is which!.
While it is entirely reasonable to assume that all those who have been infected and recovered have done so because their immune systems are working for them, vaccination on the other hand only confers immunity to people with good working immune systems, as a percentage of the whole population we cab assume that the same percentage applies to those vaccinated!, whatever that percentage is they will be still vulnerable to actual infection, therefore the number of vaccinated people that die must be higher than the number of re-infected from natural infection!. In the end it does not matter exactly what those numbers are, the logical conclusion that vaccination does little to help those with severely compromised immune systems cannot be ignored. @@richardharvey1732 I got my antibody level tested at LabCorp a couple months after having Covid. They do not want numbers to compare Covid recovered vs vaccinated because they already know natural immunity is outlasting the vaccines and providing actual immunity which the vaccines do not.
They can pretend natural immunity is not sufficient but once the vaccinated finally get Covid and then acquire actual immunity suddenly, overnight, Covid recovered immunity will be perfectly acceptable.

results when exposure to a disease organism triggers the immune system to produce antibodies to that disease. Active immunity can be acquired through natural immunity or vaccine-induced immunity.
Natural immunity is acquired from exposure to the disease organism through infection with the actual disease.

Hello. Slightly confused by your view that AZ takes several months to get to the level of their vaccine efficacy (ie reach antibody levels) as per the other two vaccines. this is good information... but not surprising in any way. What I would like to know is how the comorbidities of the un-vaccinated deaths compare to the fully vaccinated? I expect that it is very similar even down the 20% who had no covid symptoms and truly died from other causes.

David, this is the biggest published and peer-reviewed study and used the Pfizer vaccine looking at side effects in the short term.

You're asking the wrong question. What we need to know is if the Covid-19 infection survival rate in the full infected population has been SIGNIFICANTLY improved by the use of the vaccines. Everything I have seen this far in the statistics leads me to believe that the vaccines have had a less than 0.5% efficacy of improving survival.

And not that this provides any real statistical evidence, but I personally know three aged 40-somethings that had breakthrough infections of the Delta variant. Each had at least 1 comorbidity (2 fat smokers, 1 diabetic). None of them landed in the hospital or had anything other than minor symptoms. Furthermore, despite living in a very conservative rural red state, the local news here has been running story after story of local doctors stating that almost all of the hospital admissions are UNVACCINATED! In addition to this, I've been watching the death numbers from CV since the beginning. There was a strong correlation between the deployment of the vaccines and a reduction in death numbers, until the Delta variant took hold. Coincidence? Again, all across the country, doctors are reporting that almost all of the hospital admissions for Delta are UNVACCINATED. Just another mere coincidence?!?
That said, I'll consider any legitimate data - peer reviewed or not. Obviously, it will take years to gather and compile all the relevant data to determine the effectiveness of the vaccines among different segments of the population. This situation is not peculiar to the CV vaccines. It's been true of nearly every vaccine ever produced including those that have virtually eradicated diseases like Polio, measles, whooping cough (which nearly killed me as an infant), etc. So, go ahead and get up on your anti-vaxx soapbox all your want. All the preliminary data and anecdotal evidence shows the CV vaccines, though far from perfect, are still highly effective at preventing hospitalization.
Before I depart, I'll deliver a preemptive strike on what you'll surely bring up next - that "natural immunity" is better than the vax. Well no shyte Sherlock! If you survive any disease, of course you'll have better immunity than a vaccine provides, DUH! But the thing is, to acquire "natural immunity" you have to risk getting sick from the infection first, DUH! Personally, I'd rather acquire immunity that is almost just as good by just getting a little jab in the arm, rather than risk hospitalization or serious illness from "natural immunity". It's the same reason I expect restaurant employees to wash their hands after they poop, and the same reason I put my money in the bank rather than carry $10K in cash around with me in my wallet. No. Because vaccine provides some protection vs first infection, really good vs hospitalization ans death, as good as natural immunity vs second infection compared to natural immunity. While natural immunity only provides protection vs second infection, because you need to get infected first.

My fully vacinated brother died of covid on October 7th. He had arthritis and diabetes. His blood sugar was perfect the day he died. They took him off his arthritis med immediatly as it supressed his immune system. He had the Pfizer vax. He was vaxed 5 months prior and Pfizer stated at 5 months it only had 47% effectivness. My brother was only 58 years old. Its been a rough month.
This is very sad. Your brother did everything right. This is why here in NZ we are really trying to get to 90% vaccinated so there will be way less Covid circulating in the community. I’m hoping we will get to vaccinate the 5 to 12 year olds too, as it will help stop Covid circulating, because otherwise it will be easier for the virus to find an immune compromised person. People who refuse the vaccine, ensure Covid can keep spreading REALLY EASILY. That lowers the efficiency of the vaccine. In NZ our leader is really trying SO HARD to get our citizens to LISTEN. A not peer review from israel says 13x less change of reinfection with natural immunity. And a cdc study claim that vaccinated people got a 5x time less chance to get the infection that a natural immunity.

@@mattiej2311 the study from Israël is 13x less when compare from January and February of 2021 infection and the data was taken in june to august. Like 6-7 month... and if they take from march 2020 they see a real decrease in natural immunity as the 13x became a 5x.
The CDC is only check infection/re infection in the 90-180 days after vaccination or infection.
Not the same way to check. And they where 5x less frequent in the vaccinated group.
As I said, too soon to call. But both immunity decrease in time, only thing that seems sure.

The graphs, excel sheets etc served excellent info and that helped me understand the explanation better. I am really surprised to see excellent BMI figures even in people aged 70+ or 80+ years!! Agreed that BMI isn’t a perfect measurement, but still it’s somewhat of an indicator of health. Either their lifestyle could be very frugal, which again begs the question how did they get covid?. Why would anyone take immunosuppressant medications?. Did they undergo any transplants?. That’s what it seems like… great video, hats off for the info.

Interesting. But a far more interesting comparison, in my view, is the comparison between the outcomes of those hospitalized who are both unvaccinated and Covid-19 recovered as against those who are vaccinated. That would be the fair comparison, because both of those cohorts are presumed to have some level of immunity to the disease.
One should hope and expect that the vaccinated would fair better (as against severe disease and death) relative to the unvaccinated. But that sets up a false choice. The true choice facing anyone is the choice between the risk of contracting Covid as against the compound risk of adverse reaction to the vaccine coupled with the risk of getting (perhaps less severe) Covid.
The assumption of risk cannot be avoided. The only question is which alternative affords one the best risk/benefit.
Better to stay unvaccinated and depend on your natural immunity. Anyways vaccines are not coming with any guarantee.

(1). About 90% of those infected +c19 (all were not vaccinated) had no or very mild symptoms and recovered; meaning, it is the success of their normal natural immunity.
(2). The remaining 10% (all were also not vaccinated) had severe symptoms and almost all of them had comorbidity; ie. their natural immunity is not normal and it failed them.

Along with my dad who also has severe fibrosis of the lungs and quite a few other friends and friends of friends. A lady from my churchs son who's 12yrs old and in excellent health got the vaccine against his mother's wishes and collapsed from a massive stroke 12 hours later. My dad got the vaccine because the hospital refused to treat his for fibrosis if he wasn't full vaccinated and now he's suddenly become weak and sickly and can barely get out of bed and said he's having severe chest pain, he's seeing a heart specialist now
