Also they need almost the same amount of power cores (12 power cores) to rival the basic M chip (just 4 power cores) what the M1 Ultra had (16 power cores, which is much closer to the 12 like the 4..), so do you think they will bring you a 24 or even 48 power cores to rival the M Max and M Ultra?

The MacBook Air base is $150 more than the snapdragon base model and you also get a higher refresh rate and better monitor than the air with more ports. So you save $150 and get more.

The CPU is good but its overall slower as the M3. Maybe its as good as the M1. But the cheapest Surface 300€ more expensive as an Macbook M3 in Germany and you need a lot of luck to get one. The Price tag should be 700€. Yes the Snapdragon X Elite is 58% faster as the M3 but it tooks 80W and the M3 tooks 14W. This means under heavy load the Surface battery lasts 40 minutes and the M3 Air about 3 1/2 hours. But the X Elite at 20W seems to shine.

It's still windows and it still sucks because 1) it has no real ecosystem 2) it's price / quality is much is higher and 3) it's resale value is lower than macs.....because Apple spent YEARS doing things right. A Xeon with 100 cores and 1.2ghz clock speed is for example not a fast CPU for desktop use. Here they are trying to compare a CPU with 4 big cores and 4 small with one with 10 big cores. But it does not paint the hole picture at all.

The CPU is good but its overall slower as the M3. Maybe its as good as the M1. But the cheapest Surface 300€ more expensive as an Macbook M3 in Germany and you need a lot of luck to get one. The Price tag should be 700€.
Yes the Snapdragon X Elite is 58% faster as the M3 but it tooks 80W and the M3 tooks 14W.
This means under heavy load the Surface battery lasts 40 minutes and the M3 Air about 3 1/2 hours.
But the X Elite at 20W seems to shine.
Recall feature will kill the MacBook killer.
Wouldn't buy it even if it was half the price of the M3 Air.

Battery issue. I don't believe Microsoft. My surface pro 8 only lasts 3 hours on email and documents making, even it's claimed to be 8 hours. Woah.

Getting the iPhone SE (2022) and the Apple Watch Series 8. While I had hoped for the rumored 2024 version, it seems I'll have to wait a bit longer. Nonetheless, I'm thrilled to dive into Apple's ecosystem without breaking the bank.
It's still windows and it still sucks because 1) it has no real ecosystem 2) it's price / quality is much is higher and 3) it's resale value is lower than macs.....because Apple spent YEARS doing things right. You can't start copying mac now and be like " look how great we are" (just like iPhones act even though Samsung have had their tech for years before)

58% is pure BS. You need to look at single core performance since it is whats the most important for the vast majority of things you do on a computer.
A Xeon with 100 cores and 1.2ghz clock speed is for example not a fast CPU for desktop use.
Here they are trying to compare a CPU with 4 big cores and 4 small with one with 10 big cores. But it does not paint the hole picture at all.
