I just love him he’s so adorable, funny, and appreciative of everyone’s food. Also, he’s pretty educated (takes time to educate himself) on the things he cooks 😊👏🏼
Dear Cookie, your recipes and dishes are as marvelous and scrumptious looking as ever, but what I really enjoy about watching your videos is that wonderfully liberating and outdoorsy sense of freedom that your outlook on life exudes. A sobering reminder that one doesn’t need a fancy car, a fancy home, a fancy job, or a yacht full of dough to cook up something meaningful and pleasurable in life.
I ate those tacos in Mexico across from Del Rio, Tx. I watched them shave that meat off (cabrito) and served it with garnish and fresh-made tortillas. best tacos I ever ate.
As a Mexican I can say this man has earned his brown card, I love this guy he respects the food (some might not understand) give this man a noble peace prize
YEA!!!!! Woooooo Pig Sooooie!!!! This looks fantastic. I’m ordering two vertical spit roasts today! Kent, as a retired Air Force Master Sergeant, I thank you and deeply appreciate your gratitude to our military members. Thank you, you’re a true American and patriot.
There used to be a taco truck here in Kenosha that specialized in Al Pastor and they were the best tacos I’ve ever had. It’s hard to find good ones due to the labor involved but now I know how to make my own, thank you much Cowboy Kent👍🏻
Kent Rollins is a prime example of what a great southerner/cowboy is. He gives the right a good name, he proves solely that there are so many good people that respect all walks of life from that neck of the woods. We appreciate you Kent and your respect!
As a Mexican living in Texas, I thank you for making these delicious tacos. I don't consider this a "cultural appropriation," like some people claim. You, good sir, is a national treasure for the state of Texas and the United States of America. God bless you! Greetings from Laredo, Texas!
I see it as "cultural appreciation" but just can't understand why people view it that way in terms of cultural appropriation or whatever (not you of course, you're good but just some people like you said).
Never in my life had I've seen someone try to claim food as "cultural appropriation." If so, then they're wrong. It's mostly either a case of cultural appreciation, and the beauty of cultural diffusion.
WOW... another Kent masterpiece !!! Love how the help always participates... Sadie is settling in well it seems, she heard your boots shuffling and knew it was chow time

I have never been interested in cooking. I've always thought that if it was food just for me, there are plenty of options for premade meals, or just something simple like a sandwich. But you Sir have turned me onto a whole new way of looking at food, and how to share and enjoy it with others. This is the first time I have ever bought cookbooks and I can't wait to try them out and share them with family and friends, thank you!
A real hombre knows how to cook Mr. Rollins, is a magnificent pleasure to watch you working your magic around an open fire in the prairie, those tacos seem mighty deliciosos, God bless you and your wife, bye.
Thank you kent and shannon for being at kidron ohio. We loved seeing you and your grew. God surely has blessed you and Shannon and us for having you. You are truly a gentle man and Shannon a lady. We love you both and can't wait to see up there the next time.
I'm in the hospital getting the old ticker checked out. Not allowed to eat anything yet. Believe me, You could taste this recipe right through the cell phone. Looking extremely good! Thanks Kent.
Hey Kent, I was the star of the week last week at my mountainside camp in the Black Hills in the back country cooking you creations for the my family and friends. It was kinda tough at 5600 feet making some adjustments. But, turned out great. From one Chef to another, Thanks and God Bless.
Mr Kent, tacos al pastor are one of my favor tacos in the mexican food, you make it the most easy and fun way to do tacos al pastor,I really enjoy your cooking style,God bless you and your family.
Mt. Kent, you remind me of all the rusty cowboys I grew up around. But none of them could cook good, nor dance like you can. Love the channel, really takes me back.
Made this over the weekend. We ordered one of the gadgets, used the short one in the smoker like you did, and it was AMAZING. Wow. Thank you it's a keeper.
We just used our new Hasty Bake. Love it. Y’all are awesome. To Mrs. Rollins…my husband is older and I ain’t mad at you girl. Lol keep doing what y’all are doing.
I grow up in Los Angles California eating from the street tacos and I must say ur tacos are some of the most delicious looking ones Mr Kent great job 👏 and thank u for the how to on this can’t wait to try doing them
I will have to try this one soon. On another note, I can't think of many videos where Mr. Rollins doesn't have a band-aid or two on his hands. That's a true sign of a hard working man.
@ Cowboy Kent Rollins. As a cook who has made this many times I approve, but then again you don't need no validation. All your recipes and style/methods are A1.
"That deal poked me in the arm Shan.." ya'll have an amazing relationship between ya'll. To be a fly on the wall in your house would probably be hilarious. I can't imagine the laughs ya'll probably have with each other! 🤣
Kent, your cat image - earlier today here in North Texas, a squirrel decided to get on our back porch and climb windows. Our cat decided to try to get the squirrel, but couldn't get through the window. She managed to drive the evil squirrel away! You also reminded me of an office accident when I was working part time 4 decades back. Got one of those "paper spikes" right in my chin when I was bending over to help move desk. The wife of branch manager of the spot I was working at was an RN, and she actually insisted upon and administered a tetanus shot at the doctor office where she worked. And it was gratis, something probably not available any more. This looks delicious, but dang that is a lot of work! Perhaps for our block party, but that is usually crawdads as the main featured dish. But dang, I'd eat that dish in a heartbeat!
Thanks Kent (and Shannon), I'm a long time subscriber and Your videos (and Cookbooks and seasonings!) have expanded my grilling and outdoor cooking experience to the point that my Family is asking "What's Next!" The answer to that question is up to ya'll. Please keep them coming and scratch the Beag for me. God Bless!!!
One of my absolute favorites!! I never thought of a grill! It really looks like the piñas/pineapple (meat rotisserie) in Mexico! Will definitely be trying it! 😋
Just needs some salsa verde on there. I didn't find out about the traditional method until recently (the pineapple). Thank you for teaching these recipes!
This man is a national treasure.
Kent for sure. Jon Townsend too
He really is!
Modern day Justin Wilson in a cowboy hat!
