Btw it is not about Satan, it is about the Crawling Chaos, NYARLATHOTEP, a creature of H.P.Lovecraft he was a writer of short stories about cosmic Horror and the Dreamlands.
Nyarlathotep have 999 Avatars, one of his avatars is the Black Pharao, that is the reason why Apophis is mentioned by Dani in the lyrics, apophis is an egyptian snake-like Demonic-Deity that represent Chaos and tries constantly to devour the universe.

No dude, Apophis is the Egyptian Serpent God of Chaos, hense Crawling King Chaos. This song is about Chaos magick practitioners trying to ressurrect Apophis in the hopes he will destroy reality and annihilate the material plane of existence and turn it back into primal chaos. It's right in the lyrics my dude. The only Lovecraft reference in the song in in the first stanza when he says "in the mouth of madness" which is a spin on Mountains of Madness. 👀

I have several Books about Chaos Magic in my Bookshelf, even Books by Peter J- Carroll are among them. That means i very well familiar with the definition of chaos magic.
Reasons for the Interpretation of The crawling King chaos as a Song that is at least and among other things inspired by Nyarlathotep.
1: Crawling Chaos ist one of the official and best known titles for Nyarlathotep. This refference is very obvious.
2: Nyarlathotep is best known as Black Pharao and what do we see in Minute (3:46 - 4:00) yes, a black egyptian figure.
3: We talking about Dani Filth, that means we shouldn't forget how often his Songs have several meanings at the same time, especially when he mention something only once.
4: Why should he pick especially an egyptian deitiy to express CHAOS MAGIC, when there is a obvious connection between Egypt and Nyarlathotep.
5: Dani himself says, that it is about **existentialism, existential dread and fear of the unknown** THIS have much more in common with Lovecraft than with Chaos Magic.
6: the magazine itself describe the song as a Lovecraftian Hymn.
I don't know how deep you're familiar with the works of Lovecraft, but you see that i have my reasons for my interpretation.
Btw, your words sounds for me very know-it-all, something that doesn't exactly improve the overall situation.

@@goldenboy12ish I'm saying it the way I am because I have been around a very long time in the black metal scene and know that Lovecraft himself used the mythology of Apophis to write about Nyarlathotep it's literally a ripoff version heaped in racist hate. HP wasn't actually original all he did is make the names of things unreadable drivel so it could look original. It wasn't the modern era and he basically was a racist cheap comic book writer without the artists. Apophis has historical evidence of a diety of a sect of people, not that he's real either but he actually had followers we know about. So maybe you should check your Lovecraft lore.

Too satanic? You havent heard Dark funeral then. The sky blackens when you listen to that. Atleast it did for me back in the 90's
