Holy fucking shit, this is one of the greatest progressions in a band that i have seen, i mean seriously the way that jinjer matured their sound is downright amazing, so melodic yet technical and the same time having a bit of that proggy feel, and of course heavy as fuck. The drummer, the bassist, the vocalist, the guitarist everyone is on point, the riffs, the mix. Just damn. So stoked for this album.

There's a UA-cam where the drummer plays Rachmaninov - on a piano. They are all ridiculously talented, and even more hard working.

You teach me how to be a man
    Though I am someone's daughter
The path of warrior was set for me
And I had to try on the armour
    No it doesn't suit me
    And it feels so heavy
    I'm frightened and so ashamed
That I have to combat the world alone
That I have to swing my sword alone
So my gentleness is turned into rigidity
And once soft the skin is nothing but the scale
One by one I lead unequal fights, eventually
The beauty's nose is broken, and I faint
Life feeds me bullets and stones
And I stitch myself up alone
If I cry I will run my tears
    Inside of my blood-stained cheeks
    I've found talents beyond comprehension
All my battles are a sight to behold
    Wading through the hardship alone
    Translating my body to soul
Oh brutal world, I'm not your enemy
This role of warrior brings nothing but the misery
If a woman's wings are trimmed
    And her radiance is dimmed
This is over! This is over!
You will see her ride a broom
With a force to be reckoned
To be no longer the second
I am no longer a daughter
    I eat them for breakfast
    I eat them for lunch
    I have audacity
    To throw the first punch
    I dwell in the shadows
    I sleep in the light
I am no longer a daughter
    I throw the first punch

These are some of the most honest and mature lyrics I've heard in a while. She's not being arrogant or sassy ie a Tay Tay, she's just being honest. She wants to be in her feminine but the world is tough and forces her to wear an armour every second to the point where she's forgotten what it was like being free and not in warrior mode.
She doesn't think of feminity as something bad or oppressive. She wants to be a girl but the cruel world isn't letting her. Hopefully, she'll find a good masculine partner who'll be the armour for her to finally embrace her feminity again.
I'm a man and this was still so touching for me. THIS is what women should be listening to, not Tay Tay.

I love the contrast of this song where she is singing so peacefully soft and just this god playing the guitar lol. And a drummer to keep up, and the bass all over the place, it’s so perfect.

Excited for new album and curious if this will be on it since the description says, "Surprise track" and "tease of what's to come".

Tatiana is by far the best metal frontwoman ever. Angela Gossow pioneered the role, many have since followed suit, and have basically provided more of the same either by copying Angela, or by doing only clean vocals. Tatiana just took it to whole new level. No one can alter between screaming and clean vocals seamlessly like she does. She even makes it look easy. Not many can do what she does to the level that she does it, and its not just her talent that makes her great, she also has great showmanship. Tatiana is just a naturally gifted entertainer on all levels.
