As far as singing along, it is very possible, you don't have to speak or understand a word of Japanese. Just do what the rest of us do - follow the lead of the two younger girls and make noises that sound a bit like what they are singing and enjoy the gorgeous vocals of the lead singer like you would your favourite instrumental.🤘
'Karate' was the lead single for their second album (2016). As such it is possibly one of their more radio friendly songs in both tone and structure.
This song and video won 2 awards. "Best Metal Video in MTV Video Music Awards Japan 2016" and "Best Metal Song in 6th Annual Loudwire Music Awards".
As Jake Muller said in the comments below, the official videos are all very good and well worth taking the time to watch, but live BABYMETAL is where Jon will really get to see and hear what BABYMETAL are all about.
I will second Jake's suggestions for what to show to Jon next .... and after those they have nearly 70 more songs.😁🤘
Just a quick suggestion so you get more views - add 'BABYMETAL', the song title and the word reaction into your title so the videos will show up when people are searching for BABYMETAL reactions.

We all love Babymetal 🙂 (well, a large part of the world who is aware of them, we know it's not for everyone, but those who like it, most them really like it aka love it).
Don't forget to give him live performances to watch as well... MVs are just not the full experience of what Babymetal has to offer.

I think i missed out your RATATATA reaction,. anyway although this one is a cool BM song as a follow up i highly suggest for your friend next time introduce him a live version of what they do on the stage and maybe he will get more close what is BM all about.
