@T J Agreed. Those are the camping trips you remember and always talk about. Rarely does anyone bring up trips with perfect weather and no issues that were dealt with.

I'm really envious of your Ranger diesel. Not many choices for mid size trucks/SUV's here in the US. I enjoy being off the ground and the ease of set up. Only con I have experienced so far is getting down in the middle of the night to do your business. I also camp with two dogs and they don't climb the ladder.... Enjoying your content. Cheers.
What a wonderful two nights of camping in the rain. My suggestion for next time: add some tomatoes, baked beans, and mushrooms for a Full English breakfast. Yum!
I just enjoy your videos. If you want to bushcraft, that is cool. If you want to cook (especially on rocks!) that is great. You want to drive across country and camp in your truck set up, which does look cozy, that would be fun, too. Just do what makes you happy and keep filming. I enjoy all of it and try to learn as you go.
Thanks for the video, Andy. A suggestion: get a small spirit level from the pound shop and keep it in the car. Put it on the dashboard or centre console when you park, to see if it's pitched level. That's what I used to do with the campervan. Set the levelling ramps against whichever wheels needed them, then drive up onto them whilst watching the spirit level.......
So much 'in' in the title lol. Nice video, but a question here, never tried truck roof tent before because my weight over 220 pound, is it possible with my weight?
🤔 Actually that’s not an issue - pretty regular weight for roof tent nomads 😉 there are so many roof tents available on the market fitting the majority of different needs 😁 Just check it out! I do love my roof tent and traveling around independently ☺️
Thanks... I don't know my weight in pound... I don't think I want to know either lol I think the tents are probably fine for most but there are a lot of different racks and mounts that will vary for sure.
Wow, I really like that. Nice size inside. That would really be nice to sleep in when it’s raining. Awesome, I’m sure you’ll get a lot of use out of that....
As someone from Southern California the rain and the nearby stream is what’s killing me the most....well that, and everything else. Looks like great fun, like a treehouse without a need for trees. Cheers.
Thank you so much Andy for sharing this. I am a recent subscriber and wanted to express how much I am enjoying your Vlogs, they are informative, inspirational and I find them relaxing, especially setting up camp, your fire and food making. I really love that truck tent set up, it offers many opportunities and storage solutions. It's almost like a trailer tent / campervan hybrid hehe. Be safe, be well and take care Andy, all the best for 2021.
Not sure if I commented on this before in regards to "is this the kind of thng we would like to see on the channel" but YES! Always will prefer tents and shelters but it would be great to see your adventures in the Truck Roof Tent and what you discover - good or bad - about this type of camping. Plus we would get to see more of your beautiful country! Be well!
French toast looks great. As an American and a Chef, I'll give you a 10 out of 10. Yes, maple syrup goes well with it. I personally like to add a few drops of vanilla extract to the egg and milk mixture. Cheers!

Very nice set up, solid FORD chassis, rooftop tent is an awesome piece of kit. Have fun, go Offroad, eat well
So much 'in' in the title lol.
Nice trip and setup Andy 👍 Looking forward to more trips and videos and an RTT for my Amarok one day 🍺 Cheers
Love the truck camping. It’s how I grew up. 🎉
tacos with no cheese.. sacrilegious
I thought the same ha ha
My thoughts exactly... Lol
Plus no fajita spice on the taco wraps.
Anytime i use a wrap i always rub the outside with fajita spice and give it a quick grill. Fantastic flavour.
haha, I thought cheese and sour cream was a bit greeting :p
Wow, I really like that. Nice size inside. That would really be nice to sleep in when it’s raining. Awesome, I’m sure you’ll get a lot of use out of that....
As someone from Southern California the rain and the nearby stream is what’s killing me the most....well that, and everything else. Looks like great fun, like a treehouse without a need for trees. Cheers.
I salute your optimism sir. It’s quite infectious. Love your videos, all the best mate!
Outstanding camper and awesome meals happy for you in getting your camper 😊
No bushcrafting or backpacking, but looks super comfy! And it's always comforting/calming to watch your videos. Nice setup Andy!
Cheers!
Nice camping setup, like the rooftop tent and awning, great for when it does rain, peace my brother.
If my tropical country, Malaysia is not hot and humid, I would like to go out living and enjoying outdoor life like yours. It's a blessed to go out and living an outdoor life when you have a mild, moderate climate except for winter time.
Great video ! The cook and food display was awsome. Glad to see portion control ...
I think that that’s definitely an awesome set up and would like to see some more of that. Great job Andy
Great set up, looks awesome !!! A campfire is nature's movie. I can sit and gaze at a fire all day with a beverage and good food. Cheers from Florida, USA
That setup is Kool. I would like more videos with you using this setup. I also want to see you camp out in the wood shed in the summer, put Mosquito netting inside.
The sound of that rain was so nice!
