I've been collecting shulker unloaders in my test world for awhile now, this is the BEST one so far. Dutfer's compact 6x is faster, but it's bigger and a bit more complicated to build due to stacking minecarts. This will be my go-to design unless I really need the extra speed. Great job! tested in 1.20.1 and all features are working. empty box handling, box separation, and speed are all up to par. and it lets you access the box too, a rare feature!
You are totally right! I forgot that for the 1.20, they made the change so that honey and soul sand have effect even on the edges. But don't worry, just add a second honey block next to the first one, right below where the minecart is and it should work for you.
for some reason the unloader doesnot pull back the minecart in 1.19.2 even the version 2 doesnot please try a fix for this glitch i was trying every block alignment but all of them failed @GiorgioJGZ
This design was made in 1.20, and it works because of a change they made to edges of blocks. However, to make it work in 1.19, you can just add a second honey block next to the one that you already have and you should be good!
im sorry to say but i tried that too as well but for some reason it doesnot work as well please check throughly why this happenes its like barbed which is it pushes the minecart but does not pul back so yeah it doesnot even if theres honey block i checked that also @@GiorgioJGZ
@@GiorgioJGZ lava farms are so lag that I thinked to take it in the nether and move buckets in the spown chanks with portal I did a mix of the il mango farms, I took his small and his big farms with calduron and mixed them....it can produce 1020 buckets max in 8 minute and 20 seconda afk running it once full
Holly molly! That's a nice big farm. No wonder why it is so laggy. But I do like your solution, just send them to the overworld. Nicely done! I wish they would add the function to dispensers of retrieving stuff form cauldrons. That way we could just make a smaller lava farm and leave it running as we do other stuff. Hopefully one day.
Oh no! Portal linking is probably one of the most confusing mechanics and it can get to be so frustrating. Unless I need many to link to a single portal, I always build them at least 16-32 blocks apart from each other in the overworld so I can manage to keep them separate in the nether. But boy is it hard!
Honey is a bit shorter than a full block so it will allow the hoppers at the bottom to suck items from the minecart. It also has the added benefit that we can stick the minecart to it and move it out of the way when we break the empty shulkers so that we can easily separate them.
@@GiorgioJGZ It's a great design, although I would prefer to use an activator rail to lock the hoppercar instead of moving it, I don't know if this is more or less efficient as it requires an extra hoppercart, but I need it this way because it's easier to tile one in front of the other and the cart between the 4 lower hoppers can be protected by glass and have a less sensitive alignment; I used this on a 1.14 autocrafter..
That's actually a good way of doing it too. My choice for the honey block comes more from the original idea (which, funnily, I had while I was taking a shower) than anything else. I just thought it'd be a fun mechanic to use and an easy concept to explain, so I didn't give it much more thought and focused on the systems regarding the handling of the shulkers. But I think using an activator rail instead would be quite beneficial. Leaving aside the fact that we need double the hopper minecarts, we would get rid of the moving minecart, and the distribution of the items between the 4 hoppers wouldn't be affected by it, making it almost perfect if not perfect. Thanks for the suggestion. As I sometimes say, there is no right way of making Redstone, just as many solutions as there are Redstoners 😂
@@GiorgioJGZ yes, and it's good because it allows you to use the mbe carpet rule without the honey interfering with the hopper, I would send the link to the contraption if you want to test it or share, If UA-cam gave video owners authority to decide what should be removed from the comments section
True! Also, if Mojang ever adds mbe, the contraption would need no changes. Thanks, if you want to send it to me, I have an Instagram account, you can hit me with a DM, it'd be interesting to see it. Anyways, I don't think changing my design to have an activator rail would be difficult at all. I actually have done a double speed unloader that is very similar, I can take the right timings from there as well.
bro you are underrated

Amazing tutorial
Thx!!
maybe only work in 1.20?, i tried in 1.19.4 and the minecart going down of the honey block

@@GiorgioJGZ thaaank youuu, is a well design, good job
Thx!!
Is it only 1.20?
@@GiorgioJGZok I tried and I saw it work with a double slime block one in front of the barrel to in 1.19.2
Deberían aclarar que es solo para JAVA! La construí en Bedrock y no sirve 😖
Sorry to hear that! But it's stated in the description of the channel. I only make Redstone for Java. I've also included it in the tags of the video.
Awesome design man!
Glad you think so!
Ada yg versi bedrock nya!?
Sorry, no. Only for Java
After one use the minecart inst centered over the 4 hoppers anymore any idea why?
Did you remove the end rods?
Yes I realized what it was@@GiorgioJGZ
Great!

I am going to use it in my lava farm to connect the farm in the nether with the super smelter in the overworld 👍
Nice application!
