As a person who own t300 i 100% recommend 🤝
Only thing I 100% recommend is following me on Instagram 😎
@@OCRacing 😂 nice one
If only they were in stock on this planet
@@NoFaceCobain they're in stock retail price on Amazon
Better than g923?
your videos come out at the perfect time for me. when i was looking at buying a g29 u released a vid on it. now im looking at the t300 and u just released this vid. Keep up the good work
I’m always watching 😳
G29 is half the price atm
@@MrOzyreusz G29, they're sold out everywhere and on Amazon G29s are $400 right now
Same with me, I was just looking at the t300 the other day 😳
T300rs is 100$ more than g29 where I live, it it worth the extra money ?
The TX was my first wheel. Had it for 3 years and just upgraded to the CSL DD which is definitely a superior wheel base, but the TX was still great. It got me into sim racing for a low price and like mentioned here pros still use it and can win on it
Upgraded from the G29 which was a good wheel but this was a major step up and absolutely enough for me. coupled to the TCLM pedals it is a great all around package provided you get it at a good price which I did direct from Amazon a long time ago and they have not missed a beat! One day I will try a DD wheel but for now this has been a great wheel. Good review!
Still rocking my T300 to this day and I still absolutly love it! Got it over a year ago at an absolute bargain and I've got not plans to upgrade at all...well maybe the pedals
Glad you’ve been enjoying it!
I got my T300RS near launch and I agree with almost every point raised other than about the T3PA pedals in the GT ed.
Yeah the stock 2 pedal set is garbage, but the T3PA's were far, FAR better, the conical brake gives you so much more confidence on the brakes as you have a physical resistance at the end of brake travel, when set correctly (i.e. when just touching the cone = 80% of full braking force) you can FEEL where the lock up point is instead of just guessing by foot/ankle position alone.
Yeah they're practically identical to the G series pedals but that mod alone makes them night and day better, (speak from experience here, DFGT-G27-T300 and beyond).
Is it worth $400US though(or £380 in the UK)?? Not anymore imo.. ESPECIALLY not with the 2 pedal set.
The biggest plus of the T300 is it's almost double the power of the G series wheels, anyone who owns a T300 with the 2 pedal set and is thinking of upgrading their setup should seriously look at the T-LCM loadcell pedals before anything else, why?
I went from T3PA's to a set of V3's from Fanatec and the difference was STAGGERING! Yeah I loved the T3PA's for the 3-4 years I had them but within 2-3 days of getting the V3's I was managing trail braking far easier than with the T3PA's.
On top of this the inherent design flaws of BOTH Logitech and TM's basic pedal sets is the risk of dust/dirt and foreign objects fouling up the mechanism leading to pedal flutter and a need of strip and clean them out every 6-9 months.
Both T-LCM's and the Fanatec Loadcell pedals all use Hall Effect sensors instead of Potentiometers linked to the pedal with geared mechanisms, magnetic field sensors with no moving parts so they don't wear out like Pots do and there's no mechanism to get gummed up.
The BIG plus of both options is they can be used via USB to PC rather than plugged into the wheelbase meaning they CAN be used should you upgrade your wheelbase (sorry console owners but you don't have this option sadly).
IF I were buying today I'd DEFINATELY still consider the T300 but I'd do the same you did get the base alone and choose the T-LCM's and rim I want.
Logitech wouldn't even get a look in, Why? because they're STILL selling 14-15 year old innards without making significant changes since the G27 adopted helical gears, other than that the G series has been unchanged ever since, all the G series wheels since than are identical internally yet the pricing goes back to the previous models launch price or even higher.
I only recently upgraded to a CSL DD and given the price difference for the wheelbase and McLaren rim vs a brand new T300RS GTE (I paid £640 for the Fanatec vs £380 for the RS GTE) then imo look for a 2nd had T300 before you even think about a new one, if you WANT new then save them pennies up and forget the T300 or even the TS-PC OR TGT II.
I play AMS 2 (A LOT LOL) and even with the T300 and T3PA's I was able to hold my own vs guys with full direct drive rigs e.g. ua-cam.com/video/wPf6N3bsLk4/v-deo.html Myself vs the 3rd fastest guy round Nordschleiffe and he's got a CSL or CSW + V3 pedal set, motion rig and plays in VR, he also posted the same race on his channel ua-cam.com/video/i2Zr3xANma8/v-deo.html
So you don't NEED all the bells and whistles to be competitive, I KNOW one of the fastest guys in AMS 2 is rocking a TMX with the V3's from Fanatec and he held over 200 records in AMS 2.
At the end of the day you need to balance cost vs playtime and work out "Is it worth the cost?", if you play 1000's of hours in racing games then go Fanatec CSL DD.
If you are a casual gamer? Then look for a 2nd hand T300 base + rim and get a new set of T-LCM's, (it'll work out about the same price as a T300RS GTE). Avoid Logitech at all costs and you'll avoid "Buyers remorse" 2-3 months down the line...
Thanks a lot for your input! I’m sure it’ll help out lots of people 👍
That’s a lot to say about thrustmaster but the real choice is Fanatec. Would save you twenty minutes of typing about a bull shit product.
@@SimRacingVeteran Sorry but I have to disagree it's far far from a shit product.
with my T300RS I've held several world records in AMS 2, plus several other games where I was regularly in the top 10-20 in the world, hell, on my old DFGT I was 2nd in the ESL 1 vs 1 drift ladder in the original Race Driver Grid till codies killed off the MP servers with no warning.
I've also had races where I've beaten some of the fastest drivers on the planet.
At the end of the day it's NOT the equipment that makes you fast... It's the individuals skill and familiarity with whatever they are using.
Hell I'm part of an AMS 2 Time Trial community on Discord and 2-3 months ago our series champion was a guy on a controller!
Over the year we've been running I'm the highest scoring player in our little group, having won outright 5 times on a T300RS.
Many of our members have full DD setups like Podium DD1 and DD2's.
So yeah the T300RS ISN'T the best wheel out there by ANY stretch of the imagination but it's "good enough" to go toe to toe with some of the best out there.
As I mentioned above the guy recognised as the fastest in the game (And an Esports champion) uses a TMX with V3 pedals and is practically untouchable...
@@SRS13Rastus I can 100% attest that better gear does not make you faster. (From personal experience 😭)
I use a t150 with T3pa pedals and I gotta say, the conical e brake mod sold it for me. It is amazing what it does
T300 base and Ferrari rim is still going strong after 7 years for me, cranked to 100% with the Noctua fan mod. Highly suggest upgrading to a load cell pedal instantly to get the best experience. When the base dies, then go DD now that there are some really affordable options.
I bought this wheel towards the end of 2020, and it’s a really good wheel. I bought the RS edition, but I immediately upgraded the pedals to the TLCM ones, because the default pedals, as you said, are terrible. I’d definitely recommend this over the Logitech series of wheels but I am looking forward to selling my own and get the thrustmaster direct drive wheel base, whenever that eventually gets released…
I got the GT version towards the end of 2020 and also upgraded to the TLCMs oh and got the Sparco rally rim that was a very nice change going from the smaller wheel I also and looking forward to the new TM DD base sure hope it stacks up to the CSL DD... Oh and I got lucky my wife works for Dell and used her employee discount and got mine for $325 shipped woot. I have had no issues with mine and I run it hard and often..
@Mike direct drive is definitely better, and I would say Thrustmaster is better than Logitech. However, Fanatec already have a cheap direct drive wheel base available, but you would have to spend more than $700 most likely to get the base, a wheel rim and pedal set.
If you’re not 100% sure that you’re going to enjoy the wheel and use it a lot then I’d go for Thrustmaster or Logitech. Logitech is cheaper but as the video says Thrustmaster is better quality than Logitech
@@v6i838 DEFINITELY agree with this point, if you play once in a while or just a few hours per month forget it you'll just be wasting money, if like me you're playing 1200+ hours in a single racing game and your library is 40-50% racing games then HELL YEAH save da pennies and get what you can afford...
I got one too towards the end of 2020. Very happy with it but as you said the pedals aren't great but they do the job for me as I don't always race. Just waiting for a decision on a cockpit
Glad to see this. Bro I’ve had two g29s. The first one broke over the course of five months. The second took 24 hours. There’s a plastic connector attaching the rim to the base and when it gives, you loose a good chunk of force feedback in wheel wobble. The t300 is WAAAYYYY better, but still flawed. There’s a random button pressing issue that some get and some don’t. Mine store but I bought it used and got six months with no complaints. Even when it did, there are adaptors you can get to use a normal rim for an actual car. They however suffer from that same wobble as the g29 with said adaptor so you may have to mod the connection with glue or appoxy to stop it wobbling front to back. If you can, start at a ts-xw or a csl dd. The fact is you try this and like it your going to buy the upgraded stuff out our pursuit of feel and feedback. Just save for the purchase the first time or you’ll be making the same one after buying $500 in g29 rim and shifter and handbrake. That’s a csl right there.
it's the plastic breaking around the support bearing of the wheel shaft, you can buy reinforcements
Could we now get a dishonest review?
This is the video I needed right now
Thank you 🙌🏼
I was given a T300 from a friend a couple years ago. But I didn't have a proper place to mount. That is until recently, I bought a desk. Turns out I'm missing the power cable and he swears he doesn't have it.
Since then Thrustmaster has also been sold out of the power cable.
I'm super glad to hear it's a good wheel to have, very informative!
Now to patiently wait for the Thrustmaster store to be restocked!!
The Videos are getting better in quality every time. Keep it up
Thanks so much! Will do :)
Great Video, I have owned TX for five years and you were right on with all your points! Thank You!
Bless your soul I was looking on your channel last night specifically for a T300 review and couldn’t find it. What’re the odds 🤯.
I’m always watching 😳🤠
Great video
Owning a TX myself I want to add one thing:
For people panning on doing or already using the table clamp, put a bit of oil on the screw, it will really help tightening it and make it quiet
Thanks for letting everyone know!
Is grease ok?
ty for top tip
@@tranCeaddiCtedw0w grease would actually be better
I add grease and oil evrywhere before using it first time ahahah
I bought one a month ago and compared with the G920 Logitech it is so much better. The force feedback is a little stronger, but it is so much more precise and lifts my gaming experience to the next level.
Thank you 😎👍 im looking to start sim racing for fun with my kids. Your videos help alot " I was so lost " lol
Glad to hear! Thanks for watching :)
Thanks for the review!
Really enjoying your content, OC. Currently deciding between the T248 and potentially the TX, so looking forward to that video!
T300 ...
@@THESHADOW97139 Too late brother....I just ordered the T248 set yesterday from best buy on sale for $240...
@@justing2285 😮 good price !!!
@@THESHADOW97139 yeah the $400 price point was the only thing keeping me back, otherwise I would have just went next step to TX. deal was too fire tho. this is also my first racing wheel.
@@justing2285 Now, have fun .... personally, I'll wait a while, but it will be a T300 and csl lc pedals.
Hey oc I've been waiting for this thanks
You asked and you received 🤝
Wow, so happy that I got it for 215€ back in April 2020... Thought it was a good upgrade from the base of it compared to the G29 (definetly not the pedals...), but looking at their retail price now oh boy was I lucky hahah
Huge props to the editor of this vid bro really elevated your professional experience. Amazing!
Edit: the cartoonish running sound for the "quick release" is an amazing touch imo. Sounddesign on par.
Thank you! This entire channel is run by myself 😅
@@OCRacing the direction is immaculate. Amazing stuff. Mind blown rn 🤯🤯
I just picked up the t300 for $250 and the Ferrari wheel for $129. I paired it with my Tlcm pedals and man did it make a difference. Not in lap times but HUGE difference in consistency. I had tm tmx before.
Yep exactly the same for me but paid near on £400!!! for the RS GT pack a few years ago still more than happy as it has been issue free. Previously I had the G29 which served me so well. But the overall felling and consistency is just better and I also have the TLCM pedals which do make all the difference.
I haven't watched the video yet, but thank you so much. I have T150 Pro and I have been thinking of upgrading it to T300 past few days and you uploaded this video just in time.
What'd you think of the review?
@@OCRacing Review was great! In 8 minutes you did quite better job explaining wheels pros and cons than a lot of other reviewers I have watched in the last few days. Certainly can see that you had experience with other wheels and want to tell your honest opinion about this one. The gameplay, image and sound quality are great and it’s pleasant to watch the video. Keep up the good work!
@@OCRacing By the way, when you were talking about getting this wheel for 200-300 $ did you meant the wheel base itself? Cause in my case I can get new T300 with GT version of T3PA pedals for 340-370 euros, which is approx. 380-420$. Would that be a great deal or should I genuinely look for something better at similar price point. I am mostly playing GT Sport, F1 and a little bit of ets, ac and wrc.
Really considering buying a TX, great video!
Glad I could help :)
Glad this video came up on my feed. Just checked ebay and found a 300 RS GT + the F1 addon wheel in great condition for £275 about 5 minutes down the road from me.
love my t300. ill be sticking with it for potentially a long time. im buying the TM DD wheel some day. lol
Very much looking forward to that new DD wheel 👀
Got my t300rs gt used on Amazon for 380 seeing the pricing your showing here makes me feel better about the purchase
ayyy always in depth but also to the point, keep it up!
Glad you enjoyed! Thanks for the comment 🙏
@@OCRacing no worries bro :)
I have had the t150 for a very long time now about 2 years. it has done me well but i dont like the cheap pedals that come with it. I can drift with that wheel in forza and asseto corsa, but since it has no clutch, i cant use the thrustmaster H shifter with it. Thanks for making this video and i think i will get a T300 RS GT since it will be a big step up and will last me for years to come
I got my rsgt and oh my lawd I used to have a t150 pro and the pedals are significantly better especially in the break feel I was lucky and got it for the stock price, I’m very happy with the upgrade and I would recommend it as a first or second wheel for people out there looking for an upgrade that will last them a while especially since you can swap the wheels out but beware around this range injuries in your fingers are more possible so be careful guys
as always, amazing video. already have a g29 but when I get a cockpit might sell it and get the wheelbase and a rim or two
Awesome! And thanks for watching :)
Opted for a T300. Great choice. Also just got an open wheel add-on.
Always enjoy your vids :)
Always enjoy reading the comments 🤝
Looking to maybe buy a wheel and am looking at the t300 and t248 for GT7 on my ps5 can’t wait for that comparison video to look more into those two options. And also great job on your videos :)
I got the tx with the open wheel and t-lcm pedals for racing and it is really good. If you are looking for some competetive equipment with good ffb imo and not spend crazy amounts of money the tx base is 100% worth it
Agreed! Thanks for the comment :)
tbh i just received my csl dd with boost kit and nothing comes close in this price range.
right before the pandemic started, I found my t300 for 150 not bad considering it came with next level racing stand. t3pa pedals, th8a and f1 Ferrari wheel. I bought the Alcantara wheel, and it was $100 more than the whole set up
You know why I love iRacing ? It has the best sim racers online . So , when I start getting a big head I hop on iRacing & suddenly I’m put in my place & realize that I don’t know everything . Then it’s time to put in some laps , watch clips from real races & remember that I need to always be paying attention . Backing up corners & trying to go faster than my last lap . I just got a TX in today from ebay . Way smaller than I thought ! I was hoping it would be bigger than my DFGT , camera tricks my eyes 👀🤘🏼🏁
I just picked up an older-used T300 RS package for one hundred and fifteen usd on Mercari. It feels SO much better than the TMX I’ve been using. I cannot believe my luck!
That editing in the beginning earned a like by it's self holy
I’m actually thinking of upgrading to a T300, I’m currently using a T150 which I modded myself. I want to use other wheels so I 3D printed an adaptor and then bought a regular sized car steering wheel and 3D printed a GT/F1 wheel. But in exchange of that, I lost all the original buttons.
I did not know that there’s a ‘wheelbase only’ version of the T300, since the base model available in our country is the T300 RS GT version. I might order from amazon and ship it all the way here, since I’m heavily considering it now after watching your video. Thanks!
I have a t300 base for $220 shipped
I've bought the thrustmaster tx 458 italia with its crappy pedals for just 150$! It was used one but i couldn't see any wear on it. I was so lucky! And i bought it like half a year ago. Its really good compared to g920 i had previously. I definitely recommend it.
That's a great deal! Although I would definitely recommend upgrading the pedals.
@@OCRacing I did! When I got some more money I immediately bought the tlcm's. I really love them :) and btw I love your content!
@@Wtf_is_a_Matra that’s awesome to hear! Big fan of the t-lcms myself. Thanks for watching :)
I got my Thrustmaster TX, Sparco rally wheel, a tm28 leather wheel, and the T3pa pro pedals for $400 on FB marketplace
That's awesome Samuel. Hope you're enjoying it!
2024 and im still using my T300rs GT..love this wheel
in my country it's a very good wheel especially with the price tag of $400 for the RS gt version since the g29 costs $300 with the shifter this is a very good deal
This was my first wheel i ever got and now my kids use it as I moved up to the direct drive podium set up ,
I just bought the T300 RS GT edition for 260 eur as my first ever wheel. can't wait for it to arrive
My T300RS is almost 2 years old. I have used it ALOT (over 1000 hours). The wheel has NEVER failed. The stock pedals were rubbish and got replaced (updated). After 6 months of use I replaced the internal fan with a silent Noctua (there is a guide here on youtube). I love this wheel and I has given me so many hours of fun. I would really want a DD1 someday but the price is a bit to high because I only drive for fun... nothing competitive.
why does it overheat ?? looking for my 1st ever wheel choosing between g29 or t300rs
@@adrianp7255 it overheats as the power supply is inside the wheel case and there is a fan above that which blows the hot air from the power supply over towards the motor.
@@CharleyBig5puds I want a t300rs gt but I'm scared it won't last long.should I get one or the g923?
@@slimantonio I have had both and preferred the T300 over the G923. The T300 will come with a warranty so you shouldn’t worry about how long it will last. I still have mine and used it every day for a year. Looking for a second hand Fanatec CSL if you can find one to suit your budget is another choice.
Pretty sure I scored with getting the TX servo Base through thrustmaster for $229, when the next day they updated it to $329. I'm upgrading from the TMX pro and can't wait to drift on the TX. Gonna splurge and get the fanatec V3 peddles and finally enjoy ATS/ETS and drifting on Assetto.
As a very casual sim racer I absolutely love my t300.
I haven't had a wheel since my ps3 days, I decided to get the t150 pro basically for the pedals, picked up last year from Amazon on a flash sale for $240.00 with the intent on upgrading to a t300 base at a later time.
Hypee! Gonna get the t300 rs gt myself!
Your FOV and screen setup is excellent. Can you tell us more about that too?
Woah! is it just me or did you switch the video style? i love it!
Maybe a little. Glad you like it :)
I have to admit that the T300 is the best base I have used so far. Maybe that's the reason why I'm actually still happy with my T300 setup (plus: R383-Mod Wheel, and the T-LCM-pedalset). ;)
Of course, I would like to give the CSL-DD from Fanatec a try, but in combination with a steering wheel and pedals you easily end up with 750.- to 800.- €! (837.- to 892.- USD)
Hi I got my t300 last year and it was working perfectly with a red LED but I made a reset for my pc weeks ago and the light turned to green and it doesn’t function as before any thoughts on how to make it light red again?
@@MHjwl502 You have to Update the TM-Firmware (in case you haven't so). Green is the new red ;) I did it month ago and it works fine.
@@MHjwl502 P.S. On PC the switch must be in PS3 position
Thanks for answering
i just upgraded from the g29 and i can tell you its great i do alot of rally. the rally wheel is great but i havbe started gt racing for the price its great i got my wheel and base for about 400
I managed to buy a Thrustmaster t300 wheelbase for 125 bucks with very few hours on it and it's still under a year of warranty, after watching this review I say I got a bargain, printed myself an adapter and a button box for my deep dish wheel and programmed it with an arduino to appear and function as a Thrustmaster t300 rs rim, I also bought a set of brand new T3PA GT pedals from someone who bought a new Thrustmaster t300 rs gt and didn't need the pedals so overall my entire setup came out at a total of 230 bucks so far, Perhaps 245 as I bought a load cell and I am waiting for it to arrive to install it on my brake pedal for a more realistic feel, and I am saving up to buy an H pattern shifter down the line.
I got my T300rs gt 2 weeks ago from Amazon for $400 “used: like new” and i’ve noticed zero problems so far. Keep your eye on these and you’ll be able to find one decently priced. They’ve been fluctuating between $450-$650 so i got pretty lucky. I also got the TH8A shifter the same way for $165.
USD or what? Never seen one go for over 350
Did the same thing, got mine for 380. Loving the lucky pricing
Been rocking my T300 RS for a couple of years and it has been problem free and more importantly power enough for me. the only thing I added was the TLCM pedals which have made a huge difference...
TH8A FTW!!! You have to get the short throw mod though! It makes a huge difference, even after a couple of months i kept missing some shifts. That ant the shift stops.
Ok so I bought the Logitech g 923 and the shifter. The very next day I decided I’ll go for the thrustmaster instead because I really wanted the better shifter so I paid 250 on Amazon for the th8a ( only way to get it quick was to pay the premium) and I got the t248. I’ll say they were both solid wheels and I actually miss the extra force effects from the true force in the Logitech wheel but the thrustmaster is a clear upgrade to me when it comes to the fbb and especially this amazing shifter that mind you can swap the shift knob with real universal shift knobs for cars. Now my complaint is the wheel itself feels kinda small on the t248 (same size as 923) and considering I originally wanted the t300 gt but it’s impossible to find at a good price but finally I just caved. I got the t300 rs and the T-LCM pedals which will compliment the T8HA. After watching this video and several other even though the t300 is older it’s still the better wheel.
Hulo, so i'm ngl here i'm 12 and really wanting to getinto eraceing and drifting thsi video helped me so mutch and i'm gonna have to save up my money so i can afford it but based off of this video i think it will be worth it. THANKS!
I currently have a t248 and planning on using that for my xbox purely and planning on getting on of these for pc use and found at a lovely price of £180
Just upgraded from Logitech G920 to Thrustmaster TX w/SF1000. Huge improvement. I love it. I tried the T818 first but had problems and sent back for the TX. Difference between TX and T818 is not worth $400 more.
I would say its VERY worth it cause i have had the t300rs gt for 1 year now and for sim drifting its a dream to use
Thanks to you I bought T300rs gt edition today..
Out of everything in the world, endless possibilities and all of us ended up following buff guys piloting a steel can on wheels going around in circles or from A to B
😳
I dont insert the screw for the “quick” release and it never comes loose. Brilliant wheel base btw!
Huh 🤔comes straight off for me after a few minutes without the screw
I hate that screw. IMHO it's not a "quick" release.
Bought a used GT t300rs with the three pedal set, it’s great and I got a great deal for it
Bro the wow guy caught me off guard, haven't seen him since mlg edits were peak comedy
Nice video keep up the good work
You already know 🤝
Hi, been on your videos like for crazzy for about weeks now. Can gou give advice, new to SIM, would like to get into this. G29/TMX seems to be so far compared to this, and I dont have a rig just a table.
I purchased the t300rs gt edition and was able to find a kit with a shifter as well I’ve had it for 4 years have made multiple additions to so and love it I’ve used the Logitech and compared to that the thrustmaster is by far the better wheel in my opinion one of the best bang for your buck to enter sim racing
I also do agree with the desk clamp just bolt it waste of time
I'm using it with the table clamp and there aren't any problem with it.
The wheel and the T3PA pedal are good too.
Good to know! Thanks.
I was gonna get the T300 RS but found a GREAT deal on Fanatec CSL with the BMW GT2 wheel. Got it for 500 Canadian Dollars with CSL Pedals included.
(Just for reference, the BMW GT2 wheel without wheelbase is priced at 500CAD plus tax)
Omg im jealous now lmao
Sheeesh
I got a t300rs gt ED for 320€. Arrived today, my first ever wheel.
I get the feeling it will be great for the price I paid
The Doug DeMuro drop at 3:00 was a nice touch.
Hey Great video! could you maybe review a Sim-Plicity wheel base? that would be awesome!
Never heard of that 😳 I’ll take a look
I have a t300rs gt I recommend it good vid oc!
Still waiting for the day that you switch to team nasa
dude you are the best
i bought the wheel 2 month ago and its amazing to race and drift it.Setting the wheel up only takes 3 minutes.
Glad you’re enjoying it!
Still waiting on an SF1000 wheel to come available at a reasonable price. Lol.
Good review. Kind of cool that the T300RS has almost the same NM as the unboosted CSL DD.
I'm pretty happy with my T300RS, T-LCM pedals and the TH8A shifter. I'm just lucky I got them before prices got out of hand.
Been waiting for the SF1000 wheel myself 😅
And yes, prices are ridiculous atm :/
@@OCRacing yeah, I saw a few on Amazon for $700-$800 and then there were the two I saw for $1200-$1500. Which is beyond theft. So, I'll just wait. Maybe by the time we get them, they'll be patched for multiple games.
@@purpletigerracing7087 that is… absurd 🙄
I loved this review but I gotta say, feels like there's more production value than before.
Hello I think it’s worth it if you play on pc. It had a recent firmware update 34 which gives you the option of a boost mode which for me felt like double the force feedback on acc and ams2. But you can’t enable it on console which is a real shame.
Old comment, but i need to say: boost option is useless, gives you more resistence, but it's terrible in terms of actual feedback. Maybe can be fun on trucks simulators, not in car simulators.
Having bought this in dec I can say it’s good for its price. It’s no fanatec, but good for a mid-level bang for buck
Do you mind asking how much you paid for it? Prices seem to be all over the place from what I'm hearing.
@@OCRacing it is cheaper now at 550 than what I paid 635 in dec. this was after it hovered in 800 territory all last fall
Since you were asking for people to post pricing. I bought a used base for $198, a used set of T-LCMs for $182, and a used 28GT for $146. Total was $526.79 pretax, $568 with local tax. Feel like I got a decent deal. All pricing is USD.
I upgraded from G29 to T300 Alcantara couple of weeks ago. G29 was ok and it got me into the whole thing, but it really does feel like a toy now compared to T300(except for pedals, they are worse than g29's). If the wheel will last long I don't see myself upgrading it unless I decide to get the whole chair with big screen setup.
Same route I took G27 to T300 and Logitech need a SLAP imo... 15 YEARS selling barely changed G25's in a new plastic molding with some buttons moved about that's not innovation it's stagnation, the ONLY thing that's different between G25 and G932 is helical gears and a hall effect sensor in the wheelbase instead of a potentiometer! and every model the price goes up instead of down..
@@SRS13Rastus How is the reliablity of the Thrustmaster?
@@Ssh52 I have a alcantara version. It’s been in my garage for a few years. It gets below zero I. There and around 90 in the summer at times.
The buttons acted up with the ps3 after a while. Still playable. Never had a problem with the ps 4 at all tho.
It’s been used a lot.
And it’s in my house now. I’d say I got it about 5 years ago.
5e wheel is getting dirty from my hands in the leather.
If you get alcantara maybe use gloves or just know it get dirty after 5years, but you can get a new wheel if you want.
I’m a landscaper and my hands release lots of skin tho.
i found a used t300rs gt with a upgrdaed thrustmaster wheel rim, the t3pa pro pedals for 350 bucks. and i can try it before i buy it so i think thats awesome.
I have a g29 I will be switching pretty soon but im getting the t300 base and buying the tclm pedals separately I don't think the rs or gt pack is worth it do the pedals but thank you for the info
Would you say a used T300 RS GT for 240€, with the Sparco rim R383 and an acelith mod for the rim that comes with the RS GT would be worth it? After that I would go for LC pedals.
I would love this wheel the tx, but my only question is if it still compatible with new xbox Console games because im playing in Console and I want to know if it can still work with new games
great quality vid again!
Thanks! Hope it helped :)
@@OCRacing well I already have the gt version but everything you said about it was true and honest 🔥🔥
Finally yessssss at t300 / tx review
It was probably the most heavily requested wheel for me to review.
i recently bought a T500RS, as an upgrade/replacement for my (now dead) TMX Pro, wonder how it stacks up against modern wheels
Just bought a T300 RS GT used for 200 EUR. Can't wait to install it, given I'm upgrading from a Driving Force Pro :D
Got the t300rs a few days ago ”used” (last owner never got it to work) for 30 dollars! Uppgraded from a g920, mutch better. Realy need some pedals and a shifter tho
How long do you played on the t300 bevor doing the review? And do you noticed some of the common issues that a lot of people have with overheating and loosing ffb while playing longer?
ts-pc/xw is about $900 in my country... and that's when it's on sale.
what do you think is the best upgrade from a t150? Ideally not to overpriced(My t150 broke a few days ago)
i ordered the t300 gt rs for 369 today, is that a good price? i wasn't able to find a dd for my budget. im looking to get back into simracing, so is this a good one? i used to have the g923.
got mine t300rs gt edition for 340€ i´m fine with that price it was huge upgrade from t150 ^^.
