I just ordered one with vintage lume in 6steel and onion crown on the left side. Now come the part of waiting 4-5 weeks. Your video help me decide on this. Cheers Axel!
@F2PJFF no I had problems with the watch as it arrived damaged. The lume was weaker than I thought as well. I got a refund but it was a fight to get that.
Quick question -- It looks like you went with the white markers/hands vs the old radium, but if so what type of lume does yours have? I don't currently see an option for white with C1 or C2 (only BWG9), and yours looks green not blue at all. Maybe Dekla changed a few options?
Did you buy this watch directly from Dekla? If so, how long diid production take? I ordered one on July 7; we're now at 7 weeks (August 24) with no updates from them.
I bought mine as a pre-owned watch, and given, that the owner of Dekla has close connections to Eastern Europe, there may be some delays, of which I do not have any definitive knowledge
@@Watch-Maxe_En to their type Bs, for stowa flieger classic (~1.2k cost), to laco flieger pro/original (~1k euros cost). I know that's considerably more cost than dekla, but nevertheless I'd be curious if the difference can be "felt" in/on hand
@@Watch-Maxe_En I'm sorry, I didn't express myself clearly, poor choice of words. I meant does it "feel cheap" compared to these. like how one can easily "feel" a difference between timex field watch and hamilton one (bigger difference I know, just to paint an example). thanks and best regards
Sorry, as a non-native speaker I may have missed the point. For me, it does not feel cheap at all. Of course you notice differences e. g. at the quality of the leather strap, but on the other side Dekla is at least on par when ist comes to lume …
There's a mistake at around 3:54: the movement is either a Sellita sw200 or an ETA 2824, but not a Sellita 2824 :-). Lovely watch. I will visit Stuttgart this year, COVID willing. Hope to pay them a visit.

Happy if my video could help. Gz to you new watch
@LordSteven00 How is the watch..? Arrived safe the same like you ordered..?

Hi Axel, are you doing a longer term review of this watch? I was wondering how the comfort is with that large crown.
Hi, this is not mine, I received it only for a review. So I cannot do a „one week on the wrist“. This piece has already been sent back.
6 steel case, polished bezel, black dial/BGW-9 with blued hands and bead blasted diamond crown. It looks superb! Great review Axel!
Dekla is really amazing. Worth having a detailed look.
Just ordered mine in 42mm with 6steel. Thanks for review. Can't wait until it arrives!
Congrats.
Bronze case, black dial, with bronze hands looks very nice, and I haven't seen another like it
Agree.
Wow, interesting. I remain struck by the design of the B-Uhr dial, and I'm currently looking at multiple options to buy.
If I would be looking for a Typ B watch, Dekla would be on my short list.

This has been a watch provided by Dekla for the video only and had been returned to Dekla. I do not recall all details.
I have the bronze version with SW300 movement & I love it!
Great watch, gz.

how is it your Dekla watch..? How long until it has arrived..? I have been looking on to their website lately...
I bought mine pre-owned and sold it in the meantime - green is simply not my color.
Would love to see more Deklas like V3 Turbulenz or their Deckwatch
Thank you very much. I am sure that there will be more Dekla watches to come, however over the next few weeks there will be other brands and videos.
how does it "feel" in/on hand compared to laco and/or stowa?
Which one? Laco has at least 3 different lines of flieger watches …

All watches fell good on the wrist, no hot spots, nor discomfort. The differences are in the details like crown, case shape, horns etc.

Thanks for spotting this. Keep my fingers. Crossed for your visit.
I do not like the hour hand so short.
This is something i can fully understand, but it‘s the typical Typ B design.
@@Watch-Maxe_En Pocket watches have historical value as well, but none of them are for me 🤨.
P.D.: I love type A.
I have 4 pocket watches for emotional reasons - none of them is in use ...
@@Watch-Maxe_En I inherited a beautiful Omega 1953, it is my dress piece.
I've been waiting / looking for the type A review but no one seems to have it! 😫
Nice review though
Maybe I can do it later this year.
@@Watch-Maxe_En Great. I couldn't find a better value pilot watch for around $500.
