Hello, I've damaged the bezel insert on my Laco Atlantik 39 RB I have contacted Laco to request a replacement, but unfortunately, they do not offer replacement parts. Laco has quoted me £185 for a bezel insert replacement. Would you happen to know the measurements for the bezel insert? I am hoping to find an alternative online.

Has your opinion changed in any way over the past few years? . One obvious thing that comes to mind is that the price for this watch has gone up- naturally due to inflation- so I would very much appreciate if you would be willing to revisit this brand or even this particular watch, either here, or perhaps in a new video. I purchased this watch in a 42MM directly from Steinhart in Germany. 450 Euros or $460 USD. Took 7 days to receive from Fed Ex international. Well-made watch that looks like an old Rolex! People mistake my Steinhart for a Rolex.

how does it "feel" in/on hand compared to laco and/or stowa?

It’s quite a crappy clock, radio control is not working well and manual setting also sometimes doesn’t work. Do yourself a favor and save more than 300 EUR.

Nice model ! Love that Bund 1550 style. I think 43mm was more "historic". I mean to the original Heuer. Here it's "only" 41 and it makes the case a bit thick. The Heuer has, it's true, a manual winding movement wich make it thinner. I find also the transparent caseback useless...I mean for a military purpose watch.

I have the silver dial version, and agree that it is a beautiful and high quality watch. I considered many alternatives, but the Tourby had better dial and numeral proportions to my eye and was a clear winner regardless of price. The fact that it was cheaper than some of the others was just a bonus.

I really like German watches and own 2 Stowa Marine 36mm pieces, a vintage bronze and the classic roman small seconds. Both are hand wind. Just ordered a Tourby 'Old Military Dark Vintage' in 40mm. I too have a 6.5" (165mm) wrist. I expect it'll fit somewhat big but it's the smallest offered with the ETA Unitas 6498-2 which I've wanted for years. I did also option the closed back and 'light artificial aging' on the case only (not the dial) to hopefully give it more of an authentic look. And to give it an Army 'Trench' look I went with a straight crown and non-pilot cordovan strap. Thanks for the video!

Just managed to snag one of these used, mint condition. Very impressed, indeed. It’s a simple classic design that is strangely hard to find, elsewhere. Short of a Breitling Mosquito or a limited edition Sinn, reverse panda auto chronos with numerals and pilot bezels are surprisingly uncommon. Nice work, Vandaag.

A very unique GMT. I would like to see the real thing and try on my wrist. (I have possessed a LACO type B flieger. A very impressive watch indeed)

Thanks for a very informative video on Guinand. I just purchased Guinand Flying Officer 12h Ref.R112699 (not the automatic) and just love it! In my research, I read that there were only 16 made of my reference number. Is this correct? I would love to see more about the Flying Officer watches.

This watch was labeled to go 25000meter= 2500bar. There is big misconception of the depth of water in resistance about this watch.

Scratch resistant- not so much. Already have one after only 4 months of light use.

Soo well done . Guinand really didn't miss a thing on this masterpiece of a tool watch . Just excellent . I knew I'd like it but it is just a testament to master watchmaking experience . I don't think another watch this good has been produced in this price range . Very lucky watch .

For such a long time I've looked at this beautiful and functional watch and regretted that Archimede chose not to differentiate the 12,00 O'clock index so that at night one can orientate the watch, this small detail is important to me because of my lifestyle. A double lumed index or a deletion of the lume would do it.

Could you make full comparison of Guinand Flight Engineer and Sinn 104? I think it would be interesting to hear from you about these watches when they are one against another.

There weren’t a lot of videos available on the Flight Engineer, so I’m trying to put some up on my own channel… Although, my videos are not as well done as yours. what's great about this review is that it takes the actual usability and readability of the watch as a primary concern. What good is a tool-watch that you can't see? Lume is very important as well for anyone who is active. I've purchased many watches that have lume that last for only a few minutes, and what good is that in the field?

The fact that this Sinn diver is fully tegamented is a big plus in my view. The video shows all the scratches on Stowa. Sometimes you'd need to pay lots of money for small improvements, but in this case, I think, the price difference is justified. I would probably consider the Stowa costing as much as Sinn if only it has been fully hardened to provide scratch resistance to be as good as Sinn has. I would also prefer the date window to be a "big date" and also wouldn't mind Stowa to be less water-resistant but shorter as a result. You see: 15 mm is much too tall in my view because all my water activities limited to swimming in a pool or very occasional snorkeling and even more seldom scuba diving. So, in such a case + tegamentation treatment, I would definitely choose it over this Sinn. Thumbs up for the video, man!
