Hi! I really like the home content ♥️ about the mural you want to do in your office- why don’t you do like an ever evolving mural with all kinds of little drawings/doodles about your shared lives? Sort of like your tattoos? You can always add more, diversify with colours and patterns, it’d be super unique. And maybe Jens could also add some drawings and it’d become a combined big artwork.
just a little tip for when you have to paint but don't have any clothes that can get dirty... turn them inside out! atleast that way, when you do get paint on it, it's not visible on the outside. Good luck with your new home :)
I like when people enjoy the process of fitting out a living space piece by piece and find it so much fun personally. Nice finds so far - digging that couch with the great texture. As for the rug placement: Would loosen it up by just pulling the rug for at least a hand's width away from the couch (towards the hallway, I think) so the rug isn't lining up exactly with its ends. :)

Funny story, my family came from Turkey and we have some funny pictures of them doing house chores in old gowns and suits! It was a very good way to make use of old dress clothes, so good for you having a dress to paint in!! My uncle came over to our house here in Canada wearing a 3 piece suit to cut a big tree down. People thought it strange that a well dressed man was weilding a chainsaw 😂!! Jewel tones in the game room will be lovely 💕

I love the towel hooks in the kitchen! I got an odd sized wire basket as "wrapping" of one of our wedding presents (we love reusable wrapping!) but I loved it too much to use it as wrapping for a future gift to someone else, but had no idea what to do with it. BUT I finally figured it out, I keep mixed matched washcloths folded in the basket on my kitchen counter and use them instead of paper towels :) I was trying to use reusable towels instead of paper towels for forever but didn't have a way to store them in the kitchen that wasn't an eye sore, it has been a game changer!
The peach colored glasses that are irredecent. Please check if they are mercury ware or radioactive. That is a common thing in the USA for older tableware. If it is please don't eat or drink from them. This is Katie , Andy's wife. ( you probably already checked, I was just wanting to make sure.)

I'm so excited for this video bc we are moving in less than 2 weeks!! And we're not taking almost any furniture bc most of what we're using has been borrowed. Also on that note, anyone in the U.S. looking to move long distance, I found a place called upack. It's like pods or packrat but they put your container on trucks that are carrying other things to your destination so kinda seems like a lower carbon emissions way of moving 😀

I might have a wall looking just raw, but it will still ned a protective layer on top I think, transperent, but yeah, just to protect the material. But I love the looks as well 😍

thinking for the future, bare in mind whenever you need to repaint your walls, do not use lots of different tones as its more difficult when keeping a lot of tins of rests of paint, or to remember all tehe tones. just make your life easier

The plate may have lead in the paint which is why you should not eat off of it. I don’t even think it is really safe to handle it.
