I made the first paint holder that I saw somewhere on YT. I like this one so much more. I am going to disassemble the first one and make this one. I am saving my empty toilet paper rolls (covered with decorative or contact paper) to stand up in the paint holder to be able to store things shaped like pens, markers, and tools.
I am gonna glue the mat to the inside of the napkin holder vs the outside ( bottom). This way the weight of the paint bottles will not make it fall off. I like your creativity!
I just read some other comments and saw one from pookie. Putting the plastic inside for support on the 2nd tier should be the fix needed to keep the paint bottles from pushing thru. I will read more comments in the future b4 sending mine. Thanks again
Thank u for sharing, I am going to remake my last one and duplicate.🙂Well Tina I made it but I cut tabs on the cutting board and placed it inside the napkin holder instead of on the outside and it came out great, thanks again. I had made a klieg coffee station with the napkin holders last year still holding well.
I honestly have to say I made the first paint holder and every time I took a paint out one fell out this one is fantastic I just revised mine thank you very much for sharing👍🏽
Clever. I believe I’d put a stopper of some kind just for added strength, under that top row. I think maybe a small piece of sliced open tubing or a sliced open washer secured with the glue. Even wrapped covered wire. Put a generous dollop of glue on that. Then proceed. I love this idea, I’m thinking spices as you mentioned but also medicines or paint brushes or as a pencil holder.
This is a cool craft storage paint idea . I was trying to think of some kind of storage paint I should but this is the way to go . So affordable. Thanks for the Idea
I made one of these and ever since your first videos I have not been able to find the napkin holders anywhere in my area. I checked the website and they are on back order! I guess they became that popular😅I love this idea and hopefully I can make more. I used a placemat from DT instead of the cutting mat but I’m going to have to try that too. You can use the caddy for the disposable coffee cups for the Keurig, saw that idea on another DIY video.
I made this paint storage using the $$STORE SUPPLIES. I WANTED a Stickels storage unit to, so I glued in PVC PIPE FROM HOME DEPOT to keep the 2oz Stickels bottles from falling out. It worked out Great.
Bless your sweet heart! I made your first “paint holder”. I thought it was such a great idea. And like others commented, you can’t move it, without everything falling out. So, that being said, every now and then, when I’m cleaning, or moving things around, and I come across these napkin holders, I GOOGLE, “other uses for dollar tree napkin holders. And I was pleasantly surprised to see your new and improved paint caddy. Thanks so much Tina, I can’t wait to make it.😊
I made one of these the other way but your way is a lot better so I’m gonna take it apart and do it like this one because it’s more stable and they won’t fall out of it so easily . Thanks for the tips I’m now a new subscriber . 😊
I can see that the base of the towel holder supports the plastic you put on the lower level napkin holders, but will there be a problem with the 2nd tier? Will the weight of the paint containers push the plastic down and cause the paint bottles to fall through? Thank you for sharing this project. Marilyn
Is there a reason that you didn't put the mat Inside of the napkin holder? I would think it would give more support inside? Just asking. I do like this style much more then the other style. It can be used for so many items.
This is easy better in my humble opinion. Both were amazing and clever. I love your channel. Your ideas are so clever and simple. Things I can trust myself to do. Thanks!!
Very nice idea I think using clear zip ties I made one and using for my testor model paints but I was thinking next one between the the two handles make a tube to hold paintbrushes or foam brushes maybe a woodbox with drawer to hold them also
I just finished mine and I'm letting the glue dry. I used some chipboard I had handy instead of the plastic, and I also put it on the top of the napkin holder instead of the bottom. The only thing I needed that I didn't have was an extra pair of hands.
I am a first time subscriber. I was looking for a way to store my paint and your napkin holders are sooo inexpensive and looks easy to make. I can’t wait to try it. You have a very nice presentation. And such a kind voice. Thank you for sharing.
Hi Tina. I had sent you an instagram message about the paper towel holder a good year ago. I LOVE the improvement with adding the cutting board pieces on the bottom. Thank you so much.
I really like this! I want it to be taller and have more tiers. Do you think you could add another towel holder to have a taller central pillar to hold more napkin shelves higher up??!
Might be better to have a side by side instead. You would need to go with a third paper towel holder in the middle to stabilize it. That way you could still double the current holding capacity, but either way you would take the ability to move it easily with the supplies stored inside.

Wow that’s a great idea 💡 I love that 👍

Good idea🤗
Put it on a small turn table and you don't have to pick it up. Love it!
The turn table is a great idea🤗🤗

Awesome idea!
Can’t wait to go to the dollar tree now! Thank you!
No problem friend 💕
Love love love it
I have used the cutting mats for so many things but our Dollar Tree's have not had them in for a long time. They are so handy for crafters.
I wonder if a placemat would also work..instead of the cutting mat?
Awesome will definitely try
Omg I wish I would’ve seen this version first that’s so smart imma take my order one apart and redo it
Tina, this is awesome idea to store paints! Will definitely make this! Yes, can be used for spices etc too. Love this! 💯👍❤️🙂
I tried the earlier version of this hated it because bottles kept falling out. Will have to try the new model. Thanks for sharing

Thanks for the paint storage idea
Awesome idea! You don't need to use that many zip ties though. Wow that was a lot of zip ties.
Cute and useful idea.
