You can also take a Dollar Tree food cutting mat, the plastic ones, cut to desired shape and hole punch holes to attach zip ties to the mat and napkin holder. This gives it a sort of solid bottom so stuff does not fall out of the bottom. So if you wanted to use it for nail polish that is a bit smaller than the opening you now have a bottom to keep the nail polish in place.
Ive had the idea of spray painting them gold, attaching them to the wall to use as curtian tie backs. Anthropology has some that reminded me of the shape of the DT napkin holders.
You can also zip tie two together and use them to store cutting boards in your cabinet as well, that’s what I ended up doing bc I was tired of my cutting boards falling all the time.
I bought some to make paint holders and I didn't like the way the paint kept falling out whenever I took one out. I ended up taking it apart and attached them side by side on a length of scrap wood and now they hold all my cookie sheets and cooling racks.
I use mine in my art room to hold canvases, sketch books etc. Or to hold scrapbook paper, cardstock. I tried hanging them on the wall with command hooks...bad idea. The command hooks wouldn't stay stuck!
Hi Callie. Thank you for making a difference by creating videos based on the realities of living. Many youtubers promote minimalism or maximalism. Your methods seam to encompass LIVABLEISM.
My best friend and I have used them for a sandwich holder. You know kinda like those toco holders. Funny idea but it works. Lol. Great video as always. Xo. 💖💄👄
I really liked your ideal to combine them with the towel holder for neil polish, but I really got excited when you used it for K-cups!😊 Then I thought, sit it on/in a turn table, 😊 thanks
Seriously you are beyond creative & organized. I'll be referring back to this when I work to organize my desk & rest of my home. Thank you & God bless you❤🙏
Very creative. You're right. The uses of these napkin holders could have nothing to do with napkins. But can have everything to do with creating space. I love it❤
They also work as roling pin holders. It prevents it from rolling on the floor when you put it down. You can also use it to store the rolling pin on a wall - just put a screw or hook in to hold the napkin holder and then lift it off the wall when in use. I use two napkin holders for my french rolling pin.
You can find super pretty, interesting, vintage napkin holders at thrift stores and yard sales, too. Cheaper than dollar tree most of the time. And if you don't want to use zip ties, wrap wire that matches the metal. Could use jewelry wire...it's really inexpensive. The book holder hanging on the wall is genius! Oh my God!!! And the kitchen utensil holder!!!
You can make WALL SCONCES from them too and they look adorable! Buy Dollar tree wood shelf and mount a napkin holder at the top and one napkin holder at the bottom. Cover the backside of a dollar tree placement with whatever pretty contact paper you want to use and the wrap it around the napkin holders and secure it to the back of the wood board/shelf. Attach a puck light (remote or battery) to it and Bam your done!
Thank you!! This will be perfect for creating an eyeshadow palette holder for my bathroom vanity. I don't have any drawers in the vanity, so because the palettes are large, I have to store makeup in the big, shelf-less cabinet under the sink. Funny how a little thinking outside the box can create a unique decor piece. You should do a book on these projects of yours! Thanks again!! 💖
Great ideas! I use 2 in my kitchen; one to hold napkins and one right next to it to hold mugrugs. And in my playroom I use them to hold templates and rulers for quilting.
What fantastic ideas to do with napkin holders,so glad I came across your video,my daughter & me both crochet what a great way to store our crochet hooks, thank you so much for sharing,😊😊
You missed one of the most popular uses...hotel style towel holders for the bathroom. Lay them on their side, zip tie a stack of them together, then hang it on the wall, so that they stick out like little rounded shelves. Then fit rolled up towels between them.
I know this has probably been thought of by many others, but, using your idea of putting the yarn on them , when you put two side - by - side, it would be nice to put that yarn on the outside edges, too - including the bottom part. That way, if you put narrow items in the "holder" and put them on the wall or your table, etc., the items will not fall out too easily. Just had the idea to maybe use pretty ribbons in place of the yarn. Or maybe somehow attaching a piece of cut - out cardboard or the like to the inside of one side, hang it horizontally on the wall or place it on a table/desk. Then, place small items (pens, pencils, markers , etc., in the individual compartments. TYSM for sharing this video with us.
I was expecting your sideways [ version to be strung together, painted and hold a rolled up hand towel, washcloth, or use that shelf idea, but snug enough for 1 bigger towel. Great 💡 ideas. Thanks Kallie. Shivering black bell thumbs up 😎
Thank you for all the great ways o use the napkin holder!! I have missed you doing diy videos you are very creative! I have been watching your channel since you started i remember when you would taste the doller tree food! I really enjoy your channel !!!Thanks Tracy
Cute! I thought about rolled towels/washcloths. Secure the bottom to the wall and shove a rolled towel in them, you can stack them too. Also when I saw the paint storage I wanted to flip it on its side so I could just pluck out my paint/whatever like a pen cup.
I made a k cup holder w them n paper towel holders. I really like ur idea for device racks n book holder. Could really use an update on storing the books I use every day n the device holder I currently have isnt big enough for all my devices
Such fun ideas, as always! ❤ That last one would make an adorable coffee bar! Using your idea to put the Kcups in the sides, you could add a little jar of sugar and cute coffee mugs on the shelves! 🎉
Wow! So many great ideas! I need to go to DT today anyway and now I have a great way to store my craft paints, paperwork, etc. I love the shelves idea, too. I need to make those to store coffee mugs for my coffee bar. So many uses. Thanks so much for sharing this video!!👍👍👍👍👍❤
I got this idea from you a long time ago! 😁 I use one for my files that you also recommended 😊 To do, file and think about it files. Thanks Kallie! Great ideas!
This is the first video I’ve ever seen where the hacks were actually useful!

Hi Callie. Thank you for making a difference by creating videos based on the realities of living. Many youtubers promote minimalism or maximalism. Your methods seam to encompass LIVABLEISM.
I most liked the idea of using it as a cookbook holder so the pages don't try to flip while you're consulting a recipe. Good one!
This is one of my favorite dollar store hack videos I’ve seen!
Wow! I love all these ideas
My best friend and I have used them for a sandwich holder. You know kinda like those toco holders. Funny idea but it works. Lol. Great video as always. Xo. 💖💄👄

Love the last idea the shelf is a sweet thing to make😊

I have one hanging on the refrigerator with magnetic hooks like you do at 4:00. That’s beside my coffee corner so that’s where my k-cups go.
Ooh I'll make one for my phone by the TP holder.
Hope this day in stock better than some of the other things UA-camrs are showing us to make from Dollar Tree
LOVE this. And it's true, you would probably find something like this at Target & pay tons more.
I love the shelf idea!
Such great ideas! I really like the paint tower incorporating the paper towel holder! All of these are great ideas! Thanks for sharing! ❤

Brilliant ideas!!!!
You are a genius! I am going today in hopes of grabbing some!
Such clever ideas. Thank you for sharing
How pretty they would look as a rainbow. Do each one red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple and because of the arch that’s creating the rainbow. 🌈
That would be great in a child's room with primary colors.
