Thaf paint brush holder fits perfectly in a large coffee can. Pur some pretty walpaper border around the can, or paint it. Make a beautiful brush holder
Sure wish they would make that E6000 tube into a container that is more user friendly. So much is wasted that you can't get out and it is so hard to squeeze and apply to the project.
I have used a pencil or thinner object to wrap the lower part of the tube around so more of the glue is pushed toward the top. It’s not perfect but it helps.
There are so many good ideas in this video. I always see everyone struggling to squeeze the E6000 glue tubes. It might be easier if you get a toothpaste tube squeezer where you can roll the tube as it empties and use old paintbrushes or small silicone spatulas to apply the glue to the projects being worked on. Just a thought. ❤
A couple years ago my husband and daughter built me a craft desk and paint organizer for the wall in our laundry/media room for Christmas. The paint holder holds almost every thing I need including larger shelves at the bottom for my larger bottles of waverly and mod podge. I love it. It’s attached to the wall so it takes up no space and it’s colorized for ease of use.
My craft room can use a facelift, so seeing this video will cause me to look at things @ the Dollar Tree very differently the next time I go. I am very inspired. Thank you!
Love your craft caddy. I use a lazy Susan too, but never thought of making it double decker. Looks like I have a project in my future, lol. One suggestion for the top caddy: use some 1/2”;or 3/4 “ elastic to prevent bottles from flying off. Glue edges to the paint brush caddy legs. That gives you three elastic sections. Keep on crafting!
Loving the video…. Also on the subject of spray paint, I am in the process of buying a paint spraying gun because then I don’t have to buy spray paint anymore! I can put acrylic, latex, water based (custom colors) and it doesn’t have brush marks! I have been down this rabbit hole for a minute 😂
I did the same a couple of years ago because I was using so much spray paint. I love love love my paint sprayer. Easy to use, easy to clean, and I can use it with any paint (interior, exterior, and even varnish finishes), and because it's thinned down, I get even more paint for my money. I have been painting everything in sight since 😂...I have a problem 😂😂
This is easily the best one of these videos I've ever seen. I have a pretty big shopping list for dollar tree tomorrow because I now have over a dozen new organizational methods to build!
Caddie project - In your caddie, are the containers big enough to place mini stamp pads in instead of the paint bottles? I've used the tops to separate smaller items in other types of containers. 2nd project - Are these deep enough to hold markers or paint pens? I would have taken a little more time to glue dots to the bottom of your paint bottles, swatched the bottoms, then put them in color wheel order. I also have a list I use by color order so I can replace it when out instead of forgetting. I can also trend what I use the most & buy more often. Therefore, I buy larger sizes to save $$$. I also put larger bottles of the paint on the shelf sitters glued 2gether side by side. I then made staccked shelves by utilizing the various sized crates glueing eack level together using different which ever side for different levels. I can easily see them. I also use jenga blocks along the edges to keep them from falling off when I take one to use. I very much liked your storage ideas, especially the hanging wall paint shelf. I will surely use the idea for my large paint tubes. Thanks it was fun to watch.😊
Great ideas! By the way, the knot you tied is called a granny knot. It is very similar to a square knot but easier to untie. A square knot is tied right over left and then left over right (or vise versa). A granny knot is tied right over left and then right over left again (or vise versa).
It would be nice if she credits the original creators. I see most of the ideas she said she came up with are copied from other creators. There is nothing wrong to copy but at least give a shout out or credit where credit is due. I feel bad for those who spent time in conceptualizing, doing trial and errors, filming, editing, and then finally uploading but only for others to copy and claim them as their own. Sad part is the copycats often garner more views and revenue than the original creators because copycats like this one does the compilation, which is longer.
I loved ALL of your crafting storage ideas!! I'm considering moving my craft room from a now 2nd dining area to a small 3rd bedroom that has a really small closet. With your ideas, I think I can see some new ways to make fitting most of my craft furniture and supplies fit. Thanks for sharing.
This was really cool. I hope you make more like this! It was just depressing when you see these organizers. Oh throw out this or that. If you have two many. Well, I have a small business. I need more than just the regular crafter. Your video gave me hope. Thank you! 🎉❤
You are an angel!!! I've been trying to organize my craft room on a budget, and this video knocked it out the park with ideas! Womqn, You Rock!! My next Major problem is how to store, YET, display ribbons?? I've tried making a few dowel type stands, but not doing well 🙃!! So please HELP if ya can!! Thank you so much!! Melinda from Maine!!
Wow so many creative ideas. The shelf on the shelf will be super helpful in my craft room. I love the paint brush holders, I actually put mini lazy susan bases on mine to make what is in them even more accessible
This is one of the BEST DIY organization videos ever!! Thanks so much for sharing! Just found your channel and really loving it. That basket in the end was adorable and perfect for gift giving. Thanks again and looking forward to seeing more of your content. 😊❤
They turned out well. Storage is always a good thing. The knot you tied on your rope basket is almost a square knot, but knot quite. What you tied is a granny knot-you went left over right and left over right-which makes it twist. A square knot goes left over right, right over left, and it lies flat and kind of, if you squint, makes a square shape.
I am so excited that I found this channel!❤ You have so many fantastic ideas!❤ so creative!❤ Thank you so very much for sharing all of these ideas!❤ (now to get a craft room to put everything in)! Yes I need a craft room… I have things here and there throughout my house. I will have a craft room one day! These ideas should help me get my things together!❤ Thank you!❤
I always glue those paint brush holders together where they meet. I had a problem with them separating whenever I picked it up. So gluing it with E6000 worked great.
Melissa, I enjoy your videos so much!!! I also appreciate you taking the time to paint these pictures for us and teaching us your techniques. I never thought I would be able to do this at all!!! I hope that you will continue to show us new pictures in the new year. I pray You and your Family have a Wonderful and Blessed New Year!!! ❤ Much Love to You, Marley from Missouri
I prefer pull out drawers to spinning circles because space is used more efficiently, imo. Also, I organize my paints by grouping similar colors together: all blues, aquas, greens, yellows, etc.
I use wire cubes to store paint. Do not assemble to make a cube. Slightly off set the front panel higher than the back panel. A small piece of wood in between and secured with screws or long construction staples will hold them apart. Apply to the wall using your favorite method. The off set allows the paint to flow to the bottle top and keeps it from hardening. The slight tilt prevents them from falling out. I have around 75-100 bottles stored on four panels. Extra spaces hold my eyeglasses, scissors, brayers. Zip ties are used to secure baskets along the bottom as well as my repurposed tall and somewhat flat rectangle shaped trash can. The pencil containers she used in this video…I burnt a hole and bent wire to make a hook. Those too are hung on my rack system. Everything I need within four foot square space over my work bench. Hope this helps someone!
I absolutely love your craftiness! On the 1st item u made. I would probably change 1 thing, I think that living in a tiny home has made me see things that others may not, so I would just push the center (bottom shelf) boxes closer together because there's wasted space in the middle that can't b used at all. Other than that, it's awesome! I love all your ideas and plan on implementing a lot of them! TYSM for sharing your crafts!
Thanks for the dollar tree peg board. You are the first I’ve seen showing it painted with a gold like frame. And never knew they have shelves. I can use that in my small kitchen space. WOW.
I think their distance helps keep the top and bottom balanced and supported better. You could use the center space if you wanted to lay tools horizontal across and through the middle. Stack pens or markers or something.
I've never thought to use those bath salts in the shower.. nice!! I used to color all the time, and have many books. I'm going to have to pull them out and color . It definitely is relaxing!!! And you look adorable in that headband!! 😉😉👍😁👍🤗🤗
You are brilliant! I am so excited and inspired. I am organizing my studio, pantry, and garage at the moment and you have provided me with so many solutions! Thank you so much. ❤ Shirley
I think it’s awesome! If I could make a suggestion… you could use some containers or plastic plant pots into the sections with your color pencils and markers so they don’t fall down.
Everything is fantastic, I love them all, I’m going to use some if not all of them can hardly wait. THANKS SO MUCH FOR SHARING WITH US. 👍👍18 times just great. ♥️♥️
You should also glue the small square transparent boxes (from DT) around the paintbrush organizer. That way your paint bottles won't move when you rotate the diy.
Just a little tip when you’re attaching all of these little compartments together, maybe you can use the little tiny clamps they sell at the dollar store
Dollar Tree... spray paint... E 6000... 🫣 pump-y bottles for alcohol... Kilz II Primer... TEMU?!!? 😳 Oh my GOSH!! 🤯 Honey, you are a woman after my own heart!! 🥰 I think that my favorite idea iissss... 🤔 ALL OF THEM!! 😁😂🤣 ... honestly!! For all the times I've seen those paint holders made from paper towel holders and napkin holders, I'll be darned if I wasn't at the Tree the other day trying to remember how it held the paint 🤦🤷 ...and here you are, reminding me. 😉 And so far, and I'm about half way through the video, I think, one of your best tips has been using a DT finger protector to smooth the hot glue like you would smooth caulk on tile! 🤯 Simple, but did it occur to me? No, ma'am, it did not! 🤦 LOL, I just spotted your Mr. Pen moustache sticker!! Girl, STOP!! 🙌🙌 It's Christmas morning - MERRY CHRISTMAS to you and yours. Aren't the kids supposed to be up before the parents? 🤔🤷 Oh well! 😂😂 Thanks for all the wonderful ideas - I do love me some storage! This vid goes straight into my "Craft Room Organization" folder for sure! New subbie here! Greetings from the southern California desert, MK 🤗❤️🌵🎄🌵❤️🤗
Ditto to everything you just said. I love the craft ideas and was pleasantly surprised when this video popped up. My craft room is a poor work in progress, so I get inspired seeing these ideas.
This is great. Do you have think you could have tilted the 3 hole storage containers just a bit so that when you pull out a paint bottle the others dont tend to fall out when you lull from the bottom?
I loving these all but my favorite has to be the organizers you made using the chargers. This is on my to do list, lol.. Thank u for all these incredible idea's.
I got soooo many ideas from your video!! Especially the rope basket!!! My only critique of it would have been to iron the pillow case before putting it permanently into the basket. I'm thinking of doing something like that for all the doggie toys we have accumulated!!!!
Oh my gosh girl, this was by far the best organization, not to mention genius ideas on the cheap. No, I have seen probably in the last two years!! Great ideas. Thank you so so much for sharing. I’m a new subscriber count. Wait to check out your channel and other videos. I am ready to get to organizing, and I have all of those things in my shop / craft room… L O L Minecraft room used to be my hair salon, so I tend to say shop a lot. But seriously, I cannot wait to apply every single one of these methods to my space. They are so simple, but genius!! Love them all. !!
I bought a bunch of those tall pencil things, mostly for dry erase marker/chalk storage, but I never considered connecting them. Brilliant! ☺ Putting everything back: also brilliant. Which is why I'm guessing I never get around to it! 😅
I love the craft caddy! I wonder if you could use one or two of the plastic lids that came with the clear holders to glue on top for the second level instead of a piece of cardboard? Just a thought. Really loved how you painted it all one neutral color too! Going to make this for my daughter who loves to paint.
I’d better get started putting my dollar tree stuff away! Thank you, but it’s a reminder that I’ve spent a lot and I need to get rid of a lot.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for all of your ideas! May I suggest you use vinyl or nitile gloves when spray painting? There is also a trigger attachment that you can buy to put on top of the nozzle when spraying.
Love the craft paints storage. Mine are currently in bins and are hard to find the right colors when needed. I'm definately going to the Dollar Tree to find a new set up like yours. Thanks for sharing.
I am so happy that I stumbled across your UA-cam video. Oh and yes I did subscribe to your channel as well. I love your storage and organizing ideas for the craft room. I am going to make some of these for my craft room, sewing room, office space, AND my grandchildren's playroom.❤❤❤
E6000 and glue gun glue is how I make alot of my crafting projects. It's almost an instant bond. Specially if I"m gluing containers to the side of my shelfs etc. I did this years ago but with the 3 (it had qtip, swaps in it)containers from dollar tree. You can fit 10 containers on one lazy susan spinner from dollarama (so you can get estimate 40 container spots. One was 3 tier and the top was a box where i put all my papercutters, rullers etc. At first I used it to hold all my washi tape, but now I use it for random stuff like markers paints, stamps etc. The containers at dollar tree had tops, so you can close them and spin the heck out of it and nothing will fall out lol. I had each layer set to spin separately also. I like your idea also very nice.
Im a new viewer from northeastern North Carolina. You're so creative! Thanks. Watching you has caused me to finally, after years of struggling and being unproductive, get myself organized!! I appreciate your inspiration. HAPPY NEW YEAR! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Sorry, but i thought this video was going to be very tacky when you first started, but was hoping you would pull it out of the nose dive it seemed to be going into! But now I have to admit that when you were finished painting it, I thought it was really very pretty too, Just like you said it would be.😇 Now I’m to going to make it myself if I can find the parts anyway, otherwise I’ll just improvise! I appreciate your taking the time to make this video. It turned out to be very useful in the end!😢 Plus, I have been looking for something just like that, because I did not want a lot of separate containers taking up my precious work space, as I only have a studio that’s 10X10 sq ft. We downsized a few years ago & no longer can have a huge studio like I used to have w/room to teach classes like before, so your idea will be perfect for me!😊
Thaf paint brush holder fits perfectly in a large coffee can. Pur some pretty walpaper border around the can, or paint it. Make a beautiful brush holder
Sure wish they would make that E6000 tube into a container that is more user friendly. So much is wasted that you can't get out and it is so hard to squeeze and apply to the project.
I found this glue, Beacon -Quick Grip All-Purpose contact cement. I don't need the hot glue. It holds, is weather, and water proof.
I purchased a toothpaste "squeegie" to put on the end of tubes of glue...it works fantastic & gets every drop out!
@@suesherwood2948Where did you find the toothpaste squeezie? I've seen them on craft shows but have not come across any in the stores.
I have used a pencil or thinner object to wrap the lower part of the tube around so more of the glue is pushed toward the top. It’s not perfect but it helps.
I use the the toothpaste pusher too but it seems my E6000 tube always cracks at the bottle and it oozes out of that it’s so annoying!!
I use a little spatula type thing I got in the makeup section of DT to spread glue - so easy.
Great idea!
There are so many ideas she shares... I'm a first-time crafter and I have to use my bedroom 11x10.. Wish me luck
Excellent tip! Thank you ❤
Great ideas!!..I bought 8 of those cutting mats and duct tape them together on the back side..made it a much bigger mat
You have fabulous ideas, but the basket is really beautiful
Thank you for sharing somethings that are practical and affordable! All DIYer's need to be able to be organized and I truly thank you for this.
You really provided us with some useful craft storage solutions and I can’t wait to get to my dollar tree for my supplies. Thanks for sharing.

I'd love to see that - wall space I have, desktop space not so much.
Hi! If you have some time, would you please post pictures of your craft table that was crafted just for you?
Thank you!

I second that. Would love to see your storage shelf. My craft closet is shared with the back of AC duct. Little desk space, more wall space. 😊
Love the top of the lazy susan shelf. I like the idea of getting to put paint on it. That can be for the paint you're using on your project .
This is easily the best one of these videos I've ever seen. I have a pretty big shopping list for dollar tree tomorrow because I now have over a dozen new organizational methods to build!

I would have taken a little more time to glue dots to the bottom of your paint bottles, swatched the bottoms, then put them in color wheel order. I love craft organizing almost as much as {well, maybe more than 😁} the actual crafting. Fantastic ideas, sweetie!
Ok, so I'm not the only one! 😂😂 Love it!!! 😍😍😍
I'm going to go and get me some of those DT's supplies so I can organize my craft room. Awesome ideas. Thank you
Great ideas! By the way, the knot you tied is called a granny knot. It is very similar to a square knot but easier to untie. A square knot is tied right over left and then left over right (or vise versa). A granny knot is tied right over left and then right over left again (or vise versa).
Square knot holds and Granny knot doesn't.
Square knot, " right over left and left over right," from my Girl Scout days.
Organizing is extremely hard for me. You make it so simple. Thank you.
Loved using a pillowcase to line the basket.
I use pillowcases on my outdoor bistro tables too! So easy to cover and remove for cleaning.
I am in the process of setting up a craft room. This video was so helpful! Thank you!
Love all these ideas...will be trying several for my craft room
Very cleverly arranged your craft room congrats
Beautiful dollar tree hacks
All of your ideas were creative and had a lot of organizational ideas with a professional look

That E7000 glue from Temu in small tubes make it great to work on small areas ! 🎉
Dollar Tree has one that works just as good in smaller tubes as well
They turned out well. Storage is always a good thing. The knot you tied on your rope basket is almost a square knot, but knot quite. I love the bucket, rope & pillow case DIY idea. That's genius!!! 🙂

Agreed! Great idea but couldn’t believe the paints weren’t organized as the caddy was loaded 🤷♀️
When I do that, I also try to make a rainbow with them. It's fun for me!!!

I go for plastic boxes with straight sides. I keep the paint coloized and can carry the box anywhere.or slide it on a shelf.

You are brilliant! I am so excited and inspired. I am organizing my studio, pantry, and garage at the moment and you have provided me with so many solutions! Thank you so much.

I love the project that you did with the pencil holders and I love love love, Heirloom Trad.paint!
I think it’s awesome! If I could make a suggestion… you could use some containers or plastic plant pots into the sections with your color pencils and markers so they don’t fall down.

Just a little tip when you’re attaching all of these little compartments together, maybe you can use the little tiny clamps they sell at the dollar store

I like it you did a wonderful DIY I love the pegboard I don’t own too many paints, but I enjoyed the craft catty
What a wonderful organizer
Several ideas I can incorporate into my art room. Thanks.
I bought a bunch of those tall pencil things, mostly for dry erase marker/chalk storage, but I never considered connecting them. Brilliant! ☺
Putting everything back: also brilliant. Which is why I'm guessing I never get around to it! 😅
The paintbrush holder she used also holds 49 cricut pens so the tips are down. I have 2 of them. Great video! Thank you for sharing!
Love that organized craft room!
Thank you for some great ideas! Anything that helps me organize my craft area is awesome!
Great projects, thanks for sharing.❤😊
I love the craft caddy! I wonder if you could use one or two of the plastic lids that came with the clear holders to glue on top for the second level instead of a piece of cardboard? Just a thought. Really loved how you painted it all one neutral color too! Going to make this for my daughter who loves to paint.
I’d better get started putting my dollar tree stuff away! Thank you, but it’s a reminder that I’ve spent a lot and I need to get rid of a lot.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you everything is beautiful
Thank you for all of your ideas! May I suggest you use vinyl or nitile gloves when spray painting? There is also a trigger attachment that you can buy to put on top of the nozzle when spraying.
Loving this video... I think my fav is the paint ladder ❤ excellent idea
So MANY clever ideas! Thank you!
Love the craft paints storage. Mine are currently in bins and are hard to find the right colors when needed. I'm definately going to the Dollar Tree to find a new set up like yours. Thanks for sharing.
You have great ideas. You also are very personable and honest. I'm adding you to my list of crafters!!!
This is fantastic; one thing I would change is glass to plastic with a weighted bottom; because if this fell over a glass could break.
You could use foam tape or squares to stick them together. I find they stick very good to most items.
All your ideas are quite practical 🥰 and economical 💵
I really needed these ideas.
I love the lazy-susan. All of these ideas are amazing! I can't wait to make them for my craft room.
I am so happy that I stumbled across your UA-cam video. Oh and yes I did subscribe to your channel as well. I love your storage and organizing ideas for the craft room. I am going to make some of these for my craft room, sewing room, office space, AND my grandchildren's playroom.❤❤❤
Awesome!! Ideas for organizing
Great ideas! Thank you for sharing.
You’ve given some Great ideas…Thanx-a-Bunch!
But now I have to admit that when you were finished painting it, I thought it was really very pretty too,
Just like you said it would be.😇
Now I’m to going to make it myself if I can find the parts anyway, otherwise I’ll just improvise!
I appreciate your taking the time to make this video. It turned out to be very useful in the end!😢
Plus, I have been looking for something just like that, because
I did not want a lot of separate
containers taking up my precious work space, as I only have a studio that’s 10X10 sq ft.
We downsized a few years ago & no longer can have a huge studio
like I used to have w/room to teach classes like before, so your idea will be perfect for me!😊
Thank You For Sharing
Awesome video thanks
