Pulled the win con room in draft, glad to see a full deck that uses it. Really want to try this out!
I imagined Tarnation Vista might have a home in Modern Dredge, since dredge can get many monocolored permanents of different colors on the battlefield for minimal mana.
MASSIVE punt on Seth part in the mill match. The fact that he didn't even check his 'yard to see what he lost was a major slip of disipline.
This is one of the few decks out of duskmourn that I thought could be really interesting either as a commander deck or just standard.

I feel like cutting a color (except for a basic and another fixing land maybe) would increase consistency. I'd say either black or red would be easirst to cut.
I actually played this at pre release in temur and won 3-0 with only the alt wincon. It was surprisingly versatile.
If you make this into a Commander deck, you need to include Door to Nothingness for flavor

The best part is that, since Sagas and Rooms are both Enchantments, Marina can lead a deck like that very easily.

However, I wonder if it would be possible to make the deck competitively viable.
The real against the odds here is the fact that you happened to play against someone from the crew. it's either a "what are the chances" moment, or nobody is playing mtga but content creators. I know I'm not playing since mtga looks worst for me every time.
I play like Pioneer (I guess its explorer on Areana) like once a week and I run into the same 5-6 players each game. Nobody is playing Arena because the game isn't fun and hidden MMR system even in casual games just cause you to play the same decks over and over.

I'm strangely disappointed that rooms weren't a theme in MKM, the Clue set, and that DSK doesn't have a wall subtheme. Like, Tyvar, just punching a bunch of different kinds of walls.
Seth you were absolutely correct on your suspicions about abhorrent oculus!! I've been using since it's release and it's an absolute bomb. Being only 3 mana you can reanimate it with super cheap white spells or find a way to put it face down with all the manifest dread and cloak available in blue/green. Can't wait to see the video about this card you will smash the competition. The simic build I've made gives you way more card advantage with all the manifest dread whereas the azorious build gives you speed and some better removal options with you being able to get the oculus out turn 2 sometimes.

Tarnation Vista is looking a lot better in rooms than Three tree city looked in any of the Bloomburrow typal decks, I feel.
The funniest part of the Seth vs Crim match is that Crim played like 8 games with that mill deck and lost pretty much all of them except this one

the problem with all the enchantments in the set, i see rooms getting worse and worse as the days (days not weeks) go on and as a side note graveyard stuff. ppl will go all in in exile cards and destroy enchantments, for the enchantment creatures and rooms. and the exile is even good for everything graveyard stuff (if it was on the field).
