To be fair to Harry, he had no way of knowing that (even without having his father pretty much be in his ear leading him down the dark path) so it isn't entirely unreasonable for someone to think Harry, given the information he had at the time, made the best decision he could? Though it's entirely possible it turns out the sword or something else caused peter's spidy sense to not work properly (not out of the realm of possibility) which would mean Harry still made a pretty reasonable choice the majority of other people, including other heroes would make. If you disagree I'd love to hear an explanation of your perspective if you're comfortable sharing that.
with all the multi-verse shenanigans, i wish they'd turn villains good more often (or heroes bad). it doesnt need to happen all the time, but its so cool to reimagine some of the classics that way.
Peter lecturing Harry that they shouldn’t kill because they’re supposed to be heroes and need to be better is exactly why he was on the Maker’s list while Harry wasn’t. No matter how much good Harry tries to do with the mantle, it’s the same in every universe. Spider-Man will always be a hero while the Green Goblin will always be a villain.

I made the comparison because his suit resembles that of daredevil and he referred to himself as the velvet blade. I know the character is based on the actual black cat with a twist. I thought is was an interesting line from the character while being dressed the way he was.
I think they should use the Ultimates universe as a short run every decade or so to explore new ideas and then bleed them into the main 616 when they see what works.
For the seventh issue, I like that Harry introduced Peter to Otto Octavius, who told them what their suits are made of and that their suits were Stark tech, before they decided to have a fight to test themselves and their power set. Also, Peter having average intelligence, which is interesting. I also like that Gwen and MJ have a chat about buying a building. I hope we get to see MJ tell Gwen that Peter told her about his Spider-Man identity in the next issue or so, so that they can talk and share secrets with each other and have their husbands’ back no matter what. I even like that Uncle Ben and J. Jonah Jameson recruited Robbie Robertson to join their newspaper team before Robbie told them that he is going to be their belly of the beast to gain intel since they’re best friends who got each other’s back no matter what. Overall, this is a great comic! For the eighth issue, I like that after what happened in the last issue, we get to see Peter, Otto, and Harry interact with Tony, who told them to prepare to fight the Maker (who will make his return in 2025) before we get to see Peter interact with the suit and treat it as a friend and family member, the Parkers and J. Jonah Jameson go to an arcade to celebrate May’s birthday, Jonah telling Richard about his childhood before he gave a book that we written to him, and Kingpin assembling the Sinister Six. Overall, this comic is great! For the ninth issue, I like that Ben and J. Jonah invited MJ to show her what they’ve done with their Paper and asked her what they need to do in order to improve it. I also like that Otto created an Iron Spider suit (which looks cool and anime like) for Peter before Peter got a new spandex suit (which looks cool). I even like that Peter and Harry were able to work together to fight crime and encounter the Black Cat before they have and reconciled their personal conflicts and Peter asked Harry if he can join him and his family for Christmas. Overall, this comic is great!

I like how in that last act of the issue Harry’s suit is the Hobgoblin’s color scheme. It might be that it’ll be the hobgoblin but Harry will get a suit that turns into green goblin or venom.

I loved Today's issue. Loved the design of the Spider Armor, hope Peter uses it someday. And loved that Peter and Harry have a different approach on crime fighting. It on the next issue looks like the Green Goblin is going to kidnap J Jonah Jameson.
Besides Pete's original Spidey suit, his other most iconic look is the Symbiote costume or black and white one. Not the Iron Spider. Sure, it looks cool, but ask most anyone, and they say the symbiote costume after the original
My biggest issue with this Ultimate run is there’s no reasoning to what makes Peter special yet. His suits made by Otto and given to him by Stark seemingly are the basis for his powers, as we’ve not been shown any usage of powers outside of the suits. And we’ve yet to even see the smarts of Peter beyond him being a teacher, which isn’t exactly calling for him to be one of the smartest people on earth. Nor is he actively assisting in developing his own suits beyond color schemes. The altercation with Velvet Blade is the first time we’ve gotten a showcase of his morality, where Velvet thinks he’s dead to rights and Peter isn’t even questioning killing him, for it to be a rift between him and Harry for his willingness to kill. I’m yet to not feel like anyone could’ve been given the suit and they could do the same things were seeing Peter do. His moral compass needs ti take center stage to showcase that who Peter is, is why he’s at the top of the Maker’s list.
in issue 2 Peter described the differences to his body, including his enhanced strength. MJ also noticed the physical differences to Peter’s body, these are clear signs that Peter’s powers come from him and not just the suit. Even Harry notices in issue 4 and compares himself as just a guy in a suit to Peter actually having abilities Peter in this verse isn’t a teacher and he isn’t a genius, he’s a photojournalist for the Bugle and based on all the issues so far he would appear to have average intelligence the reasoning for peter being at the top of the list isn’t clear and personally i think it’s just glaze for the character as spidey is Marvel’s most popular superhero
@@issy785 you are correct with the work at the bugle, I seem to have gotten that aspect of the story messed up with another. But those mentions of his new physical abilities aren’t anything special that couldn’t of been given to the average Joe to be Spider-Man in this universe. MJ noticing he’s now strong opposed to a week before, being a journalist that didn’t work out.. any man hitting the gym would get that compliment from their spouse. And with both suits for Harry and Peter were told that they both are in safe mode. This should be a issue for Harry but that shouldn’t be one for Peter, if his power is from the spider bite and not the suit. Kingpin broke them both off to barely escape. It doesn’t seem logical that turning off the safety mode should make the difference for Spider-Man in their next fight, rather fighting experience should be the difference more than anything for Peter. Peter’s moral compass, in any universe, is the only difference between him and anyone that could’ve been bit and made Spider-Man. They need to showcase it to really sell up the reason why he’s at the top of the makers list.
Hearing Peter was the top of the list just shows you how dangerous Peter is intellectually to The Maker's ambitions and plans for this world. Whether or not he went to higher education for sciences, I suspect Peter has a mind plenty sharp enough to still learn and adapt.

What I love about Ultimate Spider Man is that these are adults. They have their issues but they approach it with a mature attitude. These are adults. And it’s great.

I loved Today's issue. Loved the design of the Spider Armor, hope Peter uses it someday. And loved that Peter and Harry have a different approach on crime fighting. It on the next issue looks like the Green Goblin is going to kidnap J Jonah Jameson.
Besides Pete's original Spidey suit, his other most iconic look is the Symbiote costume or black and white one. Not the Iron Spider. Sure, it looks cool, but ask most anyone, and they say the symbiote costume after the original

Peter is everyone's cannon event
My biggest issue with this Ultimate run is there’s no reasoning to what makes Peter special yet. His suits made by Otto and given to him by Stark seemingly are the basis for his powers, as we’ve not been shown any usage of powers outside of the suits. And we’ve yet to even see the smarts of Peter beyond him being a teacher, which isn’t exactly calling for him to be one of the smartest people on earth. Nor is he actively assisting in developing his own suits beyond color schemes. The altercation with Velvet Blade is the first time we’ve gotten a showcase of his morality, where Velvet thinks he’s dead to rights and Peter isn’t even questioning killing him, for it to be a rift between him and Harry for his willingness to kill.
I’m yet to not feel like anyone could’ve been given the suit and they could do the same things were seeing Peter do. His moral compass needs ti take center stage to showcase that who Peter is, is why he’s at the top of the Maker’s list.
in issue 2 Peter described the differences to his body, including his enhanced strength. MJ also noticed the physical differences to Peter’s body, these are clear signs that Peter’s powers come from him and not just the suit. Even Harry notices in issue 4 and compares himself as just a guy in a suit to Peter actually having abilities
Peter in this verse isn’t a teacher and he isn’t a genius, he’s a photojournalist for the Bugle and based on all the issues so far he would appear to have average intelligence
the reasoning for peter being at the top of the list isn’t clear and personally i think it’s just glaze for the character as spidey is Marvel’s most popular superhero
@@issy785 you are correct with the work at the bugle, I seem to have gotten that aspect of the story messed up with another. But those mentions of his new physical abilities aren’t anything special that couldn’t of been given to the average Joe to be Spider-Man in this universe. MJ noticing he’s now strong opposed to a week before, being a journalist that didn’t work out.. any man hitting the gym would get that compliment from their spouse. And with both suits for Harry and Peter were told that they both are in safe mode. This should be a issue for Harry but that shouldn’t be one for Peter, if his power is from the spider bite and not the suit. Kingpin broke them both off to barely escape. It doesn’t seem logical that turning off the safety mode should make the difference for Spider-Man in their next fight, rather fighting experience should be the difference more than anything for Peter.
Peter’s moral compass, in any universe, is the only difference between him and anyone that could’ve been bit and made Spider-Man. They need to showcase it to really sell up the reason why he’s at the top of the makers list.

Hearing Peter was the top of the list just shows you how dangerous Peter is intellectually to The Maker's ambitions and plans for this world. Whether or not he went to higher education for sciences, I suspect Peter has a mind plenty sharp enough to still learn and adapt.
With how easily the Spider Fam figured out Peter’s identity I think this Sinister Fam will have no trouble doing the same

What I love about Ultimate Spider Man is that these are adults. They have their issues but they approach it with a mature attitude. These are adults. And it’s great.
When Peter and Harry are talking about the new suits after Peter gets his spandex suit. All I can hear is Dr. K from Power Rangers RPM, "IT'S NOT SPANDEX!"
