    My garage and my mopars are a excellent source of relaxation and enjoyment. I can walk in, that garage/old mopar interior smell hits me and my blood pressure just drops. I highly recommend it. Get better soon buddy!

      Hello Dave. Thanks for the comment and the well wishes. I completely agree with the garage being my relaxation space. I have been solely working on the car the last few weekends and my wife even commented how much more relaxed I was after finishing up each night. I also got a crap ton finished compared to when I am shooting videos.

    Love you videos Sean. I'm currently restoring a 1968 Dart convertible. Your videos have been an great help. It took me about 9 months to get the upholstery for my back seat. I hope everything turns out good for your health. Take care!

      Hello JJ. Welcome to the channel and thanks for the well wishes. I'm glad I could be helpful. Don't hesitate to contact me via email should you have questions. It's on my channel page. I ordered my seat covers from Pro Fit Auto interiors. They said expect them in November though they "might" be here sooner. I'm not holding my breath.

    I myself have had a pretty intense scare like what you described. I hope you feel better and find your relaxation this summer.

      Thanks Joe. I appreciate the well wishes. Turns out It was a form of arrythmia brought on by a combination of too much caffein and stress. Had to lose the caffeinated coffee and dial back on the stress level. We'll still keep working on the car. I plan to video as well but not trying to keep a schedule. Hope to see you back when I release another!

    Coming along well!! I really find working on my car relaxing as well. It’s my late night escape when I need some peace. Hope all is well!

      @idaholineman5788 I appreciate the well wishes. The last few weeks have been the most chill I have been in a long time.....aside from the first 3 days of no caffeinated coffee. Those were an image of a grouchy bastard. But banging out so much work in 3 weekends was super peaceful and I really felt like I was making good progress. It made my goal of getting the car back on the road this summer feel like it is in reach. Getting excited to drive her again.

      Thanks. Probably a side effect of being an engineer in my day job. Unfortunately, it didn't work with the new mounts as they are offset front to back to allow for more positive caster. All the rest of my measurements lined up though so here's to hoping I didn't ruin it. lol.

    Health is the most important thing. It looks like your welding skills have greatly improved and you have completed a lot of work on the Dart. Hope you get better soon.

      Thanks Chumley! I have been working on my butt welds. I still have issues with blow through if I try to run a bead on a but weld on anything thinner than 1/8 inch so I have been sticking with stitching them. I have also been studying how to tell if my voltage and wire speed settings need adjustment. I do still catch myself with too much "stick" out. It's usually so I can see that I am welding, especially in tight spots. The more I practice, the better I will get though. Now I just need to cut out and rework the first patch on the frame rail. that was my first time welding and it's bad. Really bad. Lol.

      I am. It turned out to be a form of arrythmia. I seem to have figured out what triggers the condition and have been feeling much better this last week. Gotta give up a few of my favorite things though....like coffee. Booooo!

      @@tonytavolieri1663 Thanks Tony. Mine ended up being a form of arrythmia. We are slowly figuring out what triggers it and avoiding those things. Unfortunately for me, coffee is one of those things. Stress is another. I have definitely been feeling better this last week though. I'm sure I'll get back to Dart things sooner rather than later.

    are there any upholstery shops in your area. they should be able to match your seat covers and sew it exactly like the originals.

    • @MontsweagGarage
      @MontsweagGarage  28 днів тому

      @ 007bird Welcome and thanks for the comment. I visited the only shop near me. They wanted $4K to recover my seats. I would rather wait and pay 25% of that. Besides, I want to do as much of the work as I can myself. I like to learn to do new things. =)

      @@MontsweagGarage my main problem is it's carburetor and I really don't want to go to efi but I'm not a carburetor tunning person and it would be more reliable on the efi set up

    • @MontsweagGarage
      @MontsweagGarage  Місяць тому +1

      @ricardoguerrerojr80 I definitely understand that. I had a hell of a time with the carb on my 273. Mostly because I'm a beginner, and carb tuning seems to be more of an art. I am going to EFI on the Dart so I don't have to worry about tweaking it as conditions change. I want the Dart to be hassle free when I am done so I can focus on the next project.

    Do you have anxiety?

    • @MontsweagGarage
      @MontsweagGarage  28 днів тому +1

      Hello Allie! Welcome to the channel and thank you for the comment. I do not have anxiety. I had a small bit of social anxiety when I was younger, like high school years, but 23 years in the U.S. Navy got me well past that. My issue ended up being an arrythmia that seems to run in the family. My grandmother has it as well and she is still kicking at 90 so it's manageable.
