So far so good! Sorry to hear about the grinder mishap. I think everybody has one of those days, Usually by the time you make a second trip to the ER you sort of figure out what not to do. Anyway, speedy recovery and I'll look forward to the rest of the project.
@robotcantina8957. Welcome to the channel and thank you for the comment. I hope to back at it this weekend. We'll see how well the stitches get things held together. I really wanted to finish that video with a completed floor all primed and ready for paint. Such is life. I plan to check out your channel more this weekend. The 670cc Predator powered Renault looks interesting. I hope you are enjoying the content so far and I look forward to see you you here again!
I thought the video quality was very good but I wouldn't say your video quality in the past was not good. Keep up the great work, heal up and look forward to continued progress on the Dart when you are better.
Welcome Back Tony. It doesn't help that my dumb ass took the guard off, as it was blocking a cut I wanted to make, then promptly lost it. Already looking for a replacement. What did you think about the quality of this video? Better or worse than previous?
@mr.wallbangr9896 Welcome and thank you for the comment! I am glad you enjoyed the video. I will probably do an update on the floors in a short. The next long form video will be restoring the dash. Weather...and finger allowing, I hope to get it done in the next couple of weeks.
Hello Paul and welcome to the channel! Thank you for the comment! I think it was a decent job for the first time doing it. I think I could have done better....and I would have loved to actually finish the job, but it was a great learning experience.
Welcome to the channel Apple and thank you for the comment! I hope to avoid the same fate for my left hand. I make my living working with my hands so I really can't afford to mess them up to often. lol. I have learned a lot by watching Fitzee. I still need a ton of PRACTICE (had to make the firewall patch twice) but if not for him, Puddin's Fab Shop, and Make it Kustom. I wouldn't have the slightest idea what I need to do when it comes to body and frame work. Thanks again for dropping in and I hope to see you around.
Welcome back Dale! This one will. Just took a small chunk out of the knuckle. Went down to the bone though so it'll be a week or so before I can get back to car work.
Good morning, JJ. Welcome to the channel, and thanks for the comment! I picked up the floor pans from Jegs. They are Sherman brand and if I had it to do again, I would I would have gotten the AMD pans. And when Jegs sends you two of the same pans, like they did with me, know that Sherman labeles them backwards. The right pan is for the drivers side and vice versa no matter what Jegs tells you.
@Biggdogg59 You are most welcome JJ. I try to be helpful, if nothing else, you can learn what NOT to do. Lol. Seriously though. If there is anything specific you want to see, let me know. I may not get to it right away but I will do my best to cover it, current condition of my car allowing.

Nice job with the fab, just have to watch the grinder.
Thanks Chumley! Welcome back. Did you notice anything I could have done better? What did you think of this video overall?

Thanks Chumley. I appreciate the feedback. We'll get back to it when it's safe to do so.
Good job on the floor for your first time!! Sorry about the trip to emergency! That's why we call it the death wheel!

The video quality was better ( in my opinion)

Subbed cause the Fitzee reference! Those angle grinders do sure have a bite don't they? Sometimes I think my left hand is mostly scar tissue!

Fingers grow back, right?

Nice job, may I ask you where you purchased the floor pans? Thanks!

@@MontsweagGarage thank you, really enjoying your videos. I'm working on a 1968 Dart convertible and you've been a big help..so thank you!

Thanks for showing how not to use a grinder. The car looks OK though.
Always happy to be helpful. Lol. Things came out pretty good once I finished up.
