i got a chance to see NIN back in 05 and they kicked major ass, no joke...the best show i have ever seen in my life hands down. now there commin back to Austin and i get to see them again with way better seats. LOL and my girlfriend loves this song and she loves it when i sing it to her. we both can't wait untill they play this song....goood times
This is my go too live Closer. I've seen NIN multiple times have 2 or 3 live versions mp3 but this by far is the best live version. In the 90s when they were touring the Downward Spiral this used to be the bathroom / cig song... If they played this guitar / bass heavy "Only Time" version I would have stayed. Lol
I don't freaking care about the meaning of the song, is strong enough, a powerful beat, a neat sensation, wether is a repercution toward religious fans, or a frustrated desire of sex, is a great song
I remember when they were gonna play in West Palm Beach in 2005 & Hurricane Wilma hit the day before they were set to play. I was more pissed about missing NIN than I was about Wilma....smh
@Bigrobkerr music is about personally preferences. one can like what ever he likes. you think CCR is good, then good for you. go listen to it. most if not all of us like NIN. good for us. nobody said you had to like them. he is my favorite artist personally.

HE'S NOT TRYING TO BE. You can use influences like zep, and don't even have to sound like them. It's all about expressing your ideas. If NIN was "bad," they wouldn't inspire nations.
