  • Bassist Jason Foster discusses the YAMAHA TRB 504 and the benefits of having active and passive pickups on one bass. This capable instrument will seamlessly switch from active to passive pick-ups if the batteries die avoiding the inconvenience of swapping out batteries in the middle of a set. Plus you get the tonal characteristics of both pickups on one instrument. Jason plays bass with Israel Houghton, Don Moen, Paul Baloche and many more.

Every active bass should have a bypass to passive mode. Kudos to Yamaha. They must actually listen to their customers.

Hello ! I have a Yamaha TRBX504 bass and it is missing two knobs (Knobs). Could you tell me what brand and model are the knobs that come from the factory?
    Thank you very much, greetings.
