As a lot of first time camera owners & creators will be buying this camera, we need a video on various video settings. Vlogging, talking head, cinematic etc
I always use the same settings. FLOG2, 4K, 24P (60 for slow motion). Just usually AF zone for b-roll and face tracking (eye tracking off) for vlogging & talking head. Always manual exposure mode.
Thanks, Pascal. It's now clear what footage can be achieved with Fujifilm X-M5. It'd be nice if you show expensive vs kit lens comparison with Fujifilm X-M5. A side by side or scene after scene of the same view with the X-M5 with kit lens and the expensive like Viltrox AF 27/F1.2
Thanks so much for the great video and tips for auto focus! ❤MY X-M5. Another good lens option I am using is the FUJIFILM XC 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 OIS II Lens, nice build quality and light for this camera.
Cinematic videos are about directing, lighting, composition etc. You can achieve this with any camera now days, camera is just a tool, more or less convenient to work with
great video I love your content!! I want to buy the Fujifilm, I love the camera and its price, its style, I love it, but I'm afraid it doesn't have IBIS, I want to do photography and video, I don't know what to do, I'm not personal videographer but I want to make videos help me
Hey. Super Video.
Thanks for commenting. That's good to know that the Viltrox 13mm 1.4 seems to work better with the 10-24mm. I used the 10-24 a few years ago, but not with the M5 as I don't have it anymore. I'd probably just not walk while talking into the camera and it should be fine.
@pascalbasel a topic which i don't find on UA-cam and asked myself is: what is the best OIS Lens from Fujifilm for best stabilized results. At the moment the 18-55 makes a good job. Unfortunately i never tried the 16-80 f4 and compared it to the 18-55. The 10-24 is worse stabilized at 18mm compared to the 18-55.
Great review, but for something this compact and portable, the lack of IBIS, motion data, bad rolling shutter and still an autofocus you can't truly rely on, I can't help but feel disappointed. It's good if on a tripod, but then you take a hit in portability. Personally I would rather have a ZV-E10 as it at least has the motion data to use with GyroFlow/Catalyst and can be had substantially cheaper, has reliable autofocus and much cheaper E-Mount second hand lenses. Sure it's 8-bit but it still manages more dynamic range as the Fuji's dynamic range drops when you film at 6.2k.
It's not meant to be a review. I made this tutorial to show people how to work around these limitations. The ZV-E10 ii can definitely be a better choice for many people. But only ZV E10 ii, the rolling shutter of the I is actually terrible. That's something Fuji does better.
i used A7IV for 3 years and bought this because its the cheapest fuji camera , guess what? this is not beginners camera ,GOOD GOD i couldnt believe the photos and videos coming from this tiny thing i am PRO NEG HI-ing all the models lol
How's your experience with the Fujifilm X-M5 so far?
If you don't have one yet, get it here: geni.us/sfmWKRB *
can't get my hands on one yet 😪
Damn this was so good.
I'm also loving my X-M5!

Very well explanation, i just bought this X-M5 !
Great to hear!

Footage on top is xm5 and on bottom is A9iii. The FF DOF gives it away 👌
Opposite, DOF is shallower there as the Fuji is at 27mm F1.2 (40mm F1.8 FF eqiv.) vs 35mm F1.8 on the Sony. The 5mm make it slightly shallower.
@@pascalbasel wow! Then that is impressive.
Great video pascal!
Thanks Mark 👍🏻

Optically stabilized and just a half stop slower than 16-50/2,8-4,8 LM
Thanks for the suggestion. I somehow overlooked this lens.
Amazing video
how about 27mm with still handheld shot? does it shake?
That works well with DIS for still handheld shots.
Lovely thank you!
Can’t do this if I can’t find it in stock anywhere.
That you should tell Fuji ;-)
Super video!

Yes, and if starters don't know how to do that using their camera (like an M5), they won't. That's why I made this video.
Do i turn OIS on in camera settings somewhere or its automatically built into the lens without having to turn it on by default
In the settings
Wow Amazing video. It looks like you are in Thailand. 😄
Yes, I live here
@@pascalbasel haha I’m Thai. I hope you are happy with Thailand. 👍🏻
Sure, best country ever 👍🏻
Great vid! Can you show us some editing for flog2 on premiere?
Sorry, but I don't use or recommend Premiere. But I have an FLOG2 beginners guide here: ua-cam.com/video/5YvuQ8y3bTQ/v-deo.html
@ is Davinci as easy to crop snip and add soundtracks too ? I know the colour is far better from what I’ve seen
@@angusmulholland1003 Yes, it's not too different.
Thank you for this excellent video as usual. Please which non-Fuji lens can I use with this camera? Any recommended Tamaron lens?

I recommend quite a few lenses in this video.
Great video ❤❤

X-S20 then, same quality with IBIS. Or XT5 for the body style, crops a bit but still shoots beautiful video.
HDR steigert enorm das Ergebnis 👍
Auf jeden Fall 👍

The clip with an empty desk is sony
Opposite 😉
Fuji is actually sharper as there’s no AA filter on the sensor.
@@pascalbaseloh really??? That’s so good to see. I never thought the fuji would look that good. I’ve got the xm5 and I’m glad i did.

I hope so. Sold my kidneys for that 😂
