My Zepbound story I listen to all of your podcast since 2020, I don’t know how I found you, but I am blessed to be part of your community of listeners. I kept thinking of my Obese daughter that had gestational diabetes during pregnancy and my alcoholic son as I listen to your Ozempic series, I had never even heard of Ozempic before. I ask my daughter to listen and she said she won’t put any drug in her body’s to lose weight. Then you talked about you and how it has made a difference in your health. And I thought huh maybe I could be the guinea pig for my daughter. 2.5 of Zepbound, down 4 lbs the first week and that thing they talk about the food chatter… for the first time in my 62 years it was gone. 10 lbs down in one month, tried to stay on 2.5 but my Insurance will only cover one prescription of the 2.5 and now I have to teeter up, but they are out of 5mg. Warning long story. So I am a recovering dieter. I was told I was fat at 12 I was not but those are the days as they are now too. That began the time where begin wacko diets: Cheerios for three times a day. Or starving myself. I stayed at about 130 lb until I was about 19. That’s when I enterednursing school. Also had a boyfriend that was creating tremendous amount of stress as well. I gained 30 pounds. And then continued the whack diets. I joined the military. Was told I was obese by the very obese colonel. I weighed one 40. I was always active as a child as a teenager. I mean I was on the dance team. I rode my bike 20 miles a day I was active. when I hit the working world the last thing I wanted to do exercise after being on my feet for 12 hours. Shortly before I joined military, my eating was truly disordered and I was bulimic. I continued this path through my 20s. I was the most heaviest I have ever been at 237 pounds at 28 yr old. Fast-forward to 1997 and then Phenfen came around. The disordered eaters prayer answered. Interestingly, enough, some of the same effects as GLP1, I wanted to eat healthy foods. And then then of course was immediately taken off the market as fast as they could. Oh, I know there were some significant or a significant side effect. I spent 41 years full-time nursing. The stress was outrageous. And now I’m in mid 60s and retired. And now stress is gone and now I find I have Hashimotos after original diagnosis of low thyroid when I was 32 or 33.. But to your answer about keeping the weight off for an extended period of time, usually no longer than two to maybe five years. I agree. What I agree with is that fast diets, and I have been on them all Jenny Craig, etc., even hospital dietitian sanctioned weight loss plans. You lose it fast and the minute you get back to a non healthy un -sustainable diet you gain it back. So this past two years, I have been changing my diet, my eating patterns are ordered. I am not binging. I am walking 3 mph for an hr 5-6 x per week. I am not anorexic. And the more I listen to people like Dr. Jason Fung and Dr Mark Hyman and you, I realize the diet industry has it all wrong. And they as well wish to keep us fat. I have lost 35 pounds in one year. I’m doing it slow. I’m doing sustainable and I’m eating 1300 to 1600 cal per day. With macros balanced. I am not starving myself. I am doing a 14 to 15 time restricted eating pattern. I am getting assistance from my functional physician and my acupuncturist with Hashimoto. And I hope to keep this weight off.and I think I have a better chance of success this way than any of the previous 50 years I have lived.
Happy belated birthday 🎉 I have loved what semiglutide 10 units has done for me! I am more limber, I am sleeping better, I am more balanced, my menopause symptoms are much less and I’m all around feeling 100% better. The cherry on top is I did loose 8 pounds and I’ve been taking 10 units since last October. I am so pleased with feeling NORMAL I’m researching other peptides to add to my protocol if they can help too!
I just found your videos and as I was listening and learning I heard we share the same birthday. Im 1969 and just beginning Ozempic.I have lost 19 lbs in 3 months .I am going up on my dose from .5 to 1 mg since it has plateaued. Thank you for emphasizing how important strength training is! I will start that tomorrow and my diet has drastically changed for the better but I will make an effort to get plenty of protein which I basically do as well as only eating veggies and cherries and carrot juice I make myself and lots of water. Also the HRT is interesting and I will definitely ask my Dr about adding this after starting peri menopause recently.Knowledge is power!!

Saying thank you isn't enough 🙌 . Thank you for providing such great information!!! My health coach has been telling me that there were so many different things these glp1’s do. You have disspelled the fear I had. I’m now excited to reap all the benefits of these peptides as I continue my journey of healing my body and taking the weight off!!!!
I have to tell you that watching your videos with the first one I saw with chalene Johnson have totally changed my mind about this. In fact so much that I sent your videos to my D.O and asked him to listen and we have talked and I’m going to be starting this Myself, waiting to here back from pharmacy now. I’m a 59 yr. old female who has been on bio identical hormones for a few years now which in my opinion saved my life because I still work 12 hours shifts ,jump up and down off forktrucks all day and physically works hard with I thought was a great metabolism until last year when I slipped on our stairs and totally dislocated my wrist and Had to have a shoulder replacement and wrist surgery and was down for 6moths and lost so much muscle which took years to build , and now I just can’t get body fat off. Thank you for enlightening me I’m excited to give this a try. And by the way I’m already doing all the others things and totally agree with you on that. 😊And I have RA and autoimmune disease are ramped in my family so I’m also interested from that angle too!!!
I am an Australian RN and Dr of Acupuncture and Chinese medicine. I love your holistic approach. I ve listened to all your utube talks on this an I will now recommend ozempic with strength training plus increased protein. I deal with many PCOS with fertility issues. This would be a godsend.. in Australia you can get compounding chemist here to supply .. Thanks Again 😊
Is compounding safe? Recently on our Ozzie news government warned that when "compounded its not semaglutide". Is it safe and why they say otherwise on news?
I'm in Melb. Morbidly obese BMI - menopause/hysterectomy (fibroids problem) weight, 103 kg, other medical issues like edema too, got Ozempic from local GP - as I was candidate for gastric sleeve. Got it from a local chemist last week. No problem. 141 dollars for the month. Chemist Warehouse sell it for 130 a month I believe but they were closed. They also are out of stock at many stores. Going to start next week. Really need some hope. As my hormones are out of whack and have massive inflammation.
@saharagold I hope semaglutide helps you! I've been on it for 3 months and not to mention weight loss, my mind is clear, like this fog lifted up. So much more energy too :)
@@NikitaZimovets-zv7bu great to hear. Thanks. I started my first dose yesterday. Haven't felt anything yet. I have read it not only clears the food noise but helps with other addictions too, which is great. Anything requiring impulse control. Just wanna feel normal again like I did fitting into old clothes.
@saharagold yes, I have noticed appetite suppression in the first week, on day 2/3 after the shot. It takes, however, a good month or so for this peptide to saturate your tissues to feel full effects. Over a month, i also noticed that I don't enjoy alcohol anymore either - that was interesting. It also helped my anxiety, you kinda feel calm and relaxed 😌
I was finally approved for Wegovy .. through provider in March with PA just waiting for it to come in stock so glad I found you. Everything is so negative about these meds. I saw you on Dr. Hyman. I have to start at .25 since is the lowest I can get through my pcp and plan with doc is to stay there for as long as I want and can handle it .. Micro dose sounds great but compound not affordable. I am 50 also. I anxiously optimistic. Would have rather tried Zepbound but not covered under my insurance.
I am so very happy to have found your channel and wish I could be your patient too I’m in central California. The only medical provider I have been happy with for my primary has been my last NP she had great advice but she left and went to work with geriatric 😢
So glad you spent your bday in Big island! Happy belated Birthday! I split my time between Maui and BI. My naturopathic Dr. is in Big island and we have been working together for the last few years to improve my sleep, horribly painful periods and more. Anyway, we’ve made huge improvements but even with major changes and improvements I still have too much weight on me, (5’9” 255 lbs) possibly endometriosis and major chronic pain. I actually just sent her an email because we have an appointment coming up and I wanted to share with her the first video in your Ozempic series hoping to start a convo with her about micro dose of this as part of my protocol. Anyway, just wanted to say how much I appreciate you and all you are doing! You are making such an impression and major difference!!!
Not negative feedback, I really enjoy the information that you are providing. Please address the critics individually it feels uncomfortable to hear you recount all the nay sayers when I am intentionally seeking your input and am on board with your approach. Who cares about the naysayers
Wish i had a doctor like you maybe would have some hope in my life to loose weight. They dont even listen doctors these days they look at there pc more than our faces😢
Thanks for the information. It has clarified many of the questions i had. I have listened to the last 3 episodes. The attitude is different in England and it’s used differently.
Happy Birthday. You make sense, unfortunately some countries don’t allow access to peptides. I agree with you about the switch in the brain. I felt it too, but male doctors can’t relate to it and deny such a thing has happened to me. If I had known that peri menopause is a state of insulin resistance I would have cut out carbohydrates immediately. I’ve just recently learned that my gut has oestrogen receptors - but now I’m left wondering if my microbiome is, despite a high fibre diet, keto since 2019, and regular exercise is all compromised now that I’m menopausal? I’m getting tired of the struggle to feel well and stay well without some sort of support. I want my body back.
34:19 Dr tyna I love your videos I share the heck out of them. I feel sad your not in practice any longer. I do how ever would love some info. I am 74 always working out with weights we a personal trainer 3 days a week and walked the other days. Then I was diagnosed with RA and it turned my life upside down. The drs were throwing all kinds of crap at me including prednisone which caused a 20 lb weight gain and maid me very sick. I finally after 6 mths said no more of this BS big pharma crap. So my GP and R A drs dropped me nut personally didn't want to go back anymore. Other than that I ear well and my only exercise right now is rebounding a few times a day. I have bands and use them all the time to keep my strength but when I try to lift my weights only 10lbs compared to 25 lbs before it hurts the 10 lbs hurt my wrists so bands for now. My question is I would like to try the GPL-1 are you able to get me on it or tell me how to order it and how much because of my age. Please let me know if that is possible I am in Washington State not too fat away 😊 Happy Belated Birthday. 🎉🍨🥳🎂
What do you think of Rybelsus- Semaglutide pills- first they prescribe 3 mg, after that 7, and 14 mg later. I’ve stayed on the 7 mg prescripción. I’m in Spain, in my 70’s & don’t have diebetes & have started strenght training, had no idea it was so fundamental.
Couldnyounolease tell me what you mean by cranking the numbers up re ozempic. I'm on 1mg per week. Is that considered a high dose. I'm not sire of the max dose. Bthanks

I when to a funcional medicine doctor and she requested a stool testing and find out that I need detox . I started the detox but the headaches were too strong no sure how to do this 😞
Thanks for explaining everything so well! I was on the fence on ordering Trizapitide (compounded). I’ve had my gallbladder and thyroid removed & it’s difficult to lose weight. I’m pre-diabetes, steatosis hepatic, increased blood pressure and overweight. ❤
Hi Dr Tina Moore love love love your content I feel that you are on point especially with women and their hormonal changes they weight gain I live in Australia and struggling to find someone think that can give me microdoses do you have any thoughts on this or is there a program I can come straight to you I'm not sure how to go about this any ideas would love some help thank you
I apologize if I messed this info in your videos, but is the microdose a sublingual drop? My local pharmacy is compounding it, and I’m thinking of trying it. Is there any specific questions I should ask them? It is the semaglutide they are compounding. Thank you for your videos!!
I'm really interested in this for more than just weight loss, but I'm concerned about it making more fat cells? Is that true? If I knew I could stay on it for life with no adverse effects, it wouldn't matter, but what if I have to get off of it. Thanks for your many many good videos. I love your perspective and being my age, I love it even more. You've become one of my favorite channels.
The comments about no longer responding is when people are prescribed the high pharmaceutical doses by conventional medical doctors. Dr. Tynas approach is to use the smallest dose possible and cycle it on and off, so the body does not become resistant to it and would have better results long term.
I have been a little scared about using this to help me lose some weight. I'll lose 5 or 6 lbs and eat 1 or 2 meals with bad carbs and weight shoots back up the next morning . FRUSTRATED KATHY
I notice that you leave Trulicity out of your episodes. I know it’s a peptide, dulaglutide, but not the ones that the other name brands are. It is a GLP1. Does all of your advice/info apply to Trulicity the same? It was prescribed for me for T2 diabetes.
How does semaglutide 0.5mG sublingual tablet compare to shots? I’ve been on it for a week- and I’m doing pretty good! I’m eating less, and don’t think about snacks during the day. And… I’m ‘regular’ for the first time in years! I’ll be on 0.5 for a month, then he’s moving me up to 1.0 Mg next month. What do you think about the sublingual vs injections? Very much appreciate your videos!
I’m wondering about the percentage of people who can’t use Ozempic from blood glucose crashes die to the decreased glucagon secretion. (The pharmaceutical describes hypoglycemia Only happening when using semaglutide with insulin or other glucose medication.)
Wouldn’t you stop using the insulin if you’re having hypos? The only reason I’m considering ozempic is so I can get off of the insulin and lose the 90 pounds I need to. I’m eating red meat heavy keto/under 30 total carb a day, walking, but still getting fatter on insulin. I also have blood sugar around 300 without insulin. I’d love to see real world data on how ozempic works to lower the blood sugars and when the insulin is to be stopped.
@@kelley8223 my mom wasn’t on any other blood glucose medication. The Ozempic itself was causing her crashes. We’ve been taking it very slowly and she seems to have evened out her highs and lows.
@@kellybischoff2225 I meant to ask, did you find out what the cause of the hypos was? I’ve had low lows before, but that was due to actually eating carbs and using more insulin to compensate.
Wonderful women named Karen, including me, exist. Please do not perpetuate the slurring and shaming with our name that we have endured for now 4-ish years. I would not wish it on anyone. Kindest matters. Thank you.
Please look into mast cell activation syndrome because these people should not go in saunas or eat fermented foods. How can ozempic affect these people
I’m so confused on what to do. I’m 60 and 90 lbs overweight. I was put on antidepressants about 30 years ago because of a panic disorder that not only affected me but 4of my siblings. We have all now become severely overweight. I’ve tried getting off them and unfortunately the panic attacks came roaring back. So now I am trying Ozempic . I’ve only lost 3 lbs in a month of taking.25 mg. After listening to this video I’m even more confused and wonder if I should just hang dieting all together. If I’m just going to gain it all back like every other diet I’ve tried then what’s the use?
Recently on national news thay issued a warning that when compounded your not getting same samiglutide as ozempic and they said its dangerous etc. Is compounded safe and effective? Im bit confused 😕

Keep your chin up and keep doing the amazing work you do. I just discovered you (2 months after posting) and your message is getting to people. ☺️
Thank you , Thank you for talking about the pain issues
Yeah! Can’t wait for that program!
Thank you! Your information has mentally freed me to make the necessary changes my body needs with No shame attached.
Happy birthday! Enjoy🎉
I CREATED THE TIME FOR ME !! ❤😊
Once again very informative and right on point.
What’s the solution for long term weight maintenance after you go off gp-1?
Can the muscle loss from semaglutide be avoided by taking amino acids? Is the muscle loss due only to lowered protein intake?
What course are you referring to?
Please help! The pharmacies keep not being able to find certain doses of the GLP 1s. Where can we get all doses of a GLP 1?
Couldnyounolease tell me what you mean by cranking the numbers up re ozempic. I'm on 1mg per week. Is that considered a high dose. I'm not sire of the max dose. Bthanks
My doctor put on zepbond I am Pre-diabetic
I need to lose 40lbs but I am in my 3rd week and I haven’t lose anything 😞
I am eating healthy and working out 3 times a week .
Thats a shame I too lost my thyroid and my gall bladder too I'm on 5mg mounjaro and 30lbs to lose and its coming off slowly I'm type 2 also good luck
Hi Dr Tina Moore love love love your content I feel that you are on point especially with women and their hormonal changes they weight gain I live in Australia and struggling to find someone think that can give me microdoses do you have any thoughts on this or is there a program I can come straight to you I'm not sure how to go about this any ideas would love some help thank you
How do you find a doctor that thinks similarly to you in TX? Love the micro=dosing idea!
What is your microdose amount?
I love your show.
I apologize if I messed this info in your videos, but is the microdose a sublingual drop? My local pharmacy is compounding it, and I’m thinking of trying it. Is there any specific questions I should ask them? It is the semaglutide they are compounding. Thank you for your videos!!
What kind of Collagen protein do you recommend ?
I'm really interested in this for more than just weight loss, but I'm concerned about it making more fat cells? Is that true? If I knew I could stay on it for life with no adverse effects, it wouldn't matter, but what if I have to get off of it. Thanks for your many many good videos. I love your perspective and being my age, I love it even more. You've become one of my favorite channels.
I am confused. You say that you will eventually no longer respond to the GLPs then you say you may have to be on them for life. Which is it?
The comments about no longer responding is when people are prescribed the high pharmaceutical doses by conventional medical doctors. Dr. Tynas approach is to use the smallest dose possible and cycle it on and off, so the body does not become resistant to it and would have better results long term.
So is it ok to do compound I'm not a fan of shots 😬
Great information! Starting Tirzepatide soon and saw it’s not recommended if using Estradiol. Thoughts?
Where did you see this?
Does it has some life threatening side affects? I need to lose 10-15 lbs
Thank you!
Please tell me how I can microdose? How?
Great information. The tucker carlson comment is disturbing.
LOL definitely threw me off too.
Oh Karen. You need a safe space? You poor thing
Hahaha, Tucker is okay. Have you even listened to him or are you parroting what you've been told. 🦜 🐑🐑. Let's go out of the box please..
@@kellybischoff2225 I am glad to hear she’s gotten it sorted out!
@@kellybischoff2225 I meant to ask, did you find out what the cause of the hypos was? I’ve had low lows before, but that was due to actually eating carbs and using more insulin to compensate.
Common sense. Thanks Doc!
I live in Australia and I am obese. If I wanted to start microdosing with GLP-1 who can I see? Where do I start?
Just keep going to different doctors, don’t give up, there are good ones out there but they’re hard to find. Best of luck with your journey.
Love Tucker. All you Karen’s, relax!
Wonderful women named Karen, including me, exist. Please do not perpetuate the slurring and shaming with our name that we have endured for now 4-ish years. I would not wish it on anyone. Kindest matters. Thank you.
Most people are here for medical information. It doesn’t help to try push them away by driving political wedges in.
What about a reverse diet to increase calories.
What is the lower dose?
Lap Bands. A big no.
Exactly like 2020. I didn’t buy into that
@pollenatrix…just because Tucker interviewed Putin???
That’s what a reporter supposed to do. Russia Russia Russia
= Hilary Hilary Hilary
So there's no point trying to lose weight then ?
She NEVER says what amount is a microdose!!!!!
"astute obesity doctors will bring in other pharmaceuticals" Like WHAT? astuteness is dead, what should we be asking about ???
❤
Has anyone checked her credentials??
a board-certified Naturopathic and Chiropractic physician
You adore Tucker carleson? You gave now lost me- just wow!
Tuckers awesome!
Bye bye. Lol 😂
@@TRUMPWIN21yes !
Bye!!!!
Bye Karen. Don’t let your cellulite filled ass hit the door on the way out
Pretty lady.
I've recently watched quite a bit of you and think you generally are very good about these drugs. But liking Tucker Carlson? Really disappointed.
Tucker Carlson???!!! That’s unfortunate.
Okay, Karen 🙄 relax. Tuckers awesome. Maybe you should spend some time listening to him.
@@TRUMPWIN21It's disturbing that there are actually Americans who think a Russian propagandist is "awesome". Bizarre.
Yes, out of here.
Why Karen?
@@pollenatrixyou mean the one on the board of Burisma? the one that sold access to the Oval Office to pay for crack and whores? Oh wait….thats Hunter Biden …sorry
I am fairly open minded but have a hard time believing you are a TC fan. He just doesn't seem very 'with it' or aware.
Such a disappointment to hear you celebrate Tucker Carlson. Sad. I thought I had found a new resource but no longer trust your opinion.
Omg- cancel culture in action.
Even if you disagree politically, maybe you can still benefit medically.
Let’s not cut off our noses to spite our faces.
I have lots of friends with diverse views. As an educator for 40 years, I appreciate leaving room for conversation and sharing. I just prefer to not mix medical resources and political preferences. Luckily we all have dozens of excellent resources online and so we can choose our preferences. No cancel culture intended.
You are an educator- that explains your commenting. So sad. Smells is Soviet Russia propaganda.
@@gerryannolson7502 that’s fair enough. There is plenty of choice.
That you're a tucker fan makes me lose all respect for you. Gross
It’s just a personal opinion. We also don’t need to agree with Dr Tyna politically to respect her medical knowledge.
Ungrateful. She’s giving free information. Have respect or get lost and stay obese.
Thank you!
