      Agreed. Of all of the big cities we’ve been, Querétaro has been the best for feeling safe, amenities and amazing cultural monuments. Thanks for watching ❤️🇲🇽

      Yes, we pay for convenience and with so many large corporate entities in QRO city, it’s an expensive housing market. Thanks for the support, my man. Appreciated 👍

    just stumbled across your channel this morning. couple of things lead me to subscribe. the easy going pace of camera when showing the sights, mellow and articulate narration, family, doc martens, and in this video: the words to the dads. couldn't be more true that we dads need to slow down and show our kiddos how to appreciate the atmosphere

      Hey John, great idea. I have some mercado content and always reconnect that travelers check these places out for the authentic Mexican hospitality and experience. Check out Part 1 or Mazatlán for the mercado there. ✌️❤️🇲🇽

    HOLA FROM QUERETARO. MERIDA IS TOO HOT.
    ELECTRIC BILLS HIGHER THAN RENT IN MERIDA.
    CALETA, LAS AMERICAS, CALLE VILLA TROPICAL.
    zapata, renacimiento, hogar de moderno, pie de cuesta etc.
    Eliminate criminals.
    I love you ACAPULCO since age 20, and now age 81 in Queretaro, since 2021.
    Earthquakes is why I did not retire in Acapulco.
    RIP Everyone everywhere

    I went to QTO three years ago, and was disappointed at how Disneyfied the old part of town has become - it's mostly gentrified, and a lot of it looks like a Ye Olde Mexico theme park now, rather than a living city. That happens everywhere - it's just QTO's turn. And it's good for getting tourist dollars - but not so good for the normal life of the city and the ordinary people who live there. Younger people and foreigners who don't remember what it used to be like have no idea how dramatically it has changed.

    • @AcclimatizeMexico
      @AcclimatizeMexico  9 місяців тому

      Thanks for this comment. You’re right, I have no idea what it used to be like and it does cater to the tourist dollar. That gentrified, Americanized feeling is everywhere… Europe, large cities in South America. Even in Canada, I have often yearned for the good old days when cars were made of metal and men were men. Thanks for watching. ❤️🇲🇽
