@lapk78 honestly, the Halo just does it better. I haven't even adjusted the stock presets because they are simply THAT GOOD. The Nemesis takes some tweaking and can do some awesome delays. I usually stack the Halos dotted eighth into the Nemesis tape delay set to a 1/4 (which is basically the actual "Halo" setting, but just a bit more my flavor. I'm sure if I deep dived into the Halo, I might be able to set it up to do it itself, but I don't want to ruin an already great setup).
@@Lennie_peled I bought the Collider, but returned it. It sounded good, but the UI was so terrible. Ended up keeping the Empress Ecosystem and will likely get a Neunaber Immerse V2 for reverb.
@@lapk78 sorry to hear bud, I’m in search for a reverb and I’m torn between the collider and the golden reverbrator. Still haven’t decided yet but the collider is slightly cheaper and I get more of it. The golden looks more appealing and sounds gorgeous
Had to stop because the pingpong is so distracting. I love Source Audio, and own a bunch of their stuff but default to ping pong drives me bananas! Great job RJ, as usual. Not your fault the default setting is ridiculous.
Ughh was pretty hyped until you got to the slap back… sounds really good otherwise. Tel ray oil can is easily one of my favorite guitar tones might have to grab this and keep a mini delay just for slapback.
I use the Nemesis and a Keeley Halo. No need for any other delays. Absolutely love them separately and stacked.
Get yourself a Strymon Timeline that can do a lot more even than these 2 pedals stacked.
@@matteomidas638 had it. Overrated
Not everyone needs a Strymon, they're ubiquitous. The Nemesis has features that are unique to it, and it uses less real estate.
I'm considering this same pair of delays. But can't the Nemesis reproduce the Halo's sounds?

Thanks. A "HOLD" feature should be on every new delay pedal.
Damn, your opening jam is awesome!
🤘
Love the Big Log vibe in the beginning. Great pedal 👍
Awesome playing. We’ve all lost many hours messing around with delay .
Came here to say, I want that shirt!!!!!
Can you play u2 with this?
I was gonna get the Collider but now im torn. This version is really amazing.
Did you get anything yet? If so, what did you get and what do you think?
@@lapk78 collider all the way, but i already have a dm2w

Totally agree. And the ping pong pattern is so stiff - it’s like and extreme tremolo effect.

A double wide pedal with jacks on the sides? Lousy design.
It's competing with the Timeline, DD-500 etc so you could argue its far smaller, and therefore a clever design
