- How to remove the FJ Cruiser Passenger Fender as well as installing a Snorkel kit.
I wanted to Install a Snorkel but to do it I had to Remove the fender.
I noticed there wasn't many videos or info on step by step on how to remove the fenders on a FJ Cruiser so I decided to make a video while I was at it. This Snorkel kit doesn't require any drilling.
Will add more videos as I continue to upgrade the Fj Cruiser or work on other vehicles :)

Thank you for this video. I bought the same snorkel and it didn't come with any instructions, LOL. Your video was a great help for me with the install. THANK YOU!
Awesome glad this helped 💙😉👌
Good post, nice FJ and thank you. I need to remove my fenders to reinforce the inner fenders to prevent fender bulges in my 2007. This was very helpful.
Thank you. Glad this was helpful 😀🙌
best snorkel for fj by far
😄👌💙. Yea I felt this was the better option for me, no cutting or drilling my oem fenders lol 😆
Thanks for showing how to remove the fenders. BTW. What brand is the snorkel? I like how the snorkel goes on top rather than the side.
Can't believe you didn't tell us WHICH snorkel kit that was.

Sorry to change topics, I tow my FJ cruiser behind my RV using the D rings on my aftermarket bumper. I see these D rings are screwed onto the bumper. Do you think your bumper is thick enough or the way the D rings are attached it would be safe to tow my FJ using the D rings?
Thank you
I'm not sure that I would tow it from the D shackle Rings behind an Rv. I will say it is more than strong to tow or pull things with it or get pulled out from the D rings but for towing I would purchase an adjustable tow bar kit. They are not too expensive. You could remove the D rings and use the pin brackets to bolt your tow bar onto for towning purposes. Once your done towing you can re install your D rings on your bumper. 👌🙌🙂
Awesome! Love this dude new sub! Where can I find this snorkel?! I want this for my 14fj I like the idea of not cutting anything.
Glad u like it 😁👌. I found it on ebay. Searching for fj cruiser snorkels.
@@Fjoffroad awesome thank you!
The only issue with this snorkel i have is the fact that i can't use it with my Victory roof rack because of the mounting position.
Yea I totally get it. There's a roof rack I really liked but have to mod or choose a different one because this snorkel will get in the way
Noticed you deleted your fender flares. What did you use in place so that there’s no bare metal look underneath?
Glad you asked. I ended up using Raptor Liner coating on the bottom wheel wells. really strong stuff and durable.
*How much deeper water can you go thru now?*
Just installed yesterday. Will test it out soon 😄. But now I'm not worried if water covers the hood 🙌😄
Do you have a link to the snorkel?
Purchased it from ebay. Here is a link to the one I purchased. www.ebay.com/itm/385198693066?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=eJPt3_4mSFO&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=NXbruxeOQXO&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=SMS
@@Fjoffroad Thanks for the link. Did you have to grind down the snorkel to fit with the fender?
@@arsenii555 your welcome bud :). No grinding down of snorkel at all 👌😎
What snorkel kit is that? I can fine one made out of fiberglass, but not plastic.
