A PS Vita with an updated AMD Z1 chip would be great. The ROG Ally is coming out next month for anyone looking for a smaller Steam deck alternative. Wish my phone could run Steam games so I wouldn't want a handheld.
Question: If I mod my Vita, will it still be functional fundamentally? Like, can I still log into PS Network and download the things that I've actually purchased, or does doing this cause that to be null?
Don't think it can output to full hd. Plus, the hardware isn't powerful enough to play at a native 1080p. This vita hack via web browser should work for the PS TV but I don't have one to test with.
I Love the Vita! I have not modded my vita, I plan on doing so but I’m a bit nervous as I’m more hardware oriented than software. I am really excited about it tho and looking forward to seeing what all I can do with my Vita.
I’d love to mod mine for psp and ps1 games never released officially, but am concerned with continuing to use my psn profile for officially bought games that I wish to continue getting trophies for. I modded my vita during the pandemic and I love it. Had it since launch. I'm still struggling to fill up 1tb micro SD using sd2vita

and the best thing about PS Vita was they did PS3 Game Ports and they ran wonderful only downside is the lower quality graphics. Like a nintendo switch game beside the same one on PS5 but they were still the exact same game which i found is crazy
Great vídeo, I love my Vita! ✌🏼🤓🎮
I just modded my Vita 2000 with this method. I had been contemplating modding mine but didn't want to mess it up or brick my Vita. But now with the browser method I'm on board. I have 128gb and am going to buy a bigger SD card in the future. Right now I'm so excited to use my Vita all the time. It's awesome. I think Sony should rethink the Vita or a new handheld device. I also pull out the PSP from time to time too because that's modded also and I have a lot of Nintendo content on there.
Interesting. Can you mod any of the PlayStations or are the psp and ps vitas easier/the only ones?
@@lilplugXD while it’s possible to mod the PlayStation 3 and 4, the newer you get, the more likely you are to get banned if you play online. Especially so for the ps4. But if you solely plan on playing offline then it’s not too difficult for the ps3. As for the ps4 I’m not to sure as I’ve never modded one of those. There plenty of videos on the internet though.
Thanks for this I am experimenting and new this video 11 years ago is still working hahahahhahaha. Thank you and God bless my friend.
I love my PS Vita 1000. I modded it immediately, unfortunately before the browser method was available. It was a good learning experience, though. I love Fez, but I'm totally lost as to where to go. There's no easy way to see where you are and how to get from A to B. I just beat Steamworld Dig, and I'm probably going to jump right into the sequel and spinoff. I also look forward to trying out the "Anomaly" Android ports that were recently ported over.
I'm playing dead space on mine bro and gta San Andreas 👍
My ps vita 1000 is modded, but how do I install the new android ports?
Browser method? I'm scared but I kinda really want to do it
@@sandrofani1 You don't need to be nervous! Look up some videos from "Tech James" and follow the steps (make sure to pay attention to which console you have). Trust me, you won't regret it!
Can you please tell me how to mod it, Thank you if you do
👾🎮great video
I did my mod a couple days ago AND I got my SD to vita adapter , so I'm good ,just downloaded kingdom hearts B.B.S one of my favourites , can't wait to see what I can play next .
Holy crap I want to get another Vita especially since I don’t need a PC to mod it anymore lol
But you can't play online
Vita means "life" in latin. People said it was ironic that received this name since it had ended Sony's handheld line up. But from a different perspective the name fits perfectly since its still kept alive by fans who create mods and ports for it. This thing was ahead of its time.

I just want to start retro gaming, what path should i go for? Vita, or those retro handheld? (Preferably Retroid 3+)
I had no idea the browser method was so recent, I modded my vita last night using said method and couldn't believe how easy and quick it was to set up haha
Feels really good having more use for the handheld, I hadn't touched it in years by the time I had modded it so it's great to breathe some more life into it.
@Soda Popper I don't think you can, there's homebrew games and obviously official stuff but that's about it.
I followed the steps in the video and it just leaves me at deploy, is there a step you did that you think I missed?
I don’t have a pc but really wish I could get some of the cool home brew games they have but the pkGj still is awesome to use so I get lots of good use out of it
For vita input you forgot to mention the back touchscreen dude ha
love my Vita. never modded it but maybe some day.
Ah i think my comment maybe did not go through. Just wanted to let you know that you do not need a proprietary memory card to mod the version 1 PS Vita anymore. IMCUnlock will allow you to gain access to system memory on the console and up to 1gb of memory can be partitioned for use like a memory card. IMCUnlock can be installed on an unmodified Vita. Keep up the good work 👍
Thanks, didn't know about IMCUnlock!
I’ve been a fan since day one the Psvita is an amazing game to home brew and ports also the community on Reddit is very helpful if you have any issues with your jailbreak vita
so yeah i LOVE my vita and it is my fav handheld device of all time, i have been experimenting with making it run 60 fps......its very hard. a lot of the games for the vita only run at 30 fps and i play a lot of fighting games which is prefered at 60 fps. i know overclocking is a thing but i burned out one battery already, and i would have to find an emulated game that i already own for the vita that was made to run at 60 fps....because games like GG+R was tailored to run at 30 and 2d fighting games cant just add frames like that -_- but other than that i have no other problems. its like a mini steamdeck and i love it lol
Thanks!
Hi,what is the best model to get, model number etc
The PSVITA is like the Dreamcast of handheld consoles.
💯
Awesome💯❤️
Loved mine. Sold it for a switch lite. Wish that they had kept making good games
Where do you get the mobile ports??
Can I ask what Shooting Games is that on 3rd person
Wow first time I am hearing, time to update it
Wish you'd show a guide on the web browser method
How did you get Mass Effect and Dead Space on your VITA, I jailbreaked mine, so how do I get those two games?
You have to follow these instructions: github.com/v-atamanenko/masseffect-vita
Iam going to mod mine soon can you tell me if you can install homebrew direct to vita because i have no pc i heard you can install vita psp and ps1 without pc but haven't heard anything about homebrew
i took one of my most loved selfies with a vita
I have problem it says rangeerrornarraybuffer size is not a small enough positive integer what does that mean it’s the pivotal slim
what were the first and second games you were playing
Killzone Mercenary and Mass Effect Infiltrator.
Was excited to do this and it bricked my vita 🙃
That's a great shame. I already have one hacked Vita and was thinking of doing another with the new method. You have made me reconsider!
Playstation Vita soo much potential but Sony released it at the wrong time.
I honestly feel if they released it in 2015 it would of had a better shot
Hi all, just a question for the vita, when you mod the vita do you have to sign out of the psn account ?
If I jailbroke it a couple years ago would it be worth like erasing it and going back and doing it again?
Hi, which psp model is more advanced version and best to buy, please advise. Thanks 😊
PSVita 1000 has a OLED screen. No internal memory and propriety charger.
Vita 2000 has a little bit of internal memory but a LCD screen and uses a Microusb for charging.
You should’ve written every game’s name displayed. What’s the name of that game at 2:32 pls ?
Great suggestion! The name of the game is Geometry dash
@@ShaunTirubeniTech thank you !
I love my vita and I really love when people mode or hack there’s because it makes mine more rare and valuable so thank you for that 😊
You’re welcome 😂
I had a vita once, it was a 1000 model which i refurbished myself with full new shell, and new analog stick, 64 gb vita memory card, and 512 gb in sd2vita.. and sadly thief broke into my house and took it along with some other stuff.. 😭
That's horrible! 😢
So can I mod it using the browser method without the Sony SD card? Because my SD card is crashing my vita 😢
Vita has been the inspection for alot of new handhelds like the aya and others....
My favorite hacked handheld I've ever had.
Sorry 3ds. You were close.
Thank god is now possibile to use a sd2vita on a psvita 1000, the alternative was to replace the 3g antenna with a memory card reader, but the sd2vita solution is water easier
I love to see people giving Wipeout some love.
Always a system showcase!
It’s such an awesome anti gravity racing game!
I also love wipeout 😂❤
For a time, there was a moonlight client port for the vita but that project died.

A PS Vita with an updated AMD Z1 chip would be great. The ROG Ally is coming out next month for anyone looking for a smaller Steam deck alternative. Wish my phone could run Steam games so I wouldn't want a handheld.
I’m super excited for the ROG Ally. Hope they launch it in Australia where I live. Handheld space seems to be heating up now 🔥
Question: If I mod my Vita, will it still be functional fundamentally? Like, can I still log into PS Network and download the things that I've actually purchased, or does doing this cause that to be null?
I think you can but it's always a risk of getting banned.
Can you write down the games that you were playing? The 2048 spaceship racing game, what’s the name of that?
It's called Wipeout 2048.
If i mod my vita will i still be able to access PSN, download the games that I bought and play them? Thanks
Are there news to Playstation TV? I love the idea, I have it, but cant play many games on TV and not even in full hd. maybe there are updates?
Don't think it can output to full hd. Plus, the hardware isn't powerful enough to play at a native 1080p. This vita hack via web browser should work for the PS TV but I don't have one to test with.
Does this work on the PS Vita TV?
I Love the Vita! I have not modded my vita, I plan on doing so but I’m a bit nervous as I’m more hardware oriented than software. I am really excited about it tho and looking forward to seeing what all I can do with my Vita.
Just do it bro, it's so easy it will literally take like 10 minutes and you're ready to go. I love my modded vita, and i'm sure you will too

Thanks for this good video. I love the vita so much! Is this browser jailbreak safe and is it possible to get back?
All jailbreaks have a risk (even if they're small).
I’d love to mod mine for psp and ps1 games never released officially, but am concerned with continuing to use my psn profile for officially bought games that I wish to continue getting trophies for. Seems it’s pretty safe and Sony seems to not give a damn in any way, but what’s the general experience with this? All safe and little risk?
