Budget ELECTRIC off roader:
Make it in to an electric off roader! Raise it, new tires, lights could be cool. I reckon it might be able to do something because it’s so lightweight.
Off roading is pretty slow so the crash test results can be forgotten of (:D), but maybe build a roll cage as well just to be safe!
The roll cage would just push through the roof or through something

I can't wait to see Alex, Ethan, Jack and Gareth all together inside Gary. Here is an idea for *THE ULTIMATE GARY CHALLENGE* - do a lap of the Nordschleife with Gary. It's really arguable if it will make it. To add spice and i'm sure track officials will almost certainly NOT allow that, but you can try asking politely - make the lap with all 4 of you inside. It will be hilarious AF.
I you turn the knob to F and pull. You get F-Plus (Sport Mode) for the full top speed.
that hazard light thing was on my barn find 1980 Ford F100 that i got for doing some yard work.
This thing looks like it would be a lot of fun for booting around a large private property. Can't wait to see the hypermiling video! After that maybe try some mods to improve performance. 😂

Strip out inside and plex windows, more power from the motor and send it round the track. See how close it can get to some other projects.
Different batteries , led headlights , smoked rear lights window tints a massive wing on the back wide arches and some beefier wider wheels
I would love to see it fitted with a 1000cc bike engine and gearbox.
And a roll cage, more because I think the engine and gearbox will take the driven axle with them and leave the rest of the car behind on the first launch
There is one in India with a busa motor
It may not make sense in UK market but in India where a large set of population uses two wheelers, this was a perfect city car, safer than a bike, electric, smaller to fit anywhere, less parking space. Moreover, the pricing was also more in Uk relative to India.

More powerful electric motor, some good tires and take it to the track. Probably wouldn't hurt to upgrade the brakes and suspension a bit.
10:22 why didn’t you go with lithium they are lighter and have more energy density. You could have upped your range to almost 100 miles with a very similar physical sized battery.
Make it fast somehow. Put all 12v batteries, or find a stronger electric motor for it (like a really huge brushless one maybe), or even build a custom lithium battery pack with 18650 cells.

Even in India, people who bought these were just people who had money burning a hole in their pocket. I see these on the road very occasionally, even now.

Brilliant boys. Personally, i think you should slam- and tune it + bigger wheels! All on budget, of course. Don´t know how many horses you can give a G-wiz without it breaking, but as much as possible should be the goal! Finally do a track day or similar if it gets fast enough.
Need to see a lap around the sprint circuit. Can It be cycled quicker

Dual tesla motors and a lithium battery pack sounds about right for it lol. Just have a full roll cage installed afterwards to keep you safe.
On the plus side, you don't need to worry about rust.

my god, even the seats look like a death trap. when the seats are out at 11:35 you can see just how tiny the rails/legs are.... that looks worse than some super cheap patio furniture.

Saw these reva's on the streets of Mumbai in mid 2000s and thought what an odd looking lil things are these some of my school mates mum's bought it for dropping and picking up their kids from school as my 12th bday arrived my grandfather asked me would i like one of these as a birthday present i choose an much cooler electric bike instead never regretted it not even with some broken bones. And yeah it was launched here in india in a zebra print body colour 😂 mann you guys bought some nostalgia to me, and yes these things were silent and driven by preoccupied women real hazard for the pedestrians as i can remember 😂

of range and usability as a daily "get you to your job" workhorse.
it puts Elon Electric into the court of the overpriced.
Let's say you're retired and only travel 2-5 miles twice a week to the nearest
supermarket for a few provisions. You need something like this, not some
£160.000 Tesla.
I wish you had explored the topic more deeply and gave some details concerning
the actual running costs, the price of the batteries and the range per charge etc.
