  • Dr. Joe Niamtu, III, cosmetic facial surgeon in Richmond, Virginia demonstrates filling of the nasolabial fold using a flexible, blunt-tipped cannula. The cannula has no sharp edges or points like a needle and therefore produces less trauma, swelling and bruising with faster recovery. For more information visit www.lovethatface.com

    I did not know that naso folds could be fixed with filler. we hear often that deep folds cannot just be filled. Great job

    are fillers the ONLY solution to nosolabial folds? I was thinking about submalar cheek implants, since ive lost volume there too big time :( thank you doctor. Jana

      Damouse8it I hope not. have you found out yet?

    • @Barkingspider
      @Barkingspider 7 років тому

      Damouse8it it's the most accurate way to do it. Relying on just the hematoma takes many procedures and again isn't as accurate. Taking baby aspirin prior and using a suction device after treatment is one way to improve those results thought.

      Damouse8it I would recommend fillers man. Submalar implants are too invasive.

    Dr Joe, interesting video about the nasolabial folds. Besides filler, do you ever use biostimulators such as Sculptra or Ellanse (not many practitioners use this one) for generating collagen to the nasolabial area? Thanks.
