@@davidcarter2368 thanks so much! That means a lot! It mainly depends on the size of the piece, but I’d say anywhere from $1,300-$1,800 or so!

@@robertconley4437 I didn’t..I contemplated doing something for it, but I just made it fit pretty snug so that it couldn’t be knocked out easily!

Very nice build. Sub'd and looking forward to your videos. One question on the kennel. The small piece that is removable to take out the trays; how is it held in place? Just a friction fit, or magnets?

I’m not really sure because I would just work on it a few hours on a few days of the week!
Did you add any rust prevention on the rebar? Did you coat them at all to make them less harmful to a dog if there sitting there licking or chewing them?
I didn’t…The person I built this for said nothing on then would be fine
How did you secure the wood piece that covers the tray pull-out section? It is not clear how you secure the cover piece there. In the video, it appears to just be set in place but not secured. If that is the case then how does it not just fall off? Sorry if I missed it, but how large are the plastic trays that were used with this? Thanks
Hi!..I didn’t secure the wood piece for the trays..I just made it to where it would snugly fit in the slot so it couldn’t just fall out but with a little force it would come out!…and the trays were 47” X 29”.
How much did it cost you to build? Thanks for linking instructions!
I believe it cost me around $200!..but that is with 2020 lumber prices (much higher than normal) so in normal circumstances it would be much less!..and no problem!..just trying to help anyone out that watches my video(s)!

@@tarynobrien3391 the person that I was building it for worked somewhere that had a lot of rebar so he cut them for me
What wood did you use
Just common boards from my local hardware store..so I’m going to say spruce/pine wood!
What size of screws did you use
I believe that I used 2-2.5” screws!
Do you think I would be able to put a 55 gallon fish tank on top of it?
Yes, I think that it would be able to support something like that

Looks great, man, but good lord that’s a lot of pocket holes. You sure do love your pocket holes, huh? Wood glue wouldve been easier AND more durable on a lot of these pieces. Mainly the top.

It’s a dual DOG CRATE ........not a kennel.
Had so much hope for this video.. Measurements and directions are TRASH. Spent 3 weeks working on this, and when it finally came to assembling… NOTHING lines up! Absolutely frustrating. I have to start from scratch. Talk about a waste of time and money..
