  • Welcome to this week's update. I couldn't upload one last week as my internet went down so this is a bumper edition, I've finished a project and I introduce the new one! Also, another shout out for the Wizz Kidz charity!

Great update, Jamie! I've received my Clear Prop DH. 88 Comet and Culver PQ-14 drone. They are both lovely kits.

Maybe build a kit and auction it off Jamie with a signed copy of your book

The finish on the Hispano is lovely Jamie. Simple but really effective.

Just noticed the Drawer Labels - Lead / Pure / Lag - I work with Database Queries and use Lead & Lag (sad I know)

Can't remember where I heard it, but I think there are issues with things exploding on box art these days. Something to do with depictions of violence, perhaps. That's why box art isn't as exciting any more.

That was the 80's, it's fine now. And this is from China and I'm not sure they're overly bothered!

Looks a stunner Jamie, like the look, colour and subtle weathering of your 112. BTW, in hindsight - of course - footy was a goodie (unusually...).

Great looking Buchon. I look forward to your approach on the Sea Harrier. Only heard about the challenges that the kit presents.

It's not a Buchon mate, that's the M, this is the K, nick named Tripala.

If memory serves, there were some pretty 'out there' markings on USAF Librator 'Assembly Ships'. Gannet AEW3, count me in - think I have slides of one at the Yeovilton Air Day in 1977 (Queen's Silver Jubilee). Oh, and the recent Dora Wings 1:48 Beaver sprue shots are looking very good.

Have you seen the series of videos of this Sea Harrier kit by Peter Oxley on youtube?......might be worth a watch if you haven't already before you start it.

Hi Jamie I have just watched your last video and I find your work exceptional. I have followed you for many years. Hearing you would like ideas for the wiz kids charity I would like to donate a Kotare Mk 1 Spitfire for you to do what you like. Either raffle or build and review then raffle the finished model. Please feel free to get in touch to arrange getting it to you. Keep up the good work. Best wishes Matt Nicholls. IPMS Birmingham and West Midlands Police Scale Model Club.

Looking forward to the FRS.1 - have toyed with getting that kit but certain builders have put me off it. Wanted to do a Falklands duo with the Kinetic GR.3 40th Anniversary Kit I have.
    Love the Hispano

Hey Jamie - would you think of selling any of your kits?
