I just paired my Sony 1000xm4 to my tv then I turned on my ps5, But I can hear the sound from both tv and headphones too, so I completely turned off the tv volume(not Bluetooth volume)and I experienced no issues in-terms of latency using headphones. But don’t know how this Bluetooth sound adapter helps.

Does using a dongle on a PS5 eliminate sound delay? The only way I've found to attain no delay is to connect my headphones to my controller with a wire but can't control the volume with my TV remote which is kinda irritating.
If you dont need voice chat you can also connect the headset to your phone and use remote play with another account on the playstation, the controller can still be connected to the ps5 and the audio lag is not really noticable

I, i know my reply comes a bit late but the adapter is aptx low latency certified. Lag is reduced to less than 40 ms. In addition, if your headphones are compatible you can use 3D and Dolby on them. It works with mine. I have a life Q30

If the dongle has a pairing button it will work with your headset. The PS5 says "not supported" on all audio devices that attempt to connect via Bluetooth

Worse Bluetooth adapter ever I tried to use it for my AirPods and will straight up not work when I’m on my bed and my ps5 is by my tv and if it’s literally 2 inches away from me it constantly looses sound randomly it doesn’t even disconnect and my audio is still connected to avantree c81

The USB type C does work but it took me ages to connect... Took almost 30 mins as it tried to connect to everything but my headset.
