Does the mic on headphones work?
Knock knock man.....so Im using my lil airpod pros. I set the Ps5 settings volume all the way, then in CoD put the settings to head phones and volume all the way up and yet sound still is low. Obviously airpods dont have a volume button so how do we crank up the volume??

any modern tv can connect to a sound bar through bluetooth or hdmi arc anyway, and obviously you’ll be using the ps4 with the tv. if you’re tv is older and doesn’t have HDMI and bluetooth then i’m pretty sure there is a AV to HMDI cable that come with the sound bar or you can purchase somewhere

Got the gulikit. Works without lag. Volume is too low though on my airpod pros. Are you facing a similar issue? Any tips on how to increase the volume. Shows maximum volume on my Ps5 but definitely doesn’t feel like it.

@@nabilali5004 I actually stopped using the gulikit all together. I ended up buying the pulse 3d headset. Worth the money in my opinion.
Go to settings on the ps5 look for sound in the settings and the you can make the sound louder
It works but what’s funny is those $600 airpod Max’s will actually sound worse than say the $99 pulse 3D headphones. The reason is the wireless codec. To get the full benefit of the AirPods you need to be using a device that supports ALAC which is mostly apple products. When you’re using that genki adapter it defaults to a much lower quality codec. Where’s the pulse 3d headphones with the included dongle are using Sony’s proprietary audio codec for low latency sound. So the experience is better optimized. More expensive headphones won’t always get you better sound. But it does get the job done

I don't believe its ALAC codec, I think they sounds shitty because they stay in "conversation mode" where mic is on, so sound quality is like when you talk thru them, which is far worse than normally :(

@@zuluachilles Apparently you have to buy the cable from Apple. They have a chip in the cable I believe that makes it work.
I use Beats 🎧 Solo Pro with Bluetooth on LG TV
No dongles needed.

Unfortunately, you can't connect Bluetooth devices. This was the workaround. The Bluetooth transmitter connecting via USB to the ps5 seeing the bluetooth connection.

Hows the latency when you use the dongle ? I was thinking of getting the aipod pro max, but im mostly will be using this with my ps5. Im also only playing first person story driven game ( like spider man for exemple, horizon forbidden west, etc) But if the audio dont follow the game that will suck. In another tutorial in youtube, they said ps5 doesnt need a dongle in order to connect a bluetooth earbuds/headsets. It already allows you to connect via settings/bluetooth accessories

I just tried a bluetooth adaptor with SONY's wireless headphones and I got a message that PS5 does not support wireless sound devices.
Before buying. Try to connect your airpods directly to your tv. This worked for me and I can play any game or movie through the tv now.
