Great video. The tip on the noise I wouldn’t have even thought of. Question how do you like your Napier tent. WWhich one did you get I’m thinking the Napier or the ridge line just starting with my set up for car camping going to Denali this year
Thanks so much for this video, just a stupid question, would this fit the platinum too? Like are all the models the same as long as it’s a 2021? Thanks.
So these are the OEM Nissan rails? Making sure I understood your caption. I have some cheaper aftermarket I just bought for my 21 Rogue and they look very similar but once I get to about 30-40mph they whistle with the wind… drives me nuts and I’m tempted to spend more for OEM parts if they are silent like before I installed. Have you (or anyone else) noticed wind noise or whistles?
I’m trying to figure out the screedriver i should use for mounting mine. I have bough so many scredrivers and nothing seems to work. Some of the scrwdrivers i bought are torx 30 1 inch torx 30 2inch several phillps drivers and thick looking drivers. Can someone tell me the size to fit these bolts? They look thick.. also in case of buying a screwdriver bit what is the name of tool to be use on top of the screw to attach it and rotate the screw?
Thanks for the video! Have you installed anything else for your rogue? Looking at getting the interior accent lighting and kick plates done but not sure if I trust myself lol. Seeing someone else would greatly be motivating
I have a blk sv but not awd I don't think this will fit mine I think my rails are flushed with the roof idk I have to go double look at it now.i really want this too it'll look nice, yours is nice aswell
Sorry, I just kinda skimmed through your video. Are the factory crossbars plastic or cast metal? I saw a lot of fancy ribs and molded shapes under the trim cover there. I've been pestering Thule to hurry up and bring some feet for this model year to market already. My wife has been leasing these for all the model years they've been in the US and have been able to keep swapping the Thule universal raised roof rail grabber feet from car to car. But like you've shown here, these new flush rails need a totally new design which neither Thule nor Yakima has a solution for yet and it's been two years!
Hi There, they are metal. When I researched for some crossbars at the time, the Nissan brand was the only that I found for this model year. I kept finding, at the time, Thule, and other brands were still developing a version that would fit due to the change in the mounting rails for the crossbars on the 21 Rogue.
How’s the factory part? I purchased a cheap 120-buck Amazon third part crossbar. Also installed it myself. Apparently, when the speed is 40-60mph, I will clearly hear some wind noise(the car is pretty quiet before installation). Do you have extra noise after installation?
It came factory with the roof rails, we purchased the rack cross bars. I do not believe you can have the "Roof Rails" (the rails in which the rack crossbars install to) installed POST factory.from what I know.
Yeah, may have to fabricate a bracket alternative or look at many basket options. I have heard that some folks out a thick rubber piece between the basket bracket and the crossbar, then tighten it down. We have no direct experience on the baskets and have chosen to utilize a trailer hitch/receiver basket instead.
Excellent job I am going to go buy some for my 2021 Nissan rogue
Did great! Appreciate the step by step walk through!
Thanks, I do what I can to assist ;-)
Thanks for the video. The dealer wanted $360 to install them on top of the cost is the rails. Took me 45 minutes after watching your video.
Great ;-) > Glad I could assist you in saving some $$. How did they come out?
Thats an absurd amount. Glad i watched this video.
Exactly! So glad I found this video! I can’t wait to install my own!
Reallly helpful! Now I'll be into the installation of my roof rack! Thank you man!
I just ordered some for our rogue so we can get a Christmas tree and not have it resting on the sunroof like last year lol glad to see these work well
This is brilliant, thank you so much! Just picked up my new X-Trail (UK Rogue) and was wondering how the caps came out! Thank you ❤
Thank you. Mine came installed and I was looking for instructions how to remove it and reinstall it (in future). This was very helpful.
Good to know we could help... Adventure On ;-)
Appreciate your video, helped me a lot on our 2023 Rogue install.
Excellent > Glad it assited you. Happy travels
Love the license plate! Just got my Rogue and was thinking about some cross bars. Thanks for doing this!
Thanks > Had to add some flare to the persona, so hence the license plate... Take Care.
Helpful. Can you show how you put the cargo carry on top of it?

No wind noise I heard at the times I drove around surface roads or highway speeds (no driving like I stole it of course - LOL).

So far, cross bars, tinted driver/passenger side windows is all. Trying to kep it simple and use it for adventures.
Could you show us how it looks from inside if you look up out of the moonroof? Wanted to know how it affects that
I have a blk sv but not awd I don't think this will fit mine I think my rails are flushed with the roof idk I have to go double look at it now.i really want this too it'll look nice, yours is nice aswell
Need to factory roof rail for the crossbars to attach to?
Hi
What is the brand or model number of this? I want to buy the same one.
Don't you have to take the bolts out so the cross member will screw down

Wife and I had not noticed any extra wind noise ourselves, but were matured in life and just may a filtered out...LOL.
Did your rogue come with the roof rails? I have 21 SV with no roof rails, and after ordering these
I need roof rails. Nissan is saying we can't
It came factory with the roof rails, we purchased the rack cross bars. I do not believe you can have the "Roof Rails" (the rails in which the rack crossbars install to) installed POST factory.from what I know.
Just curious if you found a kayak rack that fit the crossbars well. I am having trouble finding one that fits due to the angle of the crossbars so far
I have not as of yet.
I can't find it in egypt😢
Isn't the front cross bar comes in an angle? I tried to put a basket and it wouldn't sit properly. Any tips?
Yeah, may have to fabricate a bracket alternative or look at many basket options. I have heard that some folks out a thick rubber piece between the basket bracket and the crossbar, then tighten it down. We have no direct experience on the baskets and have chosen to utilize a trailer hitch/receiver basket instead.
Our nissan is on it's way too us. How does it do with the sun roof?
Does fine, no interference with the operation of the sunroof.
