- Aside from the easy to read instructions. They leave out a bunch of things that I point out in this installation. So before you go and install those Amazon roof racks on your 2017 to 2024 Mazda CX-5. Watch this video in its entirety before attempting this. It is pretty straight forward, but I show you a couple of things that the manual does not address. So here they are from your local Bezos warehouse, these are the exact ones we bought or similar.

Thank you for the installation breakdown. Very helpful. I am wondering if I can assemble the whole thing (rails + cross) before putting them on the roof it should be easier to tighten the tricky bricky cross vs rails bolts. btw loved the comments. Thank you again !
It sounds doable, but everything cant be tightened up all the way..and your definitely gonna need 2 people to line everything up..hmm..sounds better than actually doing..lol
this was helpful. How much of the sunroof does it obstruct? It kinda looks like its over the back part that doesn't open anyways but it's hard to tell.
Good question. I never even checked. But im assuming they took that into consideration when they designed them.
Question… would this kit fit on a 2016 Mazda cx5?
It does not specify the 2016, so I would say no. But, I am sure it is very similar to the 17-up. Most vehicles are very similar in installing roof racks.
