And while the "cringe" and other adjectives track, there's something in all of this that I think a lot of people relate to. I sort of straddled that line. I did start college in 2003, but I guess I was mistaken for thinking I was watching Daxflame in my Freshman year. Anyway, going to college in 2003 was interesting. I mostly think of it from a technology standpoint. Google had already become the most popular search engine, but up until then, a different search engine would take the top seat every few years. So it wasn't _that_ obvious how big it would be. MySpace was the most popular social network. Facebook started during my second semester, but in the early years it was only available to specific schools. it would be a couple years before my small college was added to list.
