It's been over a year since I discontinued the best abilities series, but at the recommendation of Mr. HappyChimeNoises, I decided to revive it but in a different style! Instead of talking about the best abilities for each role, we're gonna talk about the best abilities for each CLASS. So let's begin with the best Passive, Q, W, E and Ultimate for the Fighter Class!
~Chapters~
0:00 - Introduction
4:21 - Best Passives
6:55 - Best Q
8:48 - Best W
10:20 - Best E
12:16 - Best Ultimates

Oh wait I made a mistake. Riven's a skirmisher not a fighter. 😥
Also PSA: Fiora and Jax are also skirmishers, not fighters. Stop asking me why I didn't put Fiora's W or Jax's E -_-
Ah yes the fighter class but with less downside
Oops?
Riven can be whatever class she wants to be.
I don't know if it's just me, but I always feel like some tankier skirmishers (e.g. Riven, Jax, Kled, Gwen) are much more similar to fighters (divers, juggernauts) than they are to their sister class of assassins.
Well at least you have us the info that you're talking with Off-Meta man himself, which was something I thought about for a while so thats cool ig
A bit of theory crafting, to me the strongest strategy to use is to make the guys against you rage quit so here it goes.
Shaco's Passive, Shaco's Q, Shaco's W, Shaco's E and Shaco's R. I think there won't be anything more frustrating than this combo.
It's a very good strat actually, when I'm against ranged top (as a Sett main) I just spam my Mastery 7 whenever I get cs and whenever they die I get on their body and spam ctrl + 3 (the sit ups), then they come back and they start inting! I don't do that against melee champions, I have respect for them ofc
Give shaco the fiddle Q...point and click 2s fear + passive fear on any attacks from unseen (or 15% max hp dmg)
@@communistpenguin8538 You my friend understand what pain feels like, i can respect that
Le Blanc passive, Shaco Q, Neeko W, Zilean E, Shaco R.
@@stixinst5791 you disgust me for coming up with that idea
Active: Jax enters Evasion, a defensive stance, for up to 2 seconds, causing all basic attacks against him to miss. Jax also takes 25% reduced damage from all champion area of effect abilities. After 1 second, Jax can reactivate to end it immediately.
Its a better shen w and ya cant change that
Halal
Halal
@@youtubegoose7021 for jax yeah, but shen W can block all attacks and even most on-hit applying spells (like viego ult) for him and his teammates
@@maxomega3 Im pretty sure jax does that too but ye shen is more of a support compared to jax and giving shen that would be pretty op
I like How PQWER lools like "Power"

I like how "lools" looks like "looks"
🤓👆
@@fan8706 nah bro i like how LQQLs looks like “looks”
Riot’s out here taking notes off of this to craft the new “balanced champion”
I feel like Nasus’s Ult is heavily underrated. Just because he’s not a 200years champ doesn’t mean that 70 armor AND magic resistance, 600 Bonus Heath, and half cooldown on Q (Camille Q on 0.5 sec cooldown?) should be ignored. Not to mention damage aura for 15 seconds and ridiculously short cooldown for such an ability
Camille 2nd Q takes a while to cast tho
Imagine if Illaoi's W was her Q. SMACK SMACK SMACK SMACK with % max hp damage every second.
doesn't only half syphoning strike? as sylas q doesn't get the CDR, while for vayne which effects her q not tumble, let's sylas go invis on a cast? if I remember correctly
i think nasus best ability is his w; 95% slow and 48% cripple is insane on any fighter.
Minor critique: Illaoi's E does potentially have tentacles to use. The tentacles that spawn as a result of the tether being broken early (via running away or killing the spirit) spawn independently of the passive (your passive can be on cooldown and, if given the space to do so, up to three tentacles will spawn that can slap). They ultimately become subject to the same rules as all the other tentacles, therefore becoming unusable if applied to any other champion, but for the duration of that section of the E you will have access to a couple of tentacles.
I mean, we can basically consider those tentacles a part of the ability, because they do something on their own - they attack the vessel. Which, I think, is fair enough.
@@kindatim I usually bring it up because most people, rightly believing Illaoi is passive-reliant, seemingly disregard the tentacles exclusive to the E. It's a pet peeve more than anything lol.
problem: you miss the damage increase from illaoi q on those tentacles.
@@RB-xc9wg True, but you still have access to the tentacles. They do next to nothing, even on Illaoi, outside of being a nuisance. They still exist though, and that's all I was getting at.
the fact that 2 of the 5 abilities were camille's and that her ult almost replaced j4 ult says a lot about how strong camille is
edited the 4 abilities thing for 5 abilities, i forgot for a second how many abilities a champ has
5 abilities* when you take Passive in consideration, but yea, still 40% of the kit
@@Akinoden thanks for the observation, already edited the commentary to correct the error hahah
for me camille is not that strong her A is the only way to deal real damage and if you nerf it then camille is completly useless, but this is just my opinione
I havent played camille but it sounds like her kit is a team full of super good players but they have terrible synergy so thats why they dont win / the abilities do not ger nerfed
@@multixdd ? They synergize perfectly. She is known for quick short trades, kitting and ulting to dodge stuff in duels/teamfights or to lock some slippery squishy like Zeri/Ezrael with her team + it has wombo combos with teammates sometimes as well like for example Galio or Ziggs. What you were trying to describe could be said about something like Neeko who has anti synergy in her kit and is stuck behind two completely different intensities: catcher mage and all in diver.
I think it would be interesting to see what your "ultimate kit" would be for each class, listing your nightmare-fuel combination of abilities in one kit, just to summarize the video.

Passive: Mundo (CC immunity is just so useful on anyone, especially someone who is facetanking stuff)
Q: Camille (Massive DMG, free MS, what more can you want?)
W: Sett (Will combo really well with E, and plus one of the main balancing things for sett is his lack of mobility and ability to be CCed [both of which are now being covered], one of the main balances of higher dmg fighters like Camille is one shot-ability [which this covers].)
E: Aatrox (20% Healing on Cammile Q? Dash to get true damage part of sett W [and healing on that too]? yes pls)
R: Warwick or VI R for the gap close + cc (Edit: got rid of yone R, though LOL puts him in fighter class, as others have said, his primary is skirmisher assassin, and added VI r as it also provides same functionality)
Yone is a skirmisher. Those and the assasins are in the slayer class.
Yone is a slayer.
Aatrox E also let’s you reposition mid W/Ult
vi r, easy gap closer
@@herrscherkiller3432 i mean, he justified Rengar as a fighter here when he's an assassin, I'm sure you could justify calling Yone a fighter
I think my combo would be: Darius passive, Riven q, Lee Sin w, AAtrox e, and Sett Ultimate. The rational being mega drain tank with insane mobility and damage, but also insec plays with w flash ult or engages with w ult
Id say mundo passive camile q pantheon w and sett e and morde ult
From the support I must say Sorakas E is my favorite of all the supports abilities, In URF I call it the anti-fun zone.
I've been noticing recently that her e is delayed in actually casting the silence n people even though it was already down. I've already lost count of the number of times I cast it on someone and they used their ability anyways.
@@quickredf0x143 bc the ability is already casted, Soraka E doesnt make the spell disappear
@@laplace4368 I've had an Ez straight up cast his q in it before.
I remember having so much fun watching MockRock's video on smash moves and I'm hella pumped to see you retackle this video format! Looking forward to the rest~
Would have been cool if you had first taken the 3 best abilities/passives like you did here, but then at the very end "designed" the best fighter from all of those abilities. Otherwise I am happy that you came back to make this mini series.
words can't describe how much I love you for having the theme for futabas palace playing in the background ❤
Great video, one recommendation: it would be cool to see your mock champion at the end where you compile your subjective THE best abilities into a champ.
I'm just gonna say that mordes ult can be game changing or absolutely useless
It's a badly designed ability, because it's entirely within the power of Morde's target to react and cancel it out. Any ability like that feels bad to use.
@@HamsterPants522 an incredibly impactful ability that requires morde to be smart when using it (so he doesnt get 4 manned after he exits) and the enemy champ gets to play a little minigame is WAY better than the million point-click-die or stat stick ults in this game, imo
@@Rukir Ok, but that wasn't my point. I'm saying it feels bad to use for the person playing Morde.
it all depends on the enemy's willingness to spend 1300g really
You know, Darius passive, Hecarim W, and Illaoi E is a pretty good combination in lane. All you need to do is and 1 E and you get easy regen from bleeding the spirit. Add Riven’s Q and the enemy risks dealing with the equivalent of 6-7 bleed stacks from the spirit’s damage transfer with the aoe physical damage.
ive been here since i started league and i have watched nearly all of your videos these last few months, i think this was a great way to revive this series and im glad to see it return
It's videos like these that make me wish that League has a Legends of DOTA type game mode that allows you to mix and match any and all abilities in any slot
Was about to comment the same thing. Riot really needs to copy Ability Draft.
@@ip5676 Look at ultimate spellbook, it was a mess just with ults
If they add more I believe the game will start crashing at like 2 minutes
I love this. I always wondered about a world where you can swap anyones abilities for anothers in a mode.
A fun/horrible one was
Mordecaizer passive, lillia q(this can be changed to whatever), shivana w, karthus e and fiddlesticks ult. Just for fun.
For E I would make an arguement for Elise's Rapel. (Yes, Elise is a Diver)
It is such a versatile ability, it can be used offensively as a gap closer. Defensively as essentially a zhonyas where you can end somewhere else. If you have vision of jungle camps or plants it can be used as an escape tool.
If your jungling it can be used to stay alive in tight Drag/Baron fights just long enough to snag a smite.
And it can even just be used for mind games. Maybe I'm biased as an Elise main, but the versatility of this move with other champion abilities could be freaking insane!
I LOVE THIS VIDEO I love the concept and I love everything
Might as well give my personal choices for this:
Passive: Ornn
Q: Darius
W: Urgot
E: Aatrox
R: Olaf
Have fun being the most unkillablle run-&-gun raidboss since actual Urgot
Zero CC, slow, very minor gap closer. you will run,gun and do nothing. And remember, urgot W does nothing without his passive.
Whats the point of orn passive when olaf r removes your armor and mr?
@@alex2005z It only removes the armor and mr passive, ornn passive still gives you a ton of bonus hp
@@redstranger6772 feel like a bit of a waste of a part of his passive
@@alex2005z it doesnt since the rework
Can't wait for the next class based episode!
Thanks for the Udyr mention :)
Can't wait for the rework
I feel we need more honorable mentions.
Jax E - Shit on every auto reliant champ in the game, low cooldown, multiple uses and more or less makes Jax what he is.
Trundle R - Morde ult but with much more stat stealing.
Aatrox Q - Its a little hard to land but its 3 instances of hard cc in 1 ability with high AoE damage, 2 of them have the same range as marksmen autos.
Fiora P - Max hp true dmg, healing and movespeed.
Nasus R - Stupid amounts of free stats and Q haste can be applied to every single other champ in this class.
You can proc sheen twice in a row with Jax’s E, not many other abilities can do that.
Persona 5 music let's go. Great video like always
Here is my take on enchanter one
P: Nami's Surging Tides
Q: Janna's Howling Gale
W: Yuumi's you and me!
E: Ivern's Triggerseed
R: Seraphine's Encore
When I took a look into to the support passives there weren't much options considering most of them require you to auto attack which isn't something this custom support wants to do if you've seen its W
So among Janna lulu nami and seraphine although it was a close one I picked Nami surging tides because if I pick seraphine stage presence half of its value is already gone and on top of that double casting you and me is pointless I went for a better option nami surging tides
It gives movement speed which is nice but with the ap you get from attaching the speed you will be granting cannot be matched the only reason its not op on nami is #1 she doesn't gain ap out of nowhere and #2 her cooldowns are a bit longer compared to other enchanters ally targeting skills with a low CD and good ap scaling shield or heal this will be nuts
Ivern's triggerseed
For the reasons I mentioned above among the 4 best enchanter shields (because there is no enchanter heal on E) Janna lulu karma and ivern because not only is it what we want - high ap ratio low CD - it also deals damage AND a slow like what could you ask for more in a single skill with its massive %80 ap ratio and 7 second CD in rank 5 its the most desired support shield.
Lulu shield doesn't work because you don't have pix
Karma shield is very valuable and may even replace ivern's thanks to the speed but a little damage is needed as we already get speed from our passive not to mention its inferior ap scaling of %50
Yuumi's You and me
Do I have to explain? Like seriously its objectively the best support tool in the entire game it gives adaptive force makes you untargetable gives YO adaptive force allows you to get a 5th item and makes you follow your carry so you literraly can't get picked by any means as long as your carry is alive
Janna's Howling Gale
Very versatile can make plays, engage if used right and is one of the best did engages even more so if paired with glacial augment not like enchanter Qs are very exciting
Seraphine's Encore
We have more than enough protection and utility so for R we need damage and crowd control ultimate and nothing does this better than seraphine's encore its got high damage long range and a charm instead of a stun which is more favourable you can even chain CC it into Howling Gale
What do you think of my champ? I call her
Nanauvephine
I like the concept, and I agree with your picks. I would also like to see you list off all the champions that are eligible to be on your list. I'm going to make two different lists for myself - one for each subclass (Diver and Juggernaut.) Also, I'm not going to go for the best, but I'm going to try to make synergistic, strong, and really fun (in my opinion.) Also one ability per champion.
Diver -
- They will have Elise - Human's base Attack Range (550)
- They will use Mana
Passive - Diana - Moonsilver Blade
Q - Camille - Precision Protocol
W - Renekton - Ruthless Predator
E - Rengar - Bola Strike
R - Vi - Cease and Desist
I accidentally created a ranged-diver champion with a potentially 650 range point & click stun and Camille Q. I'm so sorry everyone.
Juggernaut -
- They will have Urgot's Range (350)
- They will be manaless
P - Mordekaiser - Darkness Rise
Q - Trundle - Chomp (AD changed to AP at 1.6* the scaling)
W - Nasus - Wither
E - Volibear - Sky Splitter
R - Dr. Mundo - Maximum Dosage
This time I think I created a much more fair champion, but one that can catch up to enemies and has the survivability to fight them, can stay on top of them, and do the damage to finish them off.
Let me know what you think (besides top lane players who will despise my Diver)
Ohh i wish they would create an ability draft mode like in Dota 2.
Nice video :D I like this theme.
I don't know if anyone's already said this, but one other interesting thing you could add to these videos would be at the end creating the ultimate most broken champion with a hodgepodge of the abilities you went over
I realized how much you have blown up from a long time ago as I have watched when you had like 10k subs but now you have 160k subs!
Heyooo XD I recognize your name lol
P:Darius (would give AP instead of AD)
Q: Lillia (4 sec AOE true damage + bonus MS ability based on AP which u get from passive)
W: Fiora (outplay button with 100% AP scaling)
E: Aatrox or Jayce hammer form (both great abilities that can be used defensively and offensively)
R: Garen or Trynda (cuz why not have a 1k true damage nuke on a 1k MS champ? or just a second outplay button that CAN be used while CC-ed)
Lillia, Fiora, and Tryndamere are slayers, not fighters.
@@HamsterPants522 slayers fall into fighter category
Its like saying Braum is not a tank , he is a warden
@@Gorecatto No, it doesn't. Slayers are as similar to fighters as tanks are. Slayers encompass champions ranging from Master Yi to Talon. Fighters encompass champions ranging from Xin Zhao to Volibear. Tanks encompass champions ranging from Shen to Malphite.
Fighters exist to be versatile, so they act as a hybrid between slayers and tanks, but they lack the offensive and mobile power of slayers, and they lack the defensive and peeling capabilities of tanks.
@@HamsterPants522 lillia is a fighter
@@pedrofaria6236 She's a skirmisher. She was even described as such before she released.
I'm very surprised none of Volibear's abilities even made honorable mentions here. Passive, W, E, and R are all extremely strong.

P: Darkness Rise (Go Fast
When Doing DMG)
Q: Obliterate (Do The BIg DMG)
W: Indestructible (Have The Big Shield/Heal)
E: Deaths Grasp (Have A Shitty Pull)
And this might come as a shocke
R: Realm of Death (Free Ticket To Brazil)
I think this could work really well
or it sounds like a complete stat check that just gets kited to death while providing nothing
@@thedebt2525 but he looks and sounds so cool while doing it
This video really made me want a "Theory champion" gamemode, where you get to pick a passive, q, w, e, and r from any champion in the game and throw them together on a single champion (the champion's passive you choose is the "body" you'd play with, getting that champion's base stats like attack range and movespeed and AD/health/ etc.
I remember I saw this a few years ago as an interesting idea and this video just reinvigorated that.
Soo ability draft(dota) just a bit better?
Passive: darius (broken if you can stack it fast
Q: Camille ( more dmg and mv speed) or Udyr (for a lot of dmg too)
W: Urgot (for a full darius passive in 2 sec)
E: udyr (a stun each 5 sec and mv speed) or aatrox (for healing )
R: olaf ( total immunity to CC and to the slow of Urgot W and mv speed)
Be sure to Q attack with urgot's W off tho, or else your Q only deals half the damage
If you think about it you don't actually need aatrox omnivamp if you have Darius passive because then you can just buy goredrinker and then go full tank but you will still draintank because Darius passive will increase goredrinker healing.
So how about Darius passive, nasus q nasus ult setts haymaker and Camile hookshot or Darius apprehend.
Tank nasus relies on sheen to help with damage but now with armor pen from apprehend it's going to make him immortal. The problem is that the enemies might die before hemorage is fully stacked which makes him weaker
Urgot don't get slowed, he set his speed lower by 125(if i recall correctly).
It doesn't interact with boots of swiftness, unflinching, phase rush, and sunfire.
Source : I am an urgot main that learned that the hard way.
So hyped for this
it would be so fun to have a rgm where you draft a kit from all champion abilities (some exceptions for transformers etc)
like legends of dota
“Hemorrhage needs no introduction”
*proceeds to fully explain how it works*
Ngl amongst the best passives i would definitely include Warwick's. It's almost exclusively the reason he can beat almost any other champ in a 1v1 at level one and that much pressure early can't be ignored on fighter.
Great video :D
My marksman best abilities are :
P: Kindred for scaling or Ashe for annoyance
Q: Senna - poke, utility and self peel
W: Vayne - true damage uncapped by vaynes range and attack speed
E: Ezreal - repositioning and damage
R: Kindred - one of the most impactful ults in marksman, period :)
Since you like theory crafting please make a series where you come with concepts of champions. What would their abilities do is the only requirement but you can and things like theme or skin concepts for that champion.
I personally like Vi's ult. Its a simple point and click, cc immune, dash that locks them in for a second and ensures no matter how fancy their moves or distance that you will reach them.
It'd be interesting to see you theorycraft the best possible team by mixing and matching four different abilities from different champs and calling that a new champ.
Man I've been saying this a lot I've never thought that the Persona soundtrack would fit in your videos this well...
I mean...where doesn't Persona fit?
Anyways great video as always
i love how the thumbnail legit highlights the theme around those champions by displaying ability letters in a ,,P Q W E R" word
Here's how I'd do one:
P - Hemorrhage (Darius)
Damage on all autos and abilities, free AD steroid at max stacks, simple but effective.
Q - The Darkin Blade (Aatrox)
Triple cast with a massive AD ratio to synergize with Hemorrhage.
W - Ruthless Predator (Renekton)
Auto attack reset with a stun that applies on-hits twice. For Hemorrhage.
E - Jousting (Kled)/Umbral Dash (Aatrox)
Both are dashes. Jousting hits twice and makes you super sticky (both very good things for Hemorrhage), Aatrox's is an auto attack reset that repositions for Q, which is good for, you guessed it, Hemorrhage.
R - Noxian Guillotine (Darius)
Hemorrhage.
Darius Passive, Riven Q, Sett W, Urgot E and Aatrox Ultimate for ooga booga AD.
If you go Goredrinker, Steraks, Titanics, Deaths Dance, Spirit Visage and Ionian Boots then you just do unspeakable things.
Your runes would be Conqueror, Triumph, Tenacity, Last Stand and for secondaries, you’d go Sudden Impact and Eyeball Collection.
I think this series is pretty cool though in the future you should maybe clarify what falls under the class your talking about. There seems to be some confusion on what a fighter is.
here is my opinion for the perfect and yet somewhat balanced
Passive: Darius so its interactive
Q:Hecarim for good wave clear
W:Jax for some auto resets and magic damage as well
E:Nasus for poke and armor reduction
R: Pantheon idk but i just like a fighter able to join fights lol
I'm excited for the mage video!
Riven Q ad scaling with Darius passive and her own ult, my God
I need a support video, Zilian W makes some interesting possibilities.
So udyr Q gives up to 80 percent bonus AS at max rank with darius passive this would go hard plus a 175% ad scaling ignite which deals alot and combine that with darius passive again pair that with panth stun which does 3 hits right after stun (exact amount of autos needed for udyr burn) and urgot E plus morde ult and you got a raid boss
That olad Ragnorak buff is/has been live since 12.9 dropped last week.
based on the thumbnail i thought this was one of those comment things that youtubers can make to ask question or state an opinion or something, and i thought it was on keyboard set up.
i was so ready to argue for the two finger method: Q on D, D on F, and F on G.
you use your pointer finger for D (Q) E R F and G and 4 for the ward. middle finger takes care of W, 2 and 3. i guess i actually technically use 3 fingers because i do, even on akali, often use A click which my ringer finger is always resting on.
going for another interesting combination:
passive - sett
Q - udyr
W - trundle (assuming urgot W cancels the stance, otherwise urgot's)
E - camille
R - Olaf
imagine being any squishy then having this monster jumping from a screen away hitting for 180 + 185% total ad + 100% bonus ad every "2" autos, immune to CC, with 80% + 60% + 110% attackspeed, all while moving at 122% bonus movespeed and being immune to CC and having an AD rabadon while ulting, that would be fun
Garen's ult is so good and in wildrift having it does have dash and aoe dmg you can use it to close gaps and with a high dps it's just good.
I will keep steadfast on the "Darius P, Heca Q, Sett W, Aatrox E and R" kit from the announcement post. If this is a mana champ, he would such digustingly high amounts of AD that he could drain tank entire teams while also doing a thousand damage with every Q.
Nasus' Q should get a shout out.
Depending on the other abilities drafted, it'd have the potential to be insanely broken. Arguably even more so than camille's Q.
Honestly Shyvana's Q is GREAT because not only does it count as 2 auto's, but each auto reduces the CD by 0.5 seconds. So it's an impressive ability all things considered, low CD, CD shortener, and because it's 2 auto's stuff that stack with attacks stack MASSIVELY faster then other Q's. Sure the second Q doesn't hit as hard but it's still can chunk
But you would be missing her W and E on hit effects proccing twice
@@dawidlol1337 I don't think you watched the entire video. Go rewatch it for comment context
@@kelmirosue3251 Yeah I have watched the video. You do realise that precision protocol can re recast early if you really want to stack something fast, it's not like you have to wait 1.5s and by late game the cooldown of it is basically as soon as the chogath ult is used. Shyv Q is nice with her kit but I really don't see how it would ever be better than precision protocol. Camille Q is so powerful as she is practically a 2 ability champ. Q for damage, E for mobility. R is nice but it doesn't do anything crazy it only really used to dodge a spell or gap close it's kinda half a spell.
@@dawidlol1337 Ok then re-read, did I state it was better then those? No I said it's a great ability and listed why it's a great ability. Never said it was an amazing ability
Darius passive
Camille Q
Reneckton W (unempowered)
Camille E
R dosnt matter much
You have a free 5 stack combo with
E > aa > Q1> w, saving q2 to use with the ad bonus.
tbf we don't even have to really make assumptions on how op a lot of those ults would be on other champs, since we saw them in ultimate spellbook and god they dominated
Will u make video about navori quickblades i were thinking about them and i reckon they are bad but i might miss something and want ur opinion about this item. Cheers
Now here's a question that remains in my head after the video. Which champ do you use as a base? I wonder which is the perfect fighter for a base for all the abilities.
When i think fighter i think melee champion who wants to get in the brawl and duke it out while soaking alot of pressure. As a result my bias leans towards abilities with high damage or increasing/persistent damage in battle, survivability especially if that survivability allows low hp baiting or stickiness. (Spoiler I have a bias towards Olaf type playstyle)
Passive: (In general I fully agree with the options given)
I think Darius Passive was a good option for increasing threat over a battle especially since its condition is merely that you are actively fighting offensively. I like Warwick's passive, similarly like Olaf's Passive as both essentially attempt same thing. Increase DPS and low hp survivability . Raw survivability wise I'd go with Shen or Vi shield, but i think Mundo passive in late game can be better especially since it also covers stickiness. Stickiness I like the unseen predator suggestion.
Q: (I prefer a skill that act as gap close and/or consistent pressure)
I think I like Olaf's Q since it can double as sustained damage while also providing stickiness/gapclosability. Similarly Mundo's Q altho it's single target, it has really strong base damage. I'll also go with Warwick's Q since it actually embodies what i want from my fighters. Strong survivability, good stickiness, good damage.
W: (I like this as a steroid spell or a bait spell)
Surprise surprise, I like Olaf's W here again. A shield scaling on missing health to bait enemies to overcommit and a health DPS increase to punish them for doing so.
That said I did definitely prefer Sett' W for the same reasons. The true damage hard nuke ontop of the massive shield really catches the eye for this category. Sett W EMBODIES the entire idea. You thought you got me low but that's what i wanted your team to try to do and over commit.
Wukong W flexibility is crazy tho. Mobility, DPS, Mind game potential, love it.
Also agree with Hecarim W since it's potential has a high ceiling as it's not just your own damage you vamp, you vamp your teams damage and the vamp isn't like diminished returns spell vamp either. It's 30%+ of damage you deal and 15%+ of damage done by your allies undiminished. The problem I have with Hecarim's W is that the duration and CD mean it's best used fully synergised with your team's maximum damage windows.
E: (I prefer this as a utility spell or a spell that emphasizes pressure)
Illaoi E is a great example of a spell that doubles as both an emphasizer of pressure and utility.
And while Vars mentions Darius E, I prefer Morde E. Same principle, more range and can also be used to gain space.
HOWEVER, Jax E and Warwick E are to me, best in slot. Survivability gimmick with Hard CC attached in sequence is actually really good.
R: (I think champion ultimates mostly emphasize their kits, however for the fighting class i really want a raid boss mode activated or a you're trapped with me type ultimate especially if it's an I'm not trapped with you, you're trapped with me type.)
Easily the best to me if you didn't catch my bias would be Olaf R, especially the updated one. It provides stickiness indirectly since you can't be peeled with CC, it increases damage as well as survivability. Raiid Boss mode incarnate. Most importantly, it incentivizes doing what fighters were designed to do, stay in the thick of the battle. I also of course like Nasus kit when he's in ult mode, I like Mundo Ult as simplistic as it is and of course Aatrox ult.
My you're trapped with me would be the Illaoi ults, Morde ults and Camille ults and Jarvan ults. Mega-Gnar would also be a big candidate for the best R but mega-gnar windows are generally too conditional and telegraphed.
Bonus round, Kit: (The kit i feel best represents what the fighter class is all about)
Olaf is clearly my fave. So i'll focus on my runner ups. Vi, Hecarim, Camille and Wukong to me are the best divers, They all have good builds or gimmicks that increase their survivability, strong engage/stickiness and ramping damage.
Darius is the best designed juggernaut to me especially since he's fair. He has sustain gimmicks, sufficient stickiness and ramping damage.
Mundo passive - bonus Regen and some CC immunity
Nasus Q - Infinitely scaling damage, procs sheen items.
Sion W - Infinitely scaling bonus health and shield as well as a good amount of damage when explodes.
Camille E - Long distance engage with a stun.
Vi R - point and click, can't be dodged, lock down, knock back anyone in the way.
The funniest combos would be:
"True Damage ^^' ":
Rengar P Jumps on to you
Camille Q Uses the first instance on the Jump
Sett W Just in case xD
Illaoi E so even if they run they dont xD
Garen R Dont hit it on the spirit ...
"Blood, everywhere !"
Darius P You see why
Riven Q 3 stacks of hemorage for free
Hecarim W 40 Omnivamp is always nice
Illaoi E. You can stack against the spirit as well ^^
Olaf. No Cc for this guy ^^
this is the reason why i think league need to add ability draft mode like dota did. theory crafting like this will be super useful there
Hello Vars . If you are gonna make one video for adc's i recommend to consider aphelious R to best adc R . His ult is litterally hard cc/ stat boost / poke / sustain / and AOE if you have the roght weapon and it is AOE it doesnt matter what gun you use
Also i think many people misunderstand mordekaiser's ult . in my opinion it is more to get that juicy extra damage from his isolated q.also his e death grasp basically has range eaqually to the diameter.
Basically use ult to get an e then isolated q then auto then activate your passive for the movement speed then auto them to death or use your q to kill them.
Side note: that but it only takes the champ with you so it basically kills yorick and makes teemo ult useless.
Edit mordekaiser passive too could be there in my opinion to since like darius it is balanced by mordekaiser.Image if u saw a Jax with PTA.
i as a support main can't wait for the support episode :)
Pretty telling that Camille was picked for best Q and E for ALL fighters.
edit: and honourable mention for ult
I think Trundle passive, mordekaiser q, pantheon w, Warwick e and Singed ult would be a fun champ.
honorable mention for keld's passive ? he is very hard to talk about but ma boy needs the light
Vars was 🤏 this close to just putting all of Camille's kit in here
I thought Kayle was a fighter but she appears now as a specialist. Imagine any fighter with her passive. Ggwp
Looking at the best of what wasn't mentioned:
Passive:
1) Olaf - Berserker's Rage: It's a lot of relevant free stats for a ton of fighters. You're basically guaranteed to win the all in off of this ability alone. It is a conditional stat stick passive and almost entirely tied to auto attacks. But it's the best one of its kind.
2) Sett - Pit Grit: Reasonable sustain that isn't turned off by anything and Left/Right Punch is a lot stronger than it looks at first glance. This by itself is okay. Where it shines however is with auto-attack resets and innately low cooldown abilities to weave in-between those punches, something a lot of fighters do have.
3) Mordekaiser - Darkness Rise: The biggest upside and downside to this passive is it's entirely tied to Ability Power. On-hit Auto-attack damage, and a three hit activation for AoE damage and movespeed. As far as AP Melee classes are concerned this is their best DPS passive period (Volibear's by contrast takes too long to wind up in most cases).
Q:
1) Olaf - Undertow. I'm actually kind of surprised this one snuck by. This is one of the best neutral abilities fighters get. Even better than Pantheon's Q. Decent Waveclear and slow, amazing armor reduction. As much base damage as Riven's entire Q combo with a solid 100% AD scaling, and the cooldown is lowered by picking up the axe. The biggest problem with this ability is its base cooldown is rather high (For a fighter) while its missile speed is rather middling. Meaning it's quite bad if you're unable to pick up said axe for any reason. Definitely takes getting used to.
2) Warwick - Jaws of the Beast: Wow is this ability good in the right hands. Solid damage. Low cooldown. Great scaling, and technically infinite sticking power. The problem is purely on its reach. The range. Is low. But when you're on top of someone you stay on them.
3) Skarner - Crystal Slash: This has one job and it's solid at it. Consistent, persistent, hybrid scaling melee range AoE damage. It's gated by the lack of an innate slow, but you can kill anything. It scales like a monster on any stat you can think of.
W:
1) Mordekaiser - Indestructible: A lot of defensive abilities are really hard to evaluate in a vacuum, but Mordekaiser's edges out others mostly on its passive accumulation, health scaling allowing it to work with AD or AP champions, and its dual purpose shield and healing properties. It's very good for making sure you WILL outscrap people.
2) Nasus - Wither: This ability is one of the strongest anti-carry abilities in the game, invalidating a good number of classes entirely in a 1v1/2/3 setting, and letting you catch the rest with a bit of CDR.
3) Warwick - Blood Hunt: If you want to find your enemies and kill them, this is for you. It's also one of the best one-point wonders in the entire game, and that is a relevant benefit. You get a lot for very, very little. If you only got the steroid through the passive I would say it's not the best scaling and is very conditional, but the fact you get it passively on top of the ultimate level cd activation makes it incredibly consistent.
E:
1) Trundle - Pillar of Ice: This is one of those abilities that gets criminally underrated because it's so easy to use badly. But terrain disruption is incredibly strong in this game when utilized properly, working both defensively and offensively. This singlehandedly makes Trundle support viable. And when paired with actually consistent movement abilities becomes incredibly oppressive.
2) Hecarim - Devastating Charge: I think we're all familiar with Hecarim's ganking and chasing prowess. This ability is strong for catching people out and lets you drag them back to your teammates for the kill if you have the time to overrun your target. It does exactly what it's supposed to.
3) Wukong - Nimbus Strike: Probably the best AP scaling dash in the game. It's actually criminal it's on Wukong. It's solid, just not on his kit.
R:
1) Pantheon - Grand Starfall: It's a global with great initial burst and good AP scaling. Of course it's here. The damage is inconsistent but the range is more than enough for a super ult.
2) Skarner - Impale: This ability is (admittedly) why Skarner sucks. It's fantastic on literally anyone with a dash and/or more movespeed than him. Add any other melee range ability you can spam during the effect and suddenly you have consistent burst to back up the strong catch this provides for a pick.
3) Xin Zhao - Crescent Guard: This isn't on the level of Camille, Morde, or Jarvan Ult, but it does a bit of all three of them. The biggest problem is other melee champs ruining your good all in fun. That said, it combines well with most of the dashes I've listed simply because none of them are Audacious Charge. Thereby enabling Lee Kick shenanigans because your challenge is limited to your auto attacks. And that makes this ability a whole LOT better as a disruption tool ala Gragas Ult because you can be sure exactly what kind of fight you've committed to.
would agree except for that pantheon R, that shit is a nightmare to land and can easily be the reason you lose the game with the wrong prediction unlike other Rs where you're guaranteed value
@@iforgot383 It's very hard to screw up a global ult after years of having to pick teleport top. Even if it did no damage I would pick it over every other bruiser ult just cause of its map pressure. That's the only consistent part of it.
U forgot Volibears ult, which is good cuz i guess that makes him a sleeper... but he leaps becoming unstoppable and it scales both ways allowing for ap ad or hybrid build paths, and when he lands it slows everyone in the huge radius and ohmwrecks all towers... Oh and he gains 700hp and becomes ghosted. GG
The specialists video will be rather interesting I imagine.
I think I would make a drain tank fighter and do like Morde Passive, Olaf Q, Hecarim W, Camille E, and J4 Ult
Concept for the tankiest hyper scaling build. (Any champs PQWER fyi)
Vlad passive
Leona Q
Sion W
Leona E
Chogath R
Absurd health scaling
You could build full tank and still get tons of ap because of vlad passive and unless they outrange leona E they can really tussle with you
I would have taken vlad Q as well, the ap missing hp scaling is very nice.
Will there be a specialist video or you will put them in already existing categories? (Fiddlesticks in mages etc.)
rengar passive for insane stick potential and ad rabadon which is great with any of the possible ways you could play this theory champ.
udyr q to become the ultimate aa bot works will with darius e passive and black cleaver which u would get 2nd/3rd item.
sett w if you wanna take j4 ult combo is to gapclose with rengar passive then j4 r to trap and darius e to pull and then u pop them for 1k+ true dmg with w.
or hecarim w to just be able to heal a ton prob most consistant in making the champ 1v9 broken with olaf r.
darius e great synergy with other spells and its passive + black cleaver + udyr attack speed steroid.
olaf r would prob really consistant in making the champ 1v9 broken with hecarim w.
j4 r for the sett w synergy.
Kinda surprised that Gwen W and Tryndamere Ult weren't mentioned here
Imagine if riot made a game mode "Build a champion".
You choose a class. (Marksman, fighter, assassin etc) and is given a champ as a blank slate depending on which you chose but is the same for everyone. (2 people pick marksman they get same champ).
You then pick a any abilities you want as long as they are within that ability 'type' so only Q's can be Q's. then you can que up and play against others and their champions.
This will never happen but could be absolutely insane.
Darius passive, riven q, sett w, camille e, and Darius r could be disgusting. You dash in, quickly stack passive, then ult for oneshot. Sett w is there to help turn fights. You might even completely cc opponents in the combo if you prep q1, have enough ah, and they have no tenacity. Darius r is there for the reset potential + passive synergy, but you could swap it out for garen, vi, or sett ult for the higher cc or damage potential. Sett w could be swapped out for hec w for the healing + potential aoe bleed stacking.
Edit: Just realized that riven is a skirmisher, so there goes the entire combo idea. Oh well. Might still be possible with urgot/hec w. Reksai q could maybe replace riven q, but riven q I feel just gives much more versatility + 0 mana cost.
A side note about Hecarim's W, it's not an omnivamp. It doesn't heal you for the damage you deal, it heals you for the damage the enemies within the circle receive. The difference is you don't have to deal any damage yourself as Hecarim, you can and you will be healed by the damage dealt by your ENTIRE TEAM. That's also the reason why Hecarim on lower levels has the "do not turret dive" class on low levels next to Malzahar, Renekton and Nasus. He heals also for the damage turret deals to the diver.
Add Shen to the 'do not dive' list - taunting people under tower and them getting 100-0'd by it is so hilarious every time it happens.
I just really wish that you showed a list of which champions you are counting in a roll at the beginning of the episode. That way I can better compare in my head different choices
I personally think you did overlook Warwicks passive. Healing 100/250% when below 50/25% health is gamebreaking when not on a champion like warwick.
My personal choice would be:
for a Juggernaut:
P: Warwick
Q: Riven
W: Sett
E: Urgot
R: Olaf
You don't kill this thing because it cannot be cc'd while having 4 small dashes and a nuke of true dmg that you want to cast at low health anyway
for a diver it would be:
P: Mundo
Q: Camile
W: Pantheon
E: Camille
R: Mordekaiser/wukong
Dash in while needing two hard cc's to be stopped, then either know up the whole team twice (which synergises extremly well with camille Q) or duel your target in the shadow realm. and you can lock a target further with W
You should do based in all champs
P: Darius. MASSIVE bonus AD steroid is just too good to pass up
Q: Volibear. Great amount of speed and a high damage stun
W: Sett. Haymaker is just too great to pass up, damage numbers on this will be extreme
E: Mundo. More bonus AD, plus some extra poke in lane
R: Mundo. Large amount of health and healing, and EVEN MORE bonus AD scaling off of health.
I'm a Sett fanboy, so bumping up his haymaker to ridiculous heights has always been a bit of a dream. I'd choose Sions W over Mundos E if i could, but i didn't want to put abilities where they don't belong. This setup would probably allow for Haymakers upwards of 7k or something like that, by my rough uncalculated estimate, plus Voli Q stun to ensure a hit on a single target if needed
I meeaaaan if cho R was available
*reminds me of ultimate spellbook, 10k hp sett with cho ult insta killing me with like 40% grit*
@@fitmotheyap Actually in ultimate spellbook the best ult you could get for Sett was Mundos, you would get around 300 bonus AD and around 1500 extra health. I have legit 1v5 oneshot an entire team with it
Q-darius, character will be about mass aoe damage so having a point and click aoe heal will be fantasic
W-sett, same reasons as before tbh large aoe true damage with a chunky shield
E- need a gap closer so renektons, even without passive having 2 charges that u can hold onto is great
R-j4, mass aoe damage with j4 ult is what it was made for so here we are
Darius Q is not a point and click ability?
@@agustinmartinez9084 originally had it as renekton then realised he doesnt have fury so forgot to change it when i said darius
As someone who loves playing specialists, how will champions be balanced around that class? Will specialists be treated as other classes depending on what playstyle is intended? will specialists be skipped entirely?
Vayne with Trynd ult and Veigar passive. My dream top lane champ.
Pantheon's W is so broken I once went Krakken Slayer and Blade of the Ruined King on him. Melted everyone. Whoever didn't melt I auto attacked until my cooldowns were up, which guaranteed Mortal Will.
From ur vid the best fighter would have Darius pass, Riven Q, Panth W, Illoai E, Morde ult. Daripa, the heart breaker, feeling female darkin that was on the shadow isles b4 ruination maybe effected her but not kill, caused the death of viego's love. Uses her organs as weapons.
What about Rhaast, what category did u put him in, I think his q is pretty nuts, the cd can come down to 1.5 secs if built with full cd
