    My personal tipp for SquadLeaders.
    You don't have to fight at the Front all the time.
    What I do sometimes, I just sit on a Hill or behind cover with my Radio guy and just watch my Squad while they attack.
    I keep an overview of the Battlefield, see where the enemies shoot from at my mates and I see the names of my Squadmembers and give them individually orders.
    And I can concentrate on the communication with the other squads.
    Cause if you're in a firefight yourself, you loose orientation real quick

    I wish people with bolt actions would suppress more. I've had so many times, especially when fighting in forests, where I know the general location of the enemy and I just start firing my k98k and I'll land random body and even head shots. Same for the MG's. Don't be afraid to spray some rounds in the general direction of the enemy

    New to Post Scriptum- been playing and getting hang of basics but my biggest problem is seeing the enemy- many times I just cant see who shot me or where its coming from.. I get lucky on occasion and get close shots or a distant shot on static target- just hard to visually see most of the time

    You play this game the way I played HLL. I want to get back to that point for PS. Honestly, the map in PS is a lot harder to interpret, there's more to it and I don't know which lines mean hedges or roads yet. One thing you could mention with your pro tip of looking at the map every few seconds is that binding your map to a mouse button is the way to go.

    I use pretty much all of these tips regularly. You should make some videos on specialty-role tips. For example, I am usually a very effective tank hunter when using an AT Launcher, and generally average between 3-7 vehicle kills in any given game when I’ve been playing AT the entire time. If you do, I can give some of my tips and tricks

    Most of all, I believe you need a lot of practice and experience to become a good squad leader. Everyone will probably be bad on the first try, there's a large number of moving pieces that you need to become comfortable with.

    I'm surprised you didn't talk about the plague of no mic squad leaders and squad mates not working as a team. I love the game but I've made it a point now in all the games I play in as squad lead to ensure my members have mics and if they don't they get kicked, and vice versa if I join in on a squad and the leader doesn't have a mic I leave the squad. You made good points but I truly feel that the game works best when there is pure coordination among squad members.

  • @rescamesta
    @rescamesta 4 роки тому +1

    Because it would be nice to shoot sometimes instead of walking and walking and walking and then die, rinse and repeat. This game is nice but it’s not realistic in the way people play it. You have the guy with an mg sitting there mowing down everything on sight. No one attacks the point in group like in ww2. No adrenaline and no action at all. It feels like another modern FPS where the rifle is used as a keychain or to suppress a guy that you might have seen at 600 meters away from you, fun. This is a game for those that are able to memorise the maps, it’s the only requirement to be good at it. Artillery and tanks are also ridiculous, overpowered to the extreme. I mean, you can go full realistic with ballistic and sounds but is the concept wrong

    • @jordanhenderson3307
      @jordanhenderson3307 4 роки тому +2

      You only time you die and rinse and repeat is when you don't change your strategy or don't Take squad leader or even suggest things to your squad leader. And Artillery and Tanks are supposed to be like that, that's why there's so little of them

    • @ExHyperion
      @ExHyperion 4 роки тому +1

      @@rescamesta HA, I've played the game for hundreds of hours, and I still dont have any of the maps memorised, I lead squads and my single squad can often hold an objective or take an objective the rest of the team fails to take. it's really just about managing your combat assets effectively, tanks are overpowered? I ran light AT and killed 2 churchills and a stuart in a single life, you want adrenaline? my single squad held an objective for 40 minutes against tank assaults and enemy pushes while the rest of the team had given up on it and fallen back. You're walking to your death because either: A, you're not communicating with your squad or other squads, or B, you keep walking straight towards the objective even though they have a machinegun pointed at you

    • @rescamesta
      @rescamesta 4 роки тому

      Hades my man, I admit that when I posted the comment I didn’t have the game figured out. I now after 200 h having fun and scoring kills. I do still believe that is more realistic a frontal assault than 4 guys flanking. Have you ever played at red orchestra? They got the formula right
