@seanster625 it's actually one of the snowey mountains. It's just been thawed out because of all the pollution haven city created to fuel the barons' large ego. The blue sages hut goes way off towards the coast and haven city doesn't reach that far out. It'd be on the outskirts if it were still around.
When I bought this game, I remember trying to see if any areas from part 1 were still intac, aside from Deadtown. I remember thinking that Mountain Temple would be where Gol and Maia's Citadel would be. But then I was like "Where are the Dark Eco silos then?" Lol
@@looeygit makes sense. Walk into deadtown Samos' hut is to the left . It seems the forbidden jungle would be located right around the coleseum, a little up, so in that city part of haven city, especially where all the big crops are on the map. Replying to the original comment, I think the dark eco silos may be much further ahead. You can see "snowy mountain"s past the mountain temple. Maybe the eco silos are a little bit further past the mountains.
The ones with the shield were loads of BS, but the rhino wasn't too hard to deal with. Just walk to the side and roll away to the other side of the little area then unload your rifle into it.
When I played this level for the first time I was excited because it was a very nice place that reminded me of the first game of Jak and Daxter. Everything was urbanized in and around Haven City but the Haven Forest and the Mountain Temple preserve the past of Jak's world and its nature.
The only level that remembers me Jak And Daxter 1 that remembers me Crash Bandicoot that remembers me the nostalgia that remembers me why are my favorite games of all time ;)
@Screen Play Jose Totally understandable. I personally love more Precursor Legacy for its more similarity to Crash, but Jak 2 and Jak 3 are still amazing games that doesnt have to envy anything to the first game or even the GTA series.
Well I hate to break it to ya but recently naughty dog co president said they have no plans at all for Jak and Daxter right now. They said they still would love to revisit it but it's not in their sights. I'm a huge fan of the series but ND needs to get their shit together and make a new sequel for gods sake, not only for the fans but for ND and for the series so it can make a huge comeback.
Best level in the game, I love all the game but 2 and 3 should have kept it more about the precursors and the echo than they did... this level had Precursor Legacy vibes
I love Jak 2, but it is far from the first game. I'm so sad they resorted to time travel instead of just expanding the world or something. The music and beauty was lost in 2.
This^^ I totally agree with you. Jak 2 is a great game with a good story but I was always curious to see what else was lurking in the previous world they made with Jak and Daxter. Jak 3 felt too rushed and introduced some enemies without any relativity to the previous entries acting like we were supposed to know them the whole time (Example: Vegar) and didn't take itself too seriously towards the end. Which is why 3 was my least favorite.
My guess is that naughty dog launched the last of us and is launching uncharted to buy them time with a jak game see the last of us not getting a sequel and uncharted will be over so my guess is jak or a new game I'll give them till gamescom 2015 to hear about it if mot then naughty dog has no intention of making it and I will lose hope in naughtydog cause yea can't beat the graphics of uncharted or the last of us but jak is not about that jak is about the epicness come ND give us the fans who made you give us a good closure to jak at least that
The Last of us got a sequel. The good news is that Uncharted is finally over. After The Last of Us 2, they'll have no choice but to either return to Jak & Daxter or come up with a new IP
This is my favorite level in the game and it's literally because it reminds me of the first game.
Same here
Absolutely.
I think it’s the blue sage area from the first game

This game was paying homage to Jak 1 with this song and Haven Forest
This is nostalgia at its finest
I love the comments from people here. We had a good childhood with these games.
peaceful place.
most peaceful level
this song would fit perfectly in jak and daxter :) thats why i love it
Best soundtrack to listen to when You had a rough day
I remember all these tracks like it was yesterday. I always loved this games atmosphere. It has such a heart and soul to it
La verdad que sí en especial la música a veces me sacaba lágrimas
If this level was remade on cryengine... oh my god.
Any751157 cryengine wtf?
@@Brand-pn5yz Jak 2 Renegade Reborn.
Everytime when i go to this place in jak and daxter, i stay just there and listen to the music :) so beautifull
how i wish i could go back to being a kid experiencing this game again. Definitely one of the greats
One of the best tracks in jak2
The most memorable music in Jak II.
We can dream buddy we can dream
Does anyone remember the boulders i was stuck on that level for hours
reper yesssss
Jesus fucking Christ the boulders were sooo annoying they didn’t have a pattern or nothing you just had to hope for the best
lil reper the blocks tho
Unfortunately, this is in the game.
That part SUCKED 😂😂😂
What a wonderful game

I always thought the forest was were the forbidden jungle was

Soooooooooooo relaxing........ :) love it.
This might be one of my favourite Jak 2 soundtracks because it has the feel of the first game, just like the level itself
Relax and close your eyes just listen to this relaxing music 😊😍
beautyful music
I hate those metal heads with the shield and but i like the rhino based metal head.
The ones with the shield were loads of BS, but the rhino wasn't too hard to deal with. Just walk to the side and roll away to the other side of the little area then unload your rifle into it.
Both of those f**kers gave me such a hard time. Do not miss those parts in the least.
The ones with shield are already at the Drill Platform.
When you see them moving their shield, punch to the side and you'll dodge their shots
One of my favorite levels, and I remember this music the most strongly from Jak II.
Nostalgia kicking in
This is my childhood 😭

Fucking Shield Metal Heads.
I died several times cause of them only!
The only level that remembers me Jak And Daxter 1 that remembers me Crash Bandicoot that remembers me the nostalgia that remembers me why are my favorite games of all time ;)
Are you ok
@Screen Play Jose Not nostalgia man, what i said is true. Jak and Daxter feels like a combination of GTA+Crash Bandicoot.

Well we have Crash 4 and a teased Spyro 4 soooo
