I've got a MUCH easier way to beat this that will BLOW YOUR MINDS. Don't even need to do all the jump shooting & all that. As soon as the battle starts, TURN AROUND. Walk towards the wall behind you to the left, and there is a little tiny ledge you can jump onto in the corner to EXIT KOR'S NEST. Once you jump up & reach the top, all you've gotta do is stand at the top of the ledge, and shoot Kor from above. He can't reach you, and all you gotta do now is enjoy your target practice, while you stand in one place the whole time & fire away. The battle will be over in like 2-3 minutes 😄
There is a glitch in the final boss . After you turn in Dark Jak in the cutscenes. Click any gun it will allow you to stay in Dark Jak and it doesn't waste any dark ego. So you can use Dark mode twice in this boss .
Super satisfying when you land the last hit on kor with the peace maker! And have one hp left.. Just did that recently and WHAT A CATHARTIC BLOW. To all past attempts when diying and trying again!
There is a bug on the ps4 version (Not the collection, the ps2 port) with the aoe attack of the boss, that dark aura you need to jump turns into a goddamn area attack, i had to run from it because i didn't know it was a bug and it need to be jumped.
I think the way he died by flying into the precursor time rift ring and then damaging it by exploding, was his pitiful attempt at trying to sabotage things one last time: no Precursor Time Rift Ring no way for Young Jak to go back in time and grow up and eventually become the hero he was meant to be. TBH there's a TON of missing backstory and information that we just don't have to fully fill in all of the history of the world in which these games are set.

I had so much trouble with this boss when I was a kid (the Stingers kept getting me) that I had to ask my mother to take me to Best Buy to buy Action Replay codes. XD If only I knew that the spinning Wastelander move actively targeted enemies back then. Now it’s just watch out for when Kor shoots at you.
@@JSwag_Reviews spamming it is for kids but that last 4 shots were on point. I try to hit the spin jump before I hit the ground for a good on point burst.
@@Briareos-yf9kl yea it’s one of the few bosses where it can be pretty effective if I can remember correctly. Maybe the 2 fights with the baron as well, he’ll there weren’t many boss fights in this game haha.
elin111 like Nathanator said if you do the jump, then spin kick and shoot but press the shoot trigger twice with split second difference, you can easily do it.
It always disappointed me that game wastes your Dark Jak on the cutscene instead of allowing you to actually _use it_ during the fight. The worst is, there's no way to fully replenish it by the time the fight is over. You probably can go into this fight having unlocked unlimited Dark Jak but good luck having that done on your first playthrough.

Somehow my dumb kid brain thought I was well into the game lol I just picked it back up after all these years, yeah, that's right in the beginning of the game lmfao this game is hard yo idk how I was supposed to beat it as a kid
Is because once the metal heads were believed to be gone they saw no reason to restore it. Plus the metal heads that did survive infiltrated the city from the holes left from Jaks sewer missions
The shield wall went down because Kor tipped off Krew to open up an entrance for the Metal Heads. This is actually the suicide mission Sig was assigned to do. Once that happened, basically all hell broke loose, Kor had full access to his powers within the city where the stone was hidden, and there you go, finale.

The stone is said to be a Percursor egg, although the Percursors (Ottsels) are mammals.

The Jak 2 and 3 port are bugged on nextgen consoles. I recommend you just play the PS2 original on emulator
