It's so rare to hear Christmas music post-1950s that's worth listening to. I'm very picky with my Xmas music. And this sounds great, just like an old crooner. Never heard it before!
Scott has such great range, a truly amazing singer and unlike most modern shitbricks he wrote his own shit- he's a gift to our generation and I hope he stays with us for many years to come
oh, and i forgot to mention: PLZ do a whole CD of standards this way. you will rake in the cash while you are making people happy that an album like this could even exist in this crappy day and age. PLZ! we need it. : )
This is an early Christmas present. This is my Favorite Christmas song, I love Christmas, and frankly, I'm glad Scott Weiland is alive and well! My Christmas wish is for STP to get back together, play in my hometown on Christmas eve, and hear Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas and Dead And Bloated in the same night.
Jonas, I hate to tell you, - Chris Weiland died in 2015. I don't think anyone wanted to say it. (While, yes, his spirit lives on). Just for the record, Jeff Gutt is now the lead singer for STP, with Chester Bennington prior (someone who also died). It's undoubtedly been pretty hard going for the group, losing two lead singers in the last few years, so I wish them all the best (and also Scott... wherever you are, - I hope to meet you again someday.)
In my opinion Scott's one of the greatest singers of all time. And the smoking really hasn't done anything to his singing voice. He still pulls off high notes as good as he did back in '96 when "Tiny Music" was released, and he smoked back then too. Billy Joel is another great singer who always smoked. He can't pull off the high notes like he used to, but that's understandable because he's 60. Scott's only 42. And I personally think he's looking better nowadays than he did when he was on heroin.
I miss you Scott! I love you, man… 💔
Merry Christmas in Heaven Scott!! ❤️✝️❤️🎄
I MISS THIS MAN ROCKIN THE CROWD.
I seriously miss this man. 2022
Seriously!!! Scott Weiland can sing anything he want with that voice!
Truth
My favorite version of this song!
Miss him a lot.
This song always makes me cry.
Scott smoking is the least of his worries... leave it alone... he sounds phenomenal..
Woah, did he have perfect pitch? He started singing MLC a'capella, then they played the recording of him singing it and he was dead on, the same pitch
Scott is great
Been 2 years, Scott. Rest easy, man
🙏🏻
Saudades eternas Scott.
100% epitome of cool.
This is awesome
WOW! I love it! I love the old standards, too, so this is just great to hear!

Sherrie Brown he did... just not in the way we’d hoped he would...
What a wonderful spirit he was for what he went through.

Smoking... what you have to remember is all the superstars of the sixties smoked. Paul McCartney for example, he could still sing like a beast.

Nice little interview. Any way we could get Scott to quit smoking(only saying this because I care).
@ANGELSVEN If you like standards just listen to Patrick Basile.
@ANGELSVEN his album "The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year" comes out October 4th
3:15 made me smile haha
Good Stuff. I'm Happy He Recored It This Way, Rather Than "Rockin" It Out. Thats Kinda Cheesy.
Does Scott have a biography I would love to read it such a interesting life he had
+rzm103089 he wrote a book about his life, kind of recently, "Not Dead & Not for Sale: A Memoir"
you know you're getting old when...
Love those pointy shoes. Did he hide his herion spoon in there?

Why did he never sing this well with Velvet Revolver, he was always kinda monotone in VR.
wtf... seriously?
